The entrance parameter of combustor corresponds to scramjet flight Mach number 3.5. Kerosene ignition is realized by using hydrogen as pilot flame. Wall pressure distributions of combustion are measured and flame photographs of ultraviolet ray are got. Experiment indicates that it is very difficult for kerosene fuel to realize self-ignition at low entrance temperature (below 900K) in supersonic combustor. Hydrogen pilot flame is one of the efficient methods for realizing kerosene ignition.展开更多

Using the cold working to assist in the aging hardening can improve the the hardness and electrical conductivity properties of Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg lead frame alloy. This paper studies the effect of different extent of cold working on the aging properties by a supervised ANN to model the non-linear relationship between processing parameters and the properties. The 21-dimensional CKF brings the calculation burden on the computer and the difficulty to meet a high filtering updating rate desired by rapid TA. The federated Kalman filter (FKF) for the rapid TA is proposed to solve the dilemma. The structure and the algorithm of the FKF, which can perform parallel computation and has less calculation burden, are designed. The wing flexure motion is modeled, and then the 12-order velocity matching local filter and the 15-order attitud ematching local filter are devised. Simulation results show that the proposed EKE for the rapid TA almost has the same performance as the CKF. Thus the calculation burden of the proposed FKF for the rapid TA is markedly decreased.展开更多

Experiments were conducted on the material with (α + β) phases atdeformation temperatures of 800, 860, 920, and 950℃, strain rates of 0.001, 0.01, 1, and 50 s^(-1),and height direction reductions of 30%, 40%, and 50%. After reaching a peak value near 920℃, thegrain size and volume fraction decrease with further increase of deformation temperature. The strainrate affects the morphologies and grain size of α phase of the TC6 titanium alloy. At a lowerstrain rate, the effect of the strain rate on the volume fraction is greater than that at a higherstrain rate under the experimental conditions. The effects of the strain rate on the microstructurealso result from deformation heating. The grain size of the α phase increases with an increase inheight direction reduction after an early drop. The effect of height direction reduction on thevolume fraction is similar to that of the grain size. All of the optical micrographs andquantitative metallography show that deformation process parameters affect the microstructure duringhot forming of the TC6 alloy, and a correlation between the temperature, strain, and strain rateappears to be a significant fuzzy characteristic.展开更多

Coated samples have been evaluated in terms of surface appearance, surface morphologies and cross-sectional morphologies using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The corrosion resistance of laminar coatings has been studied by means of salt spray accelerated testing and anodic polarization measurement. The results obtained showed that the corrosion performance of zinc-nickel laminar coatings was better than that of a single-layer zinc or nickel deposit with the same thickness, and the coatings with nickel sublayer adjacent to the steel substrate and zinc as the top layer had the best corrosion resistance. These results were in good agreement with the characteristics indicated in the morphologies of zinc-nickel laminar coatings after anodic polarisation measurement.展开更多

Wall boundary conditions on the surface of an airfoil are implemented by using their first order expansions on the airfoil chord line, which is placed along a grid line. However, the method is not restricted to flows with small disturbances since there are no restrictions on the magnitude of the velocity or pressure perturbations. The mathematical formulation and the numerical implementation of the wall boundary conditions in a finite volume Euler code are described. Steady transonic flows are calculated about the NACA 0006, NACA 0012 and NACA 0015 airfoils, corresponding to thickness ratios of 6%, 12%, and 15%, respectively. The computed results, including surface pressure distributions, the lift coefficient, the wave drag coefficient, and the pitching moment coefficient, at angles of attack from 0° to 8° are compared with solutions at the same conditions by FLO52, a well established Euler code using body fitted curvilinear grids. Results demonstrate that the method yields acceptable accuracies even for the relatively thick NACA 0015 airfoil and at high angles of attack. This study establishes the potential of extending the method to computing unsteady fluid structure interaction problems, where the use of a stationary rectilinear grid offers substantial advantages in both computer time and human work since it would not require the generation of time dependent body fitted grids.展开更多
