摘要
从批评话语分析视角出发,对"海丝"话语如何利用空间隐喻构建福建区域形象进行探讨。研究发现,"海丝"话语运用大量包含正面评价意义的空间隐喻,为福建构建了正面积极的区域形象:福建在"海丝"中具有重要地位、经济发达、文化历史悠久、在其他各个方面都具有良好表现,且一直在进行自我提升。使用空间隐喻进行区域形象构建既是由(空间)隐喻的本质和意识形态功能所决定,又与福建本身社会现实密切相关,在很大程度上扭转并丰富公众对该省的整体认知。福建应利用更多样化的隐喻、话语策略、具有重大影响力的历史话语(或当下话语)进行区域形象构建,并加强对构建效果的评估。
In this article,critical discourse analysis is adopted to analyze how spatial metaphors are used to present Fujian’s regional image in Maritime Silk Road discourse.Among the major findings are:spatial metaphors,especially those with positive meanings,are widely applied to describing Fujian as a region which,with its well-developed economy,rich culture and long history,has made and will still make contributions to the prosperity in the province and the other parts along the Maritime Silk Road;(spatial)metaphors,as a way for human beings to learn about the world,will enable people to better understand the social reality of the province.Fujian should make use of,in more diversified ways,metaphor(or other linguistic strategies)and influential historical discourse(or current social discourse)to help construct its regional image.It should also make more efforts to evaluate what effects it has produced.
