摘要
以Ti粉、Al粉和Nb2O5为反应剂,均混、成型、覆埋后,于1220℃/30min烧结后原位合成了Al2O3晶须,采用XRD、SEM结合EDS表征了产物组成与Al2O3晶须形貌,并探讨了晶须的形成过程。结果表明,Nb2O5含量较低时,形成的晶须长而直,直径约分布在30~90nm之间。Al2O3晶须主要以VLS机制生长,但又区别于VLS机制,液态Al在Al2O3晶须的生长过程中发挥了至关重要的作用,既具有催化作用,同时又是Al2O3晶须生长必须的源物质。增大Nb2O5含量后,晶须表面粗糙,呈串珠状分布。说明过高的Nb2O5含量,不利于Al2O3晶须的生长。
In-situ Al2O3 whiskers were synthesized at 1220 ℃ for 30 minutes in the static atmosphere by using Ti, Al and Nb2O5 as the starting materials. The composition of the sample and the morphology of Al2O3 whiskers were characterized by XRD, SEM and EDS analysis. The growth mechanism of Al2O3 whiskers was also analyzed.
