In dynamic scenarios, visual simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM)algorithms often incorrectly incorporate dynamic points during camera pose computation, leading to reduced accuracy and robustness. This paper presents a dynamic SLAM algorithm that leverages object detection and regional dynamic probability.Firstly,a parallel thread employs the YOLOX object detectionmodel to gather 2D semantic information and compensate for missed detections.Next,an improved K-means++clustering algorithm clusters bounding box regions, adaptively determining the threshold for extracting dynamic object contours as dynamic points change. This process divides the image into low dynamic, suspicious dynamic, and high dynamic regions. In the tracking thread, the dynamic point removal module assigns dynamic probability weights to the feature points in these regions.Combined with geometric methods,it detects and removes the dynamic points. The final evaluation on the public TUM RGB-D dataset shows that the proposed dynamic SLAM algorithm surpasses most existing SLAM algorithms, providing better pose estimation accuracy and robustness in dynamic environments. 展开更多

Dynamic structuralcolors can change in response todifferent environmental stimuli. This ability remains effectiveeven when the size of the speciesresponsible for the structural coloris reduced to a few micrometers, providing a promising sensingmechanism for solving microenvironmentalsensing problems inmicro-robotics and microfluidics. However, the lack of dynamicstructural colors that can encoderapidly, easily integrate, and accuratelyreflect changes in physical quantities hinders their use in microscale sensing applications. Herein, we present a 2.5-dimensionaldynamic structural color based on nanogratings of heterogeneous materials, which were obtained by interweaving a pH-responsive hydrogelwith an IP-L photoresist. Transverse gratings printed with pH-responsive hydrogels elongated the period of longitudinal grating in the swollenstate, resulting in pH-tuned structural colors at a 45° incidence. Moreover, the patterned encoding and array printing of dynamic structuralcolors were achieved using grayscale stripe images to accurately encode the periods and heights of the nanogrid structures. Overall, dynamicstructural color networks exhibit promising potential for applications in information encryption and in situ sensing for microfluidic chips. 展开更多

Wearable wristband systems leverage deep learning to revolutionize hand gesture recognition in daily activities.Unlike existing approaches that often focus on static gestures and require extensive labeled data, the proposed wearable wristband with selfsupervised contrastive learning excels at dynamic motion tracking and adapts rapidly across multiple scenarios. It features a four-channel sensing array composed of an ionic hydrogel with hierarchical microcone structures and ultrathin flexible electrodes, resulting in high-sensitivity capacitance output.Through wireless transmission from a Wi-Fi module, the proposed algorithm learns latent features from the unlabeled signals of random wrist movements.Remarkably, only few-shot labeled data are sufficient for fine-tuning the model, enabling rapid adaptation to various tasks. The system achieves a high accuracy of 94.9%in different scenarios, including the prediction of eight-direction commands, and air-writing of all numbers and letters. The proposed method facilitates smooth transitions between multiple tasks without the need for modifying the structure or undergoing extensive task-specific training. Its utility has been further extended to enhance human–machine interaction over digital platforms, such as game controls, calculators, and three-language login systems, offering users a natural and intuitive way of communication. 展开更多

Gas quenching and vacuum quenching process are widely applied to accelerate solvent volatilization to induce nucleation of perovskites in blade-coating method. In this work,we found these two pre-crystallization processes lead to different order of crystallization dynamics within the perovskite thin film, resulting in the differences of additive distribution. We then tailor-designed an additive molecule named 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea to obtain films with fewer defects and holes at the buried interface, and prepared perovskite solar cells with a certified efficiency of 23.75%.Furthermore,this work also demonstrates an efficiency of 20.18%for the large-area perovskite solar module(PSM)with an aperture area of 60.84 cm^(2).The PSM possesses remarkable continuous operation stability for maximum power point tracking of T_(90)>1000 h in ambient air. 展开更多

The ability to accurately predict urban traffic flows is crucial for optimising city operations.Consequently, various methods for forecasting urban traffic have been developed, focusing on analysing historical data to understand complex mobility patterns.Deep learning techniques, such as graph neural networks(GNNs),are popular for their ability to capture spatio-temporal dependencies. However, these models often become overly complex due to the large number of hyper-parameters involved. In this study,we introduce Dynamic Multi-Graph Spatial-Temporal Graph Neural Ordinary Differential Equation Networks(DMST-GNODE),a framework based on ordinary differential equations(ODEs)that autonomously discovers effective spatial-temporal graph neural network(STGNN)architectures for traffic prediction tasks. The comparative analysis of DMST-GNODE and baseline models indicates that DMST-GNODE model demonstrates superior performance across multiple datasets, consistently achieving the lowest Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE)values, alongside the highest accuracy. On the BKK(Bangkok)dataset,it outperformed other models with an RMSE of 3.3165 and an accuracy of 0.9367 for a 20-min interval, maintaining this trend across 40 and 60 min.Similarly,on the PeMS08 dataset,DMST-GNODE achieved the best performance with an RMSE of 19.4863 and an accuracy of 0.9377 at 20 min, demonstrating its effectiveness over longer periods. The Los_Loop dataset results further emphasise this model’s advantage, with an RMSE of 3.3422 and an accuracy of 0.7643 at 20 min, consistently maintaining superiority across all time intervals. These numerical highlights indicate that DMST-GNODE not only outperforms baseline models but also achieves higher accuracy and lower errors across different time intervals and datasets. 展开更多

Prediction of stability in SG(Smart Grid)is essential in maintaining consistency and reliability of power supply in grid infrastructure.Analyzing the fluctuations in power generation and consumption patterns of smart cities assists in effectively managing continuous power supply in the grid.It also possesses a better impact on averting overloading and permitting effective energy storage.Even though many traditional techniques have predicted the consumption rate for preserving stability, enhancement is required in prediction measures with minimized loss.To overcome the complications in existing studies, this paper intends to predict stability from the smart grid stability prediction dataset using machine learning algorithms. To accomplish this,pre-processing is performed initially to handle missing values since it develops biased models when missing values are mishandled and performs feature scaling to normalize independent data features. Then, the pre-processed data are taken for training and testing.Following that, the regression process is performed using Modified PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization)optimized XGBoost Technique with dynamic inertia weight update, which analyses variables like gamma(G),reaction time(tau1–tau4),and power balance(p1–p4)for providing effective future stability in SG.Since PSO attains optimal solution by adjusting position through dynamic inertial weights,it is integrated with XGBoost due to its scalability and faster computational speed characteristics. The hyperparameters of XGBoost are fine-tuned in the training process for achieving promising outcomes on prediction.Regression results are measured through evaluation metrics such as MSE(Mean Square Error)of 0.011312781,MAE(Mean Absolute Error)of 0.008596322,and RMSE(Root Mean Square Error)of 0.010636156 and MAPE(Mean Absolute Percentage Error)value of 0.0052 which determine the efficacy of the system. 展开更多

Efficient and stable photocathodes with versatility are of significance in photoassisted lithium-ion batteries(PLIBs),while there is always a request on fast carrier transport in electrochemical active photocathodes.Present work proposes a general approach of creating bulk heterojunction to boost the carrier mobility of photocathodes by simply laser assisted embedding of plasmonic nanocrystals. When employed in PLIBs,it was found effective for synchronously enhanced photocharge separation and transport in light charging process.Additionally, experimental photon spectroscopy, finite difference time domain method simulation and theoretical analyses demonstrate that the improved carrier dynamics are driven by the plasmonic-induced hot electron injection from metal to TiO_(2),as well as the enhanced conductivity in TiO2 matrix due to the formation of oxygen vacancies after Schottky contact.Benefiting from these merits, several benchmark values in performance of TiO2-based photocathode applied in PLIBs are set, including the capacity of 276 mAh g^(−1) at 0.2 A g^(−1) under illumination, photoconversion efficiency of 1.276%at 3 A g^(−1),less capacity and Columbic efficiency loss even through 200 cycles. These results exemplify the potential of the bulk heterojunction strategy in developing highly efficient and stable photoassisted energy storage systems. 展开更多

The increasing popularity of the Internet and the widespread use of information technology have led to a rise in the number and sophistication of network attacks and security threats.Intrusion detection systems are crucial to network security, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding networks from potential threats. However,in the context of an evolving landscape of sophisticated and elusive attacks, existing intrusion detection methodologies often overlook critical aspects such as changes in network topology over time and interactions between hosts. To address these issues, this paper proposes a real-time network intrusion detection method based on graph neural networks. The proposedmethod leverages the advantages of graph neural networks and employs a straightforward graph construction method to represent network traffic as dynamic graph-structured data.Additionally,a graph convolution operation with a multi-head attention mechanism is utilized to enhance the model’s ability to capture the intricate relationships within the graph structure comprehensively.Furthermore,it uses an integrated graph neural network to address dynamic graphs’structural and topological changes at different time points and the challenges of edge embedding in intrusion detection data. The edge classification problem is effectively transformed into node classification by employing a line graph data representation, which facilitates fine-grained intrusion detection tasks on dynamic graph node feature representations. The efficacy of the proposed method is evaluated using two commonly used intrusion detection datasets,UNSW-NB15 and NF-ToN-IoT-v2,and results are compared with previous studies in this field. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method achieves 99.3%and 99.96%accuracy on the two datasets, respectively, and outperforms the benchmark model in several evaluation metrics. 展开更多

Maintaining the integrity and longevity of structures is essential in many industries, such as aerospace, nuclear, and petroleum. To achieve the cost-effectiveness of large-scale systems in petroleum drilling,a strong emphasis on structural durability and monitoring is required. This study focuses on the mechanical vibrations that occur in rotary drilling systems, which have a substantial impact on the structural integrity of drilling equipment. The study specifically investigates axial, torsional, and lateral vibrations, which might lead to negative consequences such as bit-bounce,chaotic whirling, and high-frequency stick-slip.These events not only hinder the efficiency of drilling but also lead to exhaustion and harm to the system’s components since they are difficult to be detected and controlled in real time. The study investigates the dynamic interactions of these vibrations, specifically in their high-frequency modes, usingfield data obtained from measurement while drilling.Thefindings have demonstrated the effect of strong coupling between the high-frequency modes of these vibrations on drilling sys-tem performance. The obtained results highlight the importance of considering the interconnected impacts of these vibrations when designing and implementing robust control systems. Therefore, integrating these compo-nents can increase the durability of drill bits and drill strings,as well as improve the ability to monitor and detect damage. Moreover,by exploiting thesefindings, the assessment of structural resilience in rotary drilling systems can be enhanced.Furthermore, the study demonstrates the capacity of structural health monitoring to improve the quality, dependability, and efficiency of rotary drilling systems in the petroleum industry. 展开更多

The hot deformation behavior of Pt−10Ir alloy was studied under a wide range of deformation parameters. At a low deformation temperature(950−1150℃),the softening mechanism is primarily dynamic recovery. In addition, dynamic recrystallization by progressive lattice rotation near grain boundaries(DRX by LRGBs)and microshear bands assisted dynamic recrystallization(MSBs assisted DRX)coordinate the deformation. However,it is difficult for the dynamic softening to offset the stain hardening due to a limited amount of DRXed grains. At a high deformation temperature(1250−1350℃),three main DRX mechanisms associated with strain rates occur:DRX by LRGBs,DRX by a homogeneous increase in misorientation(HIM)and geometric DRX(GDRX).With increasing strain,DRX by LRGBs is enhanced gradually under high strain rates;the“pinch-off”effect is enhanced at low strain rates, which was conducive to the formation of a uniform and fine microstructure. 展开更多

In the context of power generation companies, vast amounts of specialized data and expert knowledge have been accumulated. However, challenges such as data silos and fragmented knowledge hinder the effective utilization of this information. This study proposes a novel framework for intelligent Question-and-Answer (Q&A) systems based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to address these issues. The system efficiently acquires domain-specific knowledge by leveraging external databases, including Relational Databases (RDBs) and graph databases, without additional fine-tuning for Large Language Models (LLMs). Crucially, the framework integrates a Dynamic Knowledge Base Updating Mechanism (DKBUM) and a Weighted Context-Aware Similarity (WCAS) method to enhance retrieval accuracy and mitigate inherent limitations of LLMs, such as hallucinations and lack of specialization. Additionally, the proposed DKBUM dynamically adjusts knowledge weights within the database, ensuring that the most recent and relevant information is utilized, while WCAS refines the alignment between queries and knowledge items by enhanced context understanding. Experimental validation demonstrates that the system can generate timely, accurate, and context-sensitive responses, making it a robust solution for managing complex business logic in specialized industries. 展开更多

Revealing the structure evolution of interfacial active species during a dynamic catalytic process is a challenging but pivotal issue for the rational design of high-performance catalysts. Here,we successfully prepare sub-nanometric Pt clusters(~0.8 nm)encapsulated within the defects of CeO_(2)nanorods via an in-situ defect engineering methodology. The as-prepared Pt@d-CeO_(2)catalyst significantly boosts the activity and stability in the water-gas shift(WGS)reaction compared to other analogs.Based on controlled experiments and complementary(in-situ)spectroscopic studies,a reversible encapsulation induced by active site transformation between the Pt^(2+)-terminal hydroxyl and Pt^(δ+)-O vacancy species at the interface is revealed, which enables to evoke the enhanced performance. Our findings not only offer practical guidance for the design of high-efficiency catalysts but also bring a new understanding of the exceptional performance of WGS in a holistic view, which shows a great application potential in materials and catalysis. 展开更多

Dynamic visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) is an important research area, but existing methods struggle to balance real-time performance and accuracy in removing dynamic feature points, especially when semantic information is missing. This paper presents a novel dynamic SLAM system that uses optical flow tracking and epipolar geometry to identify dynamic feature points and applies a regional dynamic probability method to improve removal accuracy. We developed two innovative algorithms for precise pruning of dynamic regions: first, using optical flow and epipolar geometry to identify and prune dynamic areas while preserving static regions on stationary dynamic objects to optimize tracking performance;second, propagating dynamic probabilities across frames to mitigate the impact of semantic information loss in some frames. Experiments show that our system significantly reduces trajectory and pose errors in dynamic scenes, achieving dynamic feature point removal accuracy close to that of semantic segmentation methods, while maintaining high real-time performance. Our system performs exceptionally well in highly dynamic environments, especially where complex dynamic objects are present, demonstrating its advantage in handling dynamic scenarios. The experiments also show that while traditional methods may fail in tracking when semantic information is lost, our approach effectively reduces the misidentification of dynamic regions caused by such loss, thus improving system robustness and accuracy. 展开更多

Explorations into new electrolytes have highlighted the critical impact of solvation structure on battery performance,Classical molecular dynamics(CMD)using semi-empirical force fields has become an essential tool for simulating solvation structures. However, mainstream force fields often lack accuracy in describing strong ion-solvent interactions, causing disparities between CMD simulations and experimental observations.Although some empirical methods have been employed in some of the studies to address this issue, their effectiveness has been limited. Our CMD research, supported by quantum chemical calculations and experimental data, reveals that the solvation structure is influenced not only by the charge model but also by the polarization description.Previous empirical approaches that focused solely on adjusting ion-solvent interaction strengths overlooked the importance of polarization effects.Building on this insight,we propose integrating the Drude polarization model into mainstream force fields and verify its feasibility in carbonate, ether, and nitrile electrolytes. Our experimental results demonstrate that this approach significantly enhances the accuracy of CMD-simulated solvation structures. This work is expected to provide a more reliable CMD method for electrolyte design, shielding researchers from the pitfalls of erroneous simulation outcomes. 展开更多

Background As visual simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM)is primarily based on the assumption of a static scene, the presence of dynamic objects in the frame causes problems such as a deterioration of system robustness and inaccurate position estimation. In this study,we propose a YGC-SLAM for indoor dynamic environments based on the ORB-SLAM2 framework combined with semantic and geometric constraints to improve the positioning accuracy and robustness of the system. Methods First, the recognition accuracy of YOLOv5 was improved by introducing the convolution block attention model and the improved EIOU loss function, whereby the prediction frame converges quickly for better detection. The improved YOLOv5 was then added to the tracking thread for dynamic target detection to eliminate dynamic points.Subsequently,multi-view geometric constraints were used for re-judging to further eliminate dynamic points while enabling more useful feature points to be retained and preventing the semantic approach from over-eliminating feature points, causing a failure of map building. The K-means clustering algorithm was used to accelerate this process and quickly calculate and determine the motion state of each cluster of pixel points. Finally,a strategy for drawing keyframes with de-redundancy was implemented to construct a clear 3D dense static point-cloud map. Results Through testing on TUM dataset and a real environment, the experimental results show that our algorithm reduces the absolute trajectory error by 98.22%and the relative trajectory error by 97.98%compared with the original ORBSLAM2,which is more accurate and has better real-time performance than similar algorithms, such as DynaSLAM and DS-SLAM.Conclusions The YGC-SLAM proposed in this study can effectively eliminate the adverse effects of dynamic objects, and the system can better complete positioning and map building tasks in complex environments. 展开更多

The recent discovery of type-Ⅶboron-carbon clathrates with calculated superconducting transition temperatures approaching~100 K has sparked interest in exploring new conventional superconductors that may be stabilized at ambient pressure. The electronic structure of the clathrate is highly tunable based on the ability to substitute different metal atoms within the cages, which may also be large enough to host small molecules. Here we introduce molecular hydrogen(H_(2))within the clathrate cages and investigate its impact on electron-phonon coupling interactions and the superconducting transition temperature(T_(c)).Our approach involves combining molecular hydrogen with the new diamond-like covalent framework, resulting in a hydrogen-encapsulated clathrate,(H_(2))B_(3)C_(3).A notable characteristic of(H_(2))B_(3)C_(3)is the dynamic behavior of the H_(2)molecules,which exhibit nearly free rotations within the B-C cages, resulting in a dynamic structure that remains cubic on average. The static structure of(H_(2))B_(3)C_(3)(a snapshot in its dynamic trajectory)is calculated to be dynamically stable at ambient and low pressures.Topological analysis of the electron density reveals weak van der Waals interactions between molecular hydrogen and the B-C cages, marginally influencing the electronic structure of the material. The electron count and electronic structure calculations indicate that(H_(2))B_(3)C_(3)is a hole conductor,in which H_(2)molecules donate a portion of their valence electron density to the metallic cage framework.Electron-phonon coupling calculation using the Migdal-Eliashberg theory predicts that(H_(2))B_(3)C_(3)possesses a T_(c) of 46 K under ambient pressure. These results indicate potential for additional light-element substitutions within the type-Ⅶclathrate framework and suggest the possibility of molecular hydrogen as a new approach to optimizing the electronic structures of this new class of superconducting materials. 展开更多

When a ship moves in an oblique flow, its hydrodynamic loads and wake characteristics vary substantially from those in straight-ahead motion. This dissimilarity can be even more complex when the ship operates in a seaway of shallow water. In this paper,a numerical analysis of the shallow-water effect on the hydrodynamic forces and wake characteristics of an international ship model,KVLCC2,in oblique flows is conducted.Numerical simulations are performed based on the Reynolds Averaged NavierStokes equation in conjunction with the shear stress transport(SST)k-ωturbulence model.Four relative water depths(h=1.2T,1.5T,3.0T,and 24T;T is the ship draft)and five different drift angles(β=0°,5°,10°,15°,and 20°)are considered. Results reveal the following:i)The shallow-water effect is strong and leads to nonlinear increases in the longitudinal force regardless of drift angles and on the transverse force and yaw moment whenever the drift angle increases.ii)In shallow water, the mean wake fraction is sensitive to the drift angle, and the strength of the aft-body vortex on the leeward side increases. 展开更多
