摘要
楝树新品种‘紫金楝’由楝树实生苗中的变异单株选育而来。落叶乔木,树冠卵球形,树皮黄褐色,并有砖红色深纵纹。多回羽状复叶,顶生小叶披针形,叶缘近全缘。花期4—5月,花瓣淡紫色,雄蕊筒紫蓝色,有清香气味。果实椭圆形至圆形,成熟果实黄色有光泽,冬季果实可宿存枝头至次年花开。抗病抗虫。适宜北京以南楝树适生区栽培。
The new Melia cultivar‘Zijinlian’was selected from the variant plant of Melia seedlings.The cultivar is a deciduous tree with an ovoid crown and yellow-brown bark with brick red deep vertical stripes.It has multiple pinnate compound leaves,terminal leaflets lanceolate,leaf margin nearly entire.Flowering from April to May,the petals are light purple blue,and the stamen tube is purple blue,with a fragrant scent.The fruit is elliptical or round in shape,with a shiny yellow color when ripe.It does not fall during winter and can stay on the branches until the following year.It has resistance to diseases and insects and suitable for cultivation in south of Beijing.
