To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,the NCPA mounted the revival of the classic national opera The Daughter of the Party in Beijing from July 13 to 18.Not only did it mark the Party’s centenary,it was also the occasion of the 30 th anniversary of The Daughter of the Party’s premiere.The NCPA production received strong support from the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism,the Propaganda Bureau of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission and the People’s Liberation Army Culture and Art Center.This artistic masterpiece that captures the steadfast beliefs of the Communists and fearless revolutionary spirit continues the“red”lineage,paying tribute to the classics on this momentous occasion.
