摘要
电子计算机体层摄影(CT)的出现,大大地改变了颅脑X线诊断的面貌。它是通过电子计算机测算检测器所得透过人体组织衰减后的X线量,因此比传统的X线诊断方法敏感得多。它能够区别一般X线诊断方法不能区别的组织和结构,因此,不需用任何造影剂,它可以显示脑室、脑池和脑沟。
The preliminary experience of the first 545 cases of craniobrain disease diagnosed with computed tomography(OT)is presented,in which 123 cases were proved by loperations and pathological examinations.For brain tumors and other space occupying esions,not only the displacement,dilatation,obliteration and deformity of the ventricles could be shown,but also density changes were manifested.The edema surrounding a lesion could only be shown by OT and this is very important.In craniobrain trauma,except those with the iso-dense lesion,hematomas locating in any position could be exactly located.A negative CT scan could rule out most of the intra-cranial hematoma.For vascular lesions CT could differentiate brain infarct from hemo-rrahgc which is clinically difficult.In atrophic disorders,CT showed an enlarged ventricles,cisternae and sulci.Besides,we reported a rare case of leukoencephalopathy.Although CT has many advantages,there are certain limitations:(1)A very small lesion,especially a lesion near the bone or an iso-dense lesion may be missed.(2)It is not possible to determine the character of a tumor.(3)OT is an useful screening technique for intracranial aneurysm and arteriovenous malformations,but for differential diagnosis,angiography is often required.(4)In noncooperative patients and children,CT has to be done under general anesthesia.
