Multi-object tracking(MOT)has seen rapid improvements in recent years. However, frequent occlusion remains a significant challenge in MOT,as it can cause targets to become smaller or disappear entirely, resulting in lowquality targets, leading to trajectory interruptions and reduced tracking performance.Different from some existing methods, which discarded the low-quality targets or ignored low-quality target attributes.LQTTrack, with a lowquality association strategy(LQA),is proposed to pay more attention to low-quality targets. In the association scheme of LQTTrack,firstly,multi-scale feature fusion of FPN(MSFF-FPN)is utilized to enrich the feature information and assist in subsequent data association.Secondly, the normalized Wasserstein distance(NWD)is integrated to replace the original Inter over Union(IoU),thus overcoming the limitations of the traditional IoUbased methods that are sensitive to low-quality targets with small sizes and enhancing the robustness of low-quality target tracking. Moreover, the third association stage is proposed to improve the matching between the current frame’s low-quality targets and previously interrupted trajectories from earlier frames to reduce the problem of track fragmentation or error tracking, thereby increasing the association success rate and improving overall multi-object tracking performance.Extensive experimental results demonstrate the competitive performance of LQTTrack on benchmark datasets(MOT17,MOT20,and DanceTrack). 展开更多

The special characteristics of slowly moving infrared targets, such as containing only a few pixels, shapeless edge, low signal-to-clutter ratio, and low speed, make their detection rather difficult, especially when immersed in complex backgrounds. To cope with this problem, we propose an effective infrared target detection algorithm based on temporal target detection and association strategy. First, a temporal target detection model is developed to segment the interested targets. This model contains mainly three stages, i.e., temporal filtering, temporal target fusion, and cross-product filtering. Then a graph matching model is presented to associate the targets obtained at different times. The association relies on the motion characteristics and appearance of targets, and the association operation is performed many times to form continuous trajectories which can be used to help disambiguate targets from false alarms caused by random noise or clutter. Experimental results show that the proposed method can detect slowly moving infrared targets in complex backgrounds accurately and robustly, and has superior detection performance in comparison with several recent methods. 展开更多

The method for Bearings-Only Target Motion Analysis (BO-TMA) based on bearing measurements fusion of two arrays is studied. The algorithms of pseudolinear processing, extended Kalman filter and maximum likelihood estimation are presented. The results of simulation experiments show that the BO-TMA method based on association of multiple arrays not only makes contributions towards eliminating maneuvers needed by bearings-only TMA based on single array, but also improves the stabilization and global convergence for varied estimation algorithms. 展开更多

A study of intermittency of target associated fragments produced in the interactions of ^16O- AgBr at 4.5 AGeV/c with nuclear emulsion using the method of factorial moments, F4, has been performed. The dependence of the moments on the number of bins M is found to follow a power law behavior for the experimental data in terms of new scaled variable Х(Z) suggested by Bialas and Gazdzicki. The anomalous dimensions, dq, increase linearly with the order of moments, q. This observation indicates the association of multifractility with production mechanism of target associated fragments. 展开更多
