摘要
自19世纪初奇幻文学诞生以来,恐惧始终是奇幻文学研究的核心议题。20世纪相关理论研究不断丰富,研究者从多个角度对奇幻文学中恐惧的生成机制进行了阐释。目前,国内外学界对此尚乏系统性的整理,本文尝试从庞大纷杂的各类奇幻文学理论中爬梳出四家经典论述——弗洛伊德、洛夫克拉夫特、罗杰·卡伊瓦、罗杰·博泽托,以线索明确的专题呈现,梳理其论证逻辑,指出各理论的侧重点。在系统呈现各视角的基础上,勾勒恐惧理论的发展脉络和时代迁移,并对比主题学的方法,探求四种经典视角在揭示何为奇幻文学方面的意义。
Since the birth of fantasy literature in the 19th century,fear has always been a key topic in fantasy literature studies.As academic works ballooned in the 20th century,researchers interpreted fear in fantasy literature from multiple perspectives.Apart from the perspective of psychoanalysis or psychology,which analysed internal connections between fear and fantasy literature,scholars also explored the origin of fantasy fear in the characteristics of the fantasy genre and discourse.This paper reviews the works of four representative scholars of fantasy fear studies,and illustrates the transformations and shifts in perspectives of fantasy literature studies in the 20th century.
