摘要
虚拟制造是近几年在CAD/CAM/CAE集成技术基础上发展起来而又超越了CAD/CAM/CAE技术的新技术。通过对虚拟制造系统的体系结构、研究内容、涉及的主要技术问题和应用实例的介绍，阐明了开展虚拟制造技术研究和应用的必要性与重要性。
Virtual manufacturing, based on the integration of CAD/CAM/CAE, is a new technology developed in recent years, but now it goes beyond the integrated technology. This paper mainly discusses the VM(Virtual Manufacturing) technology research and its necessity and importance for application by the introduction of system structures、contents、technical problems and some cases of virtual manufacturing system.
