The Pasternak-type foundation is used to simulate the interaction between the nanoplates and the elastic medium. The exact solutions of the nonlocal vibration frequency and buckling critical load of the 2 D decagonal QC layered nanoplates are obtained by solving the eigensystem and using the propagator matrix method. The present three-dimensional(3 D) exact solution can predict correctly the nature frequencies and critical loads of the nanoplates as compared with previous thin-plate and medium-thick-plate theories.Numerical examples are provided to display the effects of the quasiperiodic direction,length-to-width ratio, thickness of the nanoplates, nonlocal parameter, stacking sequence, and medium elasticity on the vibration frequency and critical buckling load of the 2 D decagonal QC nanoplates. The results show that the effects of the quasiperiodic direction on the vibration frequency and critical buckling load depend on the length-to-width ratio of the nanoplates. The thickness of the nanoplate and the elasticity of the surrounding medium can be adjusted for optimal frequency and critical buckling load of the nanoplate. This feature is useful since the frequency and critical buckling load of the 2 D decagonal QCs as coating materials of plate structures can now be tuned as one desire.展开更多

This feature is useful since the frequency and critical buckling load of the 2 D decagonal QCs as coating materials of plate structures can now be tuned as one desire.

文摘In this paper,we obtain Green’s functions of two-dimensional(2D)piezoelectric quasicrystal(PQC)in half-space and bimaterials.Based on the elastic theory of QCs,the Stroh formalism is used to derive the general solutions of displacements and stresses. Then,we obtain the analytical solutions of half-space and bimaterial Green’s functions.Besides, the interfacial Green’s function for bimaterials is also obtained in the analytical form. Before numerical studies,a comparative study is carried out to validate the present solutions.Typical numerical examples are performed to investigate the effects of multi-physics loadings such as the line force, the line dislocation, the line charge, and the phason line force. As a result, the coupling effect among the phonon field, the phason field, and the electric field is prominent, and the butterfly-shaped contours are characteristic in 2D PQCs.In addition, the changes of material parameters cause variations in physical quantities to a certain degree.

文摘The fundamental plastic nature of the quasicrystalline materials remains an open problem due to its essential complicacy. By developing the proposed generalized cohesive force model, the plastic deformation of crack in point group 10, 10 decagonal quasicrystals is analysed strictly and systematically. The crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) and the size of the plastic zone around the crack tip are determined exactly. The quantity of the crack tip opening displacement can be used as a parameter of nonlinear fracture mechanics of quasicrystalline material. In addition, the present work may provide a way for the plastic analysis of quasicrystals.

文摘Based on the modified couple-stress theory, the three-dimensional(3D)bending deformation and vibration responses of simply-supported and multilayered twodimensional(2D)decagonal quasicrystal(QC)nanoplates are investigated. The surface loading is assumed to be applied on the top surface in the bending analysis, the tractionfree boundary conditions on both the top and bottom surfaces of the nanoplates are used in the free vibration analysis, and a harmonic concentrated point loading is applied on the top surfaces of the nanoplates in the harmonic response analysis. The general solutions of the extended displacement and traction vectors for the homogeneous QC nanoplates are derived by solving the eigenvalue problem reduced from the final governing equations of motion with the modified couple-stress effect.By utilizing the propagator matrix method, the analytical solutions of the displacements of bending deformation for the phonon and phason fields, the natural frequency of free vibration, and the displacements of the harmonic responses of the phonon and phason fields are obtained.Numerical examples are illustrated to show the effects of the quasiperiodic direction, the material length scale parameter, and the the stacking sequence of the nanoplates on the bending deformation and vibration responses of two sandwich nanoplates made of QC and crystal materials.
文摘The present study develops the fracture theory for a two-dimensional octagonal quasicrystals. The exact analytic solution of a Mode Ⅱ Griffith crack in the material was obtained by using the Fourier transform and dual integral equations theory, then the displacement and stress fields, stress intensity factor and strain energy release rate were determined, the physical sense of the results relative to phason and the difference between mechanical behaviors of the crack problem in crystal and quasicrystal were figured out. These provide important information for studying the deformation and fracture of the new solid phase.

文摘An analytical solution of the guided wave propagation in a multilayered twodimensional decagonal quasicrystal plate with imperfect interfaces is derived.According to the elastodynamic equations of quasicrystals(QCs),the wave propagating problem in the plate is converted into a linear control system by employing the state-vector approach, from which the general solutions of the extended displacements and stresses can be obtained,These solutions along the thickness direction are utilized to derive the propagator matrix which connects the physical variables on the lower and upper interfaces of each layer. The special spring model, which describes the discontinuity of the physical quantities across the interface,is introduced into the propagator relationship of the multilayered structure. The total propagator matrix can be used to propagate the solutions in each interface and each layer about the multilayered plate. In addition, the traction-free boundary condition on the top and bottom surfaces of the laminate is considered to obtain the dispersion equation of wave propagation,Finally, typical numerical examples are presented to illustrate the marked influences of stacking sequence and interface coeficients on the dispersion curves and displacement mode shapes of the QC laminates.

文摘A Hamiltonian system is derived for the plane elasticity problem of two-dimensional dodecagonal quasicrystals by introducing the simple state function. By using symplectic elasticity approach, the analytic solutions of the phonon and phason displacements are obtained further for the quasicrystal plates. In addition, the effectiveness of the approach is verified by comparison with the data of the finite integral transformation method.

文摘Mg-6Zn-1Y(at.%)ribbons with strengthening precipitates of multi-type nanoquasicrystals were prepared by melt-spinning followed by aging treatments.Microstructural evolution of the rapidly solidified ribbons during isothermal aging was comprehensively studied using various electron microscopy techniques. Two new kinds of decagonal quasicrystals were formed in aged ribbons,in addition to precipitation of nanometer icosahedral quasicrystals.Atomic-resolution observations reveal that both decagonal quasicrystals can be modeled by quasiperiodic tiling with decagonal clusters of 2.5 nm in diameter, but overlap of neighboring clusters in both decagonal quasicrystals is different from the Gummelt model observed in other quasicrystals.A shell composed of complex Laves Mg-Zn domains was formed surrounding each decagonal quasicrystal precipitate upon prolonged aging. In addition, all kinds of nanoprecipitates exhibit excellent structure and size stability at 573 K.Our findings may have implications for not only fundamental studies about quasicrystals, but also microstructural manipulation of high-performance Mg alloys.

文摘Two-dimensional Ruddlesden-Popper(2DRP)perovskite exhibits excellent stability in perovskite solar cells(PSCs)due to introducing hydrophobic long-chain organic spacers. However, the poor charge transporting property of bulky organic cation spacers limits the performance of 2DRP PSCs.Inspired by the Asite cation alloying strategy in 3D perovskites,2DRP perovskites with a binary spacer can promote charge transporting compared to the unary spacer counterparts.Herein, the superior MA-based 2DRP perovskite films with a binary spacer, including 3-guanidinopropanoic acid(GPA)and 4-fluorophenethylamine(FPEA)are realized. These films(GPA_(0.85)FPEA_(0.15))_(2)MA_(4)Pb_5I_(16)show good morphology, large grain size, decreased trap state density, and preferential orientation of the as-prepared film.Accordingly, the present 2DRP-based PSC with the binary spacer achieves a remarkable efficiency of 18.37%with a V_(OC)of1.15 V,a J_(SC)of 20.13 mA cm^(-2),and an FF of 79.23%.To our knowledge, the PCE value should be the highest for binary spacer MA-based 2DRP(n≤5)PSCs to date.Importantly, owing to the hydrophobic fluorine group of FPEA and the enhanced interlayer interaction by FPEA,the unencapsulated 2DRP PSCs based on binary spacers exhibit much excellent humidity stability and thermal stability than the unary spacer counterparts.
