摘要
本文源于德国民族音乐学家埃尔斯纳在国际传统音乐学会(ICTM)下属的木卡姆研究会第一届研讨会上所作的主题报告。本文指出:木卡姆这一概念源于以旋律为主的音乐生产的高度发展阶段;由木卡姆原理支撑的音乐思维和音乐表达在不同的历史范围表现出各种各样的类型和种类。
This article stems from the key-note speech by the German ethnomusicologist Juergen Elsner for the first session of the Maqam Seminar affiliated to the International Council for Traditional Music(ICTM).The concept maqam originated from the high stage of development in melody-based music production;the musical thinking and expression supported by the maqam principles have a variety of categories in its different historical domains.
