摘要
一引言1944年元旦,国立敦煌艺术研究所在莫高窟举行了正式挂牌的仪式,一般都以此作为研究所的创建之年。1944年1月19日《新华日报》报道:“敦煌艺术研究所在今年元旦成立。”同日的《中央日报》报道:“敦煌艺术研究所已于元旦日成立。”后来传播甚广,遂成定论。
The National Institute of Dunhuang Art has traditionally been founded on New Year's Day in 1944.In fact,as early as March 26,1943,the National Institute of Dunhuang Art had already existed.During the establishment of the National Institute of Dunhuang Art,Mr.Chang Shuhong visited Mr.Li Dinglong's Dunhuang Mural Copy Exhibition in Chongqing as an opportunity and had the idea of going to Dunhuang.The establishment of the National Institute of Dunhuang Art was closely related to Mr.Yu Youren,who was then a senior official of the Nationalist Government.It was at the suggestion of Mr.Yu Youren that the idea of establishing the Dunhuang Art Research Institute began,and it began to be implemented.Meanwhile,Mr.Chang Shuhong was selected as the director of the preparatory committee.For the establishment of the National Institute of Dunhuang Art,Mr.Chang Shuhong contributed a lot and went to Dunhuang in 1943.After more than a year of preparation,the National Institute of Dunhuang Art was established on New Year's Day in 1944.
