摘要
从动机论的角度出发 ,从动机的内在要求、外在诱因及自我调节等三要素探讨郁达夫翻译爱尔兰小说的原因 ,认为郁达夫翻译爱尔兰小说是在特定的社会背景及个人因素的共同作用下 ,通过内在的自我调节后产生的行为活动。从动机论探讨个人的翻译活动有利于我们更加深刻地理解翻译者的主体性。
With reference to the theory of motivation, this paper analyses the motivations for Yu Dafu's selection of three Irish short stories for his translation from the following three aspects: internal demands, external inducements and self-regulation. The authors hold that it is due to the self-regulation of personal and social factors that Yu Dafu chose to translate the three Irish short stories. This study could deepen our understanding of the subjectivity of the translator.
