This course covers the properties and selection methods of chemical equipment materials, basic knowledge of chemical vessel design, and design of thin-walled vessels with internal pressure. With the deepening of engineering certification and teaching practice, the teachers of this course get a deeper understanding of teaching. In this paper, the course contents, teaching forms, teaching means, and examination methods in the process of the course of engineering certification and course practice are analyzed and summarized, and targeted improvement methods are put forward. The course improves the teaching effect through the improvement of every detail and makes the students build up the engineering consciousness before the course design.展开更多

With the advancement of technology and the rapid development of socio-economic, cultural, and information technology, the problems and challenges it faced are becoming increasingly complex. This article takes the virtual teaching and research room of Chemical Engineering and Technology at University of Science and Technology Liaoning as an example to analyze its internal composition, current composition status, existing problems, and challenges. This article puts forward major construction strategy based on the virtual teaching and research room, analyses its roles in major construction from collaborative innovation team construction, rules and regulations improvement, teacher’s training and exchanging, teaching method reformation, teaching quality evaluation, and continuous improvement on major virtual teaching and research room. At the same time, it introspects the construction on the existing teaching and research room, discusses how to promote the sustainable development of virtual teaching and research room, and looks forward to its promotion and development prospect.展开更多
