摘要
张凤岐是近代中国边疆研究领域中颇具影响力的学者之一,也是云南大学政治学学科建设与发展进程中的贡献者,在学界有"滇籍外交专家"之称。他的研究从云南与西南边疆的关系切入,将西南边疆问题大致分为中英滇缅问题、中法滇越问题、西南交通、西南民族以及云南边区开发等方面,叙述精彩,观点独到,其著述充满了鲜明的时代感,体现了中国学人一以贯之的"经世致用"精神。其界务相关的著述被当今边疆学者誉为"民国时期研究中英滇缅界务的奠基之作"。
ZHANG Feng-qi is one of the influential scholars in the field of frontier studies in China. He is also a contributor in the construction and development of political science at Yunnan University. He is known as the "Diplomatic Expert of Yunnan" in the academic field. This research is based on the relationship between Yunnan and the Southwest Frontier, and divides the southwestern frontier issue into several aspects: Sino-British-Yunnan-Myanmar issue,Sino-French-Yunnan-Vietnam issue, Southwest transportation, Southwestern ethnic group,and Yunnan border region development. His writing with brilliant narrative and unique points is full of a clear sense of the times, which reflects the Chinese scholars’ consistent practical spirit. The works related to boundary affairs have been praised by today’s frontier scholars as "the foundation work for the study of Yunnan-Myanmar boundary affairs".
