A new ground-based expenmental device,the Space Plasma Environment Research Facility(SPERF),is being designed at Harbin Institute of Technology in China,with Asymmetric REconnection eXperiment-3 Dimensional(AREX-3D...A new ground-based expenmental device,the Space Plasma Environment Research Facility(SPERF),is being designed at Harbin Institute of Technology in China,with Asymmetric REconnection eXperiment-3 Dimensional(AREX-3D) as one of the experimental components to study the asymmetric reconnection dynamics relevant to the interaction between the interplanetary and magnetospheric plasmas.The asymmetry in the designed magnetic reconnection process not only refers to the distinct plasma parameters designed for the two upstream regions across the current sheet,but also refers to the inhomogeneity in the direction along the current sheet resulting from the designed 3D magnetic field geometry.These two asymmetries are fundamental features of the reconnection process at the Earth's magnetopause.In experiment,the reconnection process is driven by a set of flux cores through coil-currentramp-up from the 'magnetosheath-side' to interact with a dipole magnetic field generated by the Dipole Research Experiment(DREX) coil on the 'magnetosphere-side'.The AREX-3D will be able to investigate a range of important reconnection issues in 3D magnetic field geometry that is relevant to the Earth's magnetopause.A wide range of plasma parameters can be achieved through inductive plasma generation with flux cores on the 'magnetosheath-side' and electron cyclotron resonance(ECR) with microwave sources on the 'magnetosphere-side',e.g.high(low)plasma density at experimental magnetosheath(dipole) side.Different reconnection regimes and geometries can be produced by adjusting plasma parameters and coil setups as well as coil current waveforms.The three-dimensional magnetic field configurations in the SPERF relevant to the dayside magnetopause reconnection are discussed in detail.展开更多

A new feature matching algorithm for weakly calibrated stereo images of curved scenes is proposed, based on mere geometric constraints. After initial correspondences are built via the epipolar constraint, many point-to-point image mappings called homographies are set up to predict the matching position for feature points. To refine the predictions and reject false correspondences, four schemes are proposed. Extensive experiments on simulated data as well as on real images of scenes of variant depths show that the proposed method is effective and robust.展开更多

This model includes summarizing and defining a variety of Hui-Style components parameter types. Determine the relationship between the parameter according to building formulas and design the parametric modeling process. First, set the depth of platform as the given user value. Then, calculate the component properties and the corresponding size according to the style of the Hui-Style architecture components and the constraint relation between Hui-Style architecture components. This needs only one parameter that is needed as the basic parameter in this method and the entire modeling process can be achieved based on it. The experimental result shows that the proposed method can well solve the complex parameters relationship of the Hui-Style architecture components and help the general users to construct the Hui-Style architecture components more effective.展开更多

This paper proposes a novel solution for location based service (LBS) in vehicular ad hoc network (VANET). Firstly, the relationship among anonymity degree, expected company area and vehicle density is discussed. Then, a companion set F is set up by k neighbor vehicles. Based on secure multi-party computation, each vehicle in V can compute the centroid, not revealing its location to each other. The centroid as a cloaking location is sent to LBS provider (P) and P returns a point of interest (POI). Due to a distributed secret sharing structure, P cannot obtain the positions of non-complicity vehicles by colluding with multiple internal vehicles. To detect fake data from dishonest vehicles, zero knowledge proof is adopted. Comparing with other related methods, our solution can resist passive and active attacks from internal and external nodes. It provides strong privacy protection for LBS in VANET.展开更多

If research requires a relatively rapid speed, the value of the phase shifts should be appropriately increased, if search requires a higher success probability, the value of the phase shifts should be appropriately decreased. Water eutrophication has become a worldwide environmental problem in recent years.Once a water body is eutrophicated,it will lose its primary functions and subsequently influence sustainable development of society and...Water eutrophication has become a worldwide environmental problem in recent years.Once a water body is eutrophicated,it will lose its primary functions and subsequently influence sustainable development of society and economy.Therefore,analysis of eutrophication becomes one of the most essential issues at present.With the ability to deal with vague and uncertain information,and express knowledge in a rule form,the rough set theory(RST) has been widely applied in diverse domains.The advantage of RST is that it can compress the rule and remove needless features by reduction inference rule.By this way,the rule gets effectively simplified and inference efficiency gets improved.However,if data amount is relatively big,it could be a process with large calculated amount to search rules by looking up tables.Petri nets(PNs) possesses so powerful parallel reasoning ability that inference result could be obtained rapidly merely by simple matrix manipulation with no need for searching rules by looking up tables.In this work,an integrated RPN model combining RST with PN was used to analyze relations between degrees of water eutrophication level and influence factors in the Pengxi River of Three Gorges Reservoir.It was shown that the RPN model could analyze water eutrophicaion accurately and quickly,and yield decision rules for the decision-makers at water purification plants of the water quality and assist them in making more cost-effective decisions.展开更多

A scheduling algorithm is proposed by introducing the Lyapunov optimization, which can dynamically choose users to transmit data based on queue backlog and channel statistics. The Lyapunov analysis shows that the proposed scheduling algorithm can make a tradeoff between queue backlog and energy consumption in the channel-aware mobile cloud computing system. Different spatial relations can be expressed by indicators which are useful for the analysis of geographical issues. Urbanization,an important geographical issue,is considered in this paper. The spatial relationship indicators concerning urbanization are expressed with a decision table. Thereafter,the spatial relationship indicator rules are extracted based on the application of rough set theory. The extraction process of spatial relationship indicator rules is illustrated with data from the urban and rural areas of Shenzhen and Hong Kong,located in the Pearl River Delta. Land use vector data of 1995 and 2000 are used. The extracted spatial relationship indicator rules of 1995 are used to identify the urban and rural areas in Zhongshan,Zhuhai and Macao. The identification accuracy is approximately 96.3%. Similar procedures are used to extract the spatial relationship indicator rules of 2000 for the urban and rural areas in Zhongshan,Zhuhai and Macao. An identification accuracy of about 83.6% is obtained.展开更多

The relationship between these two concepts is a strictly mutual complement relation. We then investigaie some important properties of knowledge distance and perform experimental analyses on two public data sets, which show the presented measure appears to be well suited to characterize the nature of knowledge in an information system. Finally, we establish the relationship between the knowledge distance and knowledge granulation, which shows that two variants of the knowledge distance can also be used to construct the knowledge granulation. These results will be helpful for studying uncertainty in information systems.展开更多

Due to the incre...A clear correspondence between the gated-diode generation-recombination (R-G) current and the performance degradation of an SOI n-channel MOS transistor after F-N stress tests has been demonstrated. Due to the increase of interface traps after F-N stress tests, the R-G current of the gated-diode in the SOI-MOSFET architecture increases while the performance characteristics of the MOSFET transistor such as the saturation drain current and sub-threshold slope are degraded. From a series of experimental measurements of the gated-diode and SOI-MOSFET DC characteristics, a linear decrease of the drain saturation current and increase of the threshold voltage as well as a like-line rise of the sub-threshold swing and a corresponding degradation in the trans-conductance are also observed. These results provide theoretical and experimental evidence for us to use the gated-diode tool to monitor SOI-MOSFET degradation.展开更多

Different spatial relations can be expressed by indicators which are useful for the analysis of geographical issues. Urbanization,an important geographical issue,is considered in this paper. The spatial relationship indicators concerning urbanization are expressed with a decision table. Thereafter,the spatial relationship indicator rules are extracted based on the application of rough set theory. The extraction process of spatial relationship indicator rules is illustrated with data from the urban and rural areas of Shenzhen and Hong Kong,located in the Pearl River Delta. Land use vector data of 1995 and 2000 are used. The extracted spatial relationship indicator rules of 1995 are used to identify the urban and rural areas in Zhongshan,Zhuhai and Macao. The identification accuracy is approximately 96.3%. Similar procedures are used to extract the spatial relationship indicator rules of 2000 for the urban and rural areas in Zhongshan,Zhuhai and Macao. An identification accuracy of about 83.6% is obtained.

文摘In this paper, we first introduce the concepts of knowledge closeness and knowledge distance for measuring the sameness and the difference among knowledge in an information system, respectively. The relationship between these two concepts is a strictly mutual complement relation. We then investigaie some important properties of knowledge distance and perform experimental analyses on two public data sets, which show the presented measure appears to be well suited to characterize the nature of knowledge in an information system. Finally, we establish the relationship between the knowledge distance and knowledge granulation, which shows that two variants of the knowledge distance can also be used to construct the knowledge granulation. These results will be helpful for studying uncertainty in information systems.

文摘A clear correspondence between the gated-diode generation-recombination (R-G) current and the performance degradation of an SOI n-channel MOS transistor after F-N stress tests has been demonstrated. Due to the increase of interface traps after F-N stress tests, the R-G current of the gated-diode in the SOI-MOSFET architecture increases while the performance characteristics of the MOSFET transistor such as the saturation drain current and sub-threshold slope are degraded. From a series of experimental measurements of the gated-diode and SOI-MOSFET DC characteristics, a linear decrease of the drain saturation current and increase of the threshold voltage as well as a like-line rise of the sub-threshold swing and a corresponding degradation in the trans-conductance are also observed. These results provide theoretical and experimental evidence for us to use the gated-diode tool to monitor SOI-MOSFET degradation.

文摘The linear cofactor difference operator(LCDO) method,a direct parameter extraction method for general diodes,is presented.With the developed LCDO method,the extreme spectral characteristic of the diode voltage-current curves is revealed,and its extreme positions are related to the diode characteristic parameters directly.The method is applied to diodes with different sizes and temperatures,and the related characteristic parameters,such as reverse saturation current,series resistance and non-ideality factor,are extracted directly.The extraction result shows good agreement with the experimental data.

文摘The forward gated-diode method is used to extract the dielectric oxide thickness and body doping concentration of MOSFETs, especially when both of the variables are unknown previously. First, the dielectric oxide thickness and the body doping concentration as a function of forward gated-diode peak recombination-generation (R-G) current are derived from the device physics. Then the peak R-G current characteristics of the MOSFETs with different dielectric oxide thicknesses and body doping concentrations are simulated with ISE-Dessis for parameter extraction. The results from the simulation data demonstrate excellent agreement with those extracted from the forward gated-diode method.

Based on web and coordination technology, this paper gives an implement architecture of this model.
