摘要
为推动我国体育发展战略研究和体育科学理论建设,实现2000年建成体育强国的战略目标,国家体委于1985年8月13日至19日在青海省西宁市召开了全国体育发展战略讨论会。会议收到来自全国24个省、自治区、直辖市的学术论文249篇,经评选印发会议66篇。参加会议的学者。
The guiding thought of the strategy in sports development in China should be: proceeding from ouractual condition and steering our efforts toward modernization, towards the world's advanced level andtowards the future, follow a path of sports development with distinct features of our own in order tomeet our people's growingneeds in material and cultural life and realize our strategic ai m of building apowerful sporting nation, Most participants in the Symposium maintained that the technical level ofsports is the primary, most striking hallmark of a sporting power, and that incertain circumstances therate of sports development can exceed that of economic development. The Symposium also studied several strategic plans for turning China into a sporting power——agoal which all the participants were fully convinced would be realized before the end of this century.
