摘要
重点总结了飞秒激光与透明电介质相互作用中的光致折射率变化、光致着色、光致相变、光致破坏、光致谐波产生等实验结果,并且分析了相互作用的物理机制还讨论了透明电介质光致“辐射损伤”的若干问题.
New nonlinear optical phenomena, such as multi-photon absorption and ionization, as well as tunnel ionization in transparent dielectrics were introduced, when laser power intensity is higher than 1010 W/cm (10j/cm at 1ns, or 1 mj/ cm2 at 100fs),but lower than atomic internal electric field intensity( -1016W/cm2). The emphases have been put on the interaction of transparent dielectrics with femto-second(fs) laser beam. The fs laser induced photo-darkening, permanent refractive index changing, second harmonic generation, etc. were reported, and their mechanism was analyzed. The'radiation damage'in transparent dielectrics under irradiation by short wavelength laser(UV and VUV), X-ray and γ-ray was also introduced, and compared with the above nonlinear optical phenomena induced by fs laser.
