摘要
本文以炎陵县龙渣村为例,通过问卷调查、皮博迪图片词汇测试和访谈等方法,对我国瑶族学生开展深入的语言使用与语言态度调查。研究发现,龙渣瑶族学生总体上瑶语处于"熟练"或"较好"水平,但仍低于其汉语的掌握程度;瑶族学生在学校环境下以使用汉语为主,而在家庭环境下同时使用瑶语和汉语;大部分瑶族学生肯定了瑶语的重要性,但他们仍倾向于选用汉语为教学语言;瑶族学生的语言使用与语言态度随年龄增长而变化;瑶族学生的语言使用与语言态度之间存在显著相关性。本研究还从地理环境、族际婚姻、汉语教育、语言态度和现代媒体等方面分析了瑶族学生的双语兼用与语言转用现象,并对我国开展民族语言文化保护工作提出了建议。
With a questionnaire research,Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and interviews as research methods,an in-depth survey concerning language use and language attitude of Yao ethnic students in Longzha village of Yanling county in Hunan province is conducted.The results show that the general level of the use of Yao language of Yao ethnic students in Longzha village is proficient or relatively proficient,but it is still lower than the level of their Mandarin proficiency.The Yao ethnic students speak mainly Mandarin in the school,whereas they speak both Mandarin and Yao language at home.Most of Yao ethnic students affirm the importance of Yao language,but they still tend to choose Mandarin as the main language of instruction in the school.Age is a crucial factor in language use and language attitude of Yao ethnic students.This study also finds out a close correlation between language use and language attitude of Yao ethnic students.The bilingualism and the language shift are accounted for from the perspective of geographical environment,ethnic intermarriage,school education,language attitude and modern media.We also put forward several suggestions for the ethnic language and culture production in Hunan province.
