Research Progress of Fishery Resources in Tibet

The paper was to better understand fishery resources status in Tibet, to effectively protect rare and endangered cold-water fish resources, and to further understand the difficulties in rational exploitation and protection and utilization of fisheries resources. This study made a systematic analysis of research progress of fishery resources in Tibet and pointed out that Tibet had abundant water resources, but the aquatic industry lagged behind; resource utilization was extremely limit- ed; and endangered species had not been timely protected. It was very difficult to promote popularity of aquatic industry in Tibet because of weak infrastructure con- struetion and a serious lack of relevant technicians. Actually, the aquatic industry in Tibet remained basically a blank. Therefore, it was both important and neces- sary to establish fishery resources monitoring network based on platean water resource system. Furthermore, initial ideas for further investigation of water resources were put forward. 展开更多

A strain of gram-positive bacillus was isolated from suppurative lung organs of nursery pigs in a pig farm, which was further characterized by morphological observation, cultivation test, biochemical test, drug sensit... A strain of gram-positive bacillus was isolated from suppurative lung organs of nursery pigs in a pig farm, which was further characterized by morphological observation, cultivation test, biochemical test, drug sensitivity test, pathogenicity test and 16S rDNA gene cloning and sequence analysis. The results showed that the isolate grew well in rabbit blood agar plate and horse serum tryptone soybean agar (TSA) plate under aerobic condition, which could lead to mortality of mice and were susceptible to cephalosporin antibiotics and fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the isolate had close genetic evolutionary relationships with Corynebacterium bacteria, and the sequence of 16S rRNA gene shared the homology of 91.7% -98.3% with the representative strain of coryne- bacteria, indicating the isolated strain was eorynebactefium. 展开更多

Amphioctopus fangsiao is an important fishery resource in northern coastal China,and there is an interest to develop its commercial cultivation under controlled conditions.In this study,we describe the embryonic development of A.fangsiao from eggs to hatchlings,focusing on the formation of the mantle,eyes and arms.Results indicate that this species has several favorable characteristics for aquaculture,such as a short incubation period and a large body size of hatchlings.During the organogenesis,the primordia of organs,including the optic sac and arm crown,first appeared at stage VIII;then the mantle primordium,eye primordia and arm crown become visible at stage IX-X,and the rudiment of embryo(mantle,eyes and arms)was completely outlined at stage XI.The retinal pigment appeared yellowish at stage X-XI and gradually deepens in pigmentation in the subsequent stages,turning from yellowish to yellow,red,dark-red and eventually black.At stage XV,the primary lid fold,with only a circular opening remaining,covered the eye,and the dorsal ocular edge did not reach the ventral side until hatching(day 1-7).Afterwards,about 24 days after hatching,both the dorsal and ventral sides of eyelid could contract freely,with an oval and elongate slit remaining that was a miniature version of the adult morphology.The chromatophores and ink sac appeared at stage XIV.These observations provide a foundation for the reproductive biology and aquaculture of A.fangsiao and also offer an important reference for the research of embryonic development in related species. 展开更多
