摘要
陈独秀是中国近代史和中共党史上争议较大的历史人物。中国大革命失败后,中共中央认定陈独秀是党内的“右倾机会主义”。延安时期,毛泽东在中共党内的讲话和报告中,认为陈独秀在中国大革命时期所犯的错误是“右倾投降主义”,同时对陈独秀在新文化运动、五四运动、马克思主义传播和中国共产党创立过程中的历史功绩给予肯定性的叙述和评论。延安时期毛泽东评价陈独秀的基调对中共党内评价陈独秀的变化产生深远影响,从而启示人们评价中共党史人物需要寻求政治与学术的平衡,力求实事求是和客观公正。
Chen Duxiu has been a controversial figure in modern Chinese history and the Party history.After the failure of the Chinese Revolution,the Party Central Committee identified Chen as a“right opportunist”in the Party.During the Yan’an period,Mao Zedong,in his remarks and reports,reaffirmed that Chen made the errors of“right surrenderism”while speaking highly of Chen’s contributions to the New Cultural movement,the May 4th Movement of 1919,the spread of Marxism in China as well as the founding of the Communist Party of China.Mao’s appraisal on Chen set the keynote and effected a profound influence on the Party’s assessment on Chen Duxiu,which gives us insights into appraising historical figures in Party history.That is,we should seek a balance between politics and academics,seek truth from facts and be objective and fair.
