摘要
基督宗教是当前世界上信众人数最多的宗教,这与欧洲列强向外扩张殖民有关,更重要的原因还在于基督教能与不同文化、民族、社会相调适,使之逐渐本土化有关。本文通过梳理近现代以来天主教和新教伴随着西方列强的殖民,向欧洲以外地区传播的过程,探讨天主教和新教传播与本土化相关问题。
Today,Christianity has become the most widely practiced religion globally.Its expansion was facilitated by the colonization of European powers and Christianity’s remarkable adaptability to diverse cultures,communities and societies,gradually indigenizing itself into different contexts.This article delves into the spread and indigenous development of Catholicism and Protestantism in the contemporary world by reviewing the process through which these Christian denominations extended beyond Europe,as well as their connection with the colonization of Western powers.
