Fluvial- and lacustrine-factes sediments,which can be divided into 4 lithologic formations,have been accumulated in Jurassic basin,central Yunnan Tethys.Early Jurassic sediments are predominated by shallow-water lacustrine-factes terrigenous elastics,which are followed by Middle Jurassic alternating carbonates and terrigenous elastics,and Upper Jurassic sediments show a transition from braided-stream-delta deposits to shallow-water lacustrine factes agillaceous rocks,with intercalated dolomitic limestones.Finally, sedimentary system and model have been described on the basis of a time-space evolution.
