摘要
【目的】探讨英文学术期刊,特别是动物类学术期刊建立科学严谨的编委遴选模式的方法。【方法】以《亚洲两栖爬行动物研究》为例,基于Web of Science数据库的底层数据,利用VOSviewer可视化文献分析软件,深入分析相关学科领域的作者群、研究机构以及竞争期刊的特点。【结果】针对期刊的实际发展情况,建立全球范围内挖掘、遴选潜在编委的新模式。【结论】以大数据为基础,建立新的编委遴选模式,将打破期刊固化的编委推荐方式,活化以编委会为中心的组稿工作,提升期刊对优秀稿源的吸引力,进而提升期刊的国际影响力。
[Purposes]This paper aims to explore the method of establishing a scientific and rigorous editorial board selection mode for English academic journals,especially for animal journals.[Methods]Taking Asian Herpetological Research(AHR)as an example,based on Web of Science database,we analyzed the characteristics of authors,organizations,and sources in the relative research field using VOSviewer visual bibliometric software.[Findings]According to the current situation of AHR,we propose an innovative selection system for editorial board members,which will allowus to search editorial board candidates all over the world.[Conclusions]Compared to the traditional recommendation system,this innovative selection system based on the big data can effectively break the solidified editorial board recommendation method,activate the editorial board-centered work,enhance the attractiveness of journals to excellent manuscript sources,and consequently improve the international influence of English academic journals.
