METHODS: Effects of COPADG on E...AIM: TO determine whether 2-(3-carboxy-l-oxopropyl) amino-2-deoxy-D-glucose (COPADG), a derivative of D-amino-glucose, inhibited the growth of human esophageal cancer cell line Eca-109. METHODS: Effects of COPADG on Eca-109 cells cultured in RPMI 1640 medium were examined by a tetrazoliumbased colorimetric assay (MTT assay). RESULTS: COPADG inhibited the growth of Eca-109 cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner; the maximumin hibition rate was 83.75%. CONCLUSION: COPADG can directly inhibit the proliferation of Eca-109 cells, which may serve as the experimental evidence for development of new drugs for esophageal cancer therapy.展开更多

The separation results indicate the high efficiency and reproducibility of the stationary phase. The electrostatic interaction, ion-exchange interaction between the solutes and the stationary phase are considered to attribute the effective separation. Moreover, the free silanols on the surface of the silica are effectively masked by the immobilized ionic liquid, a result of which is to decrease the non-specific absorption.展开更多

The effects of pH of the hydrolyzation as well as complexing agents including TEA, DEA, and MEA(monoethanolamine) on the structure and the morphology of PbTiO 3 powders are discussed. In the presence of OP microemulsion at pH 3.04, PF-Mo(Ⅵ) complex combines protein rapidly to form a stable compound and the absorbance at 527 nm is in proportion to the concentration of protein in the range 0-16 μg mL-1 for bovine serum albumin (BSA). OP microemuslion media is introduced into protein determination, it has increased markedly the sensitivity of the system. The molar absorption coefficient was 5.98×l06 L mol-1 cm-1 for BSA. The assay, with sensitivity, simplicity and tolerance to many foreign substances, is applied to the determination of protein in samples with satisfactory results. Moreover, the binding number of BSA with the complex, which is determined by molar ratio and slope ratio methods, is in good agreement.展开更多
The polymer-bound Schiff base ternary manganese complexes [PS-SalPhe-Mn-L(L=Phen, Bipy and 8HQ)] have been prepared from the polymer-bound Schiff base ligand, a manganese salt and the second ligand, such as 1,10-phena...The polymer-bound Schiff base ternary manganese complexes [PS-SalPhe-Mn-L(L=Phen, Bipy and 8HQ)] have been prepared from the polymer-bound Schiff base ligand, a manganese salt and the second ligand, such as 1,10-phenanthroline(phen), 2,2′-bipyridyl(bipy) and 8-quinolinol(8HQ). The polymer-bound Schiff base ternary manganese complexes were characterized by means of infrared spectrometry and ICP-AES. The catalytic activities of the complexes have been studied in the aerobic epoxidation of long-chain linear aliphatic olefins. It is shown that 1-octene or 1-decene can be directly oxidized by molecular oxygen when catalyzed by PS-SalPhe-Mn-L(L=Phen, Bipy and 8HQ), and 1,2-epoxy alkane can be afforded in these reactions.展开更多
