Sleep disturbances are among the most prevalent neuropsychiatric symptoms in individuals who have recovered from severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infections.Previous studies have demonstrated abnormal brain structures in patients with sleep disturbances who have recovered from coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).However,neuroimaging studies on sleep disturbances caused by COVID-19 are scarce, and existing studies have primarily focused on the long-term effects of the virus, with minimal acute phase data.As a result, little is known about the pathophysiology of sleep disturbances in the acute phase of COVID-19.To address this issue,we designed a longitudinal study to investigate whether alterations in brain structure occur during the acute phase of infection, and verified the results using 3-month follow-up data.A total of 26 COVID-19 patients with sleep disturbances(aged 51.5±13.57 years,8 women and 18 men),27 COVID-19 patients without sleep disturbances(aged 47.33±15.98 years,9 women and 18 men),and 31 age-and gender-matched healthy controls(aged 49.19±17.51 years,9 women and 22 men)were included in this study.Eleven COVID-19 patients with sleep disturbances were included in a longitudinal analysis. We found that COVID-19 patients with sleep disturbances exhibited brain structural changes in almost all brain lobes. The cortical thicknesses of the left pars opercularis and left precuneus were significantly negatively correlated with Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scores.Additionally,we observed changes in the volume of the hippocampus and its subfield regions in COVID-19 patients compared with the healthy controls. The 3-month follow-up data revealed indices of altered cerebral structure(cortical thickness, cortical grey matter volume, and cortical surface area)in the frontal-parietal cortex compared with the baseline in COVID-19 patients with sleep disturbances. Our findings indicate that the sleep disturbances patients had altered morphology in the cortical and hippocampal structures during the acute phase of infection and persistent changes in cortical regions at 3 months post-infection.These data improve our understanding of the pathophysiology of sleep disturbances caused by COVID-19. 展开更多

Complex Field Theory (CFT) proposes that dark matter (DM) and dark energy (DE) are pervasive, complex fields of charged complex masses of equally positive and negative complex charges, respectively. It proposes that each material object, including living creatures, is concomitant with a fraction of the charged complex masses of DM and DE in proportion to its mass. This perception provides new insights into the physics of nature and its constituents from subatomic to cosmic scales. This complex nature of DM and DE explains our inability to see DM or harvest DE for the last several decades. The positive complex DM is responsible for preserving the integrity of galaxies and all material systems. The negative complex charged DE induces a positive repelling force with the positively charged DM and contributes to the universe’s expansion. Both fields are Lorentz invariants in all directions and entangle the whole universe. The paper uses CFT to investigate zero-point energy, particle-wave duality, relativistic mass increase, and entanglement phenomenon and unifies Coulomb’s and Newton’s laws. The paper also verifies the existence of tachyons and explains the spooky action of quantum mechanics at a distance. The paper encourages further research into how CFT might resolve several physical mysteries in physics. 展开更多

Objective Emerging evidence suggests that exposure to ultrafine particulate matter(UPM,aerodynamic diameter<0.1μm)is associated with adverse cardiovascular events.Previous studies have found that Shenlian(SL)extract possesses anti-inflammatory and antiapoptotic properties and has a promising protective effect at all stages of the atherosclerotic disease process. In this study,we aimed to investigated whether SL improves UPM-aggravated myocardial ischemic injury by inhibiting inflammation and cell apoptosis. Methods We established a mouse model of MI+UPM.Echocardiographic measurement, measurement of myocardialinfarct size, biochemical analysis,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),histopathological analysis,Transferase dUTP Nick End Labeling(TUNEL),Western blotting(WB),Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR)and so on were used to explore the anti-inflammatory and antiapoptotic effects of SL in vivo and in vitro. Results SL treatment can attenuate UPM-induced cardiac dysfunction by improving left ventricular ejection fraction, fractional shortening, and decreasing cardiac infarction area.SL significantly reduced the levels of myocardial enzymes and attenuated UPM-induced morphological alterations. Moreover,SL significantly reduced expression levels of the inflammatory cytokines IL-6,TNF-α,and MCP-1.UPM further increased the infiltration of macrophages in myocardial tissue, whereas SL intervention reversed this phenomenon.UPM also triggered myocardial apoptosis, which was markedly attenuated by SL treatment. The results of in vitro experiments revealed that SL prevented cell damage caused by exposure to UPM combined with hypoxia by reducing the expression of the inflammatory factor NF-κB and inhibiting apoptosis in H9c2 cells. Conclusion Overall, both in vivo and in vitro experiments demonstrated that SL attenuated UPMaggravated myocardial ischemic injury by inhibiting inflammation and cell apoptosis. The mechanisms were related to the downregulation of macrophages infiltrating heart tissues. 展开更多

We search for nuclear recoil signals of dark matter(DM)models with a light mediator using data taken from a p-type point-contact germanium detector of the CDEX-10 experiment at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. The 90%confidence level upper limits on the DM-nucleon interaction cross section from 205.4 kg-day exposure data are derived, excluding the new parameter space in 2−3 GeV DM mass when the mediator mass is comparable to or lower than the typical momentum transfer. We further interpret our results to constrain a specific self-interacting DM model with a light mediator coupling to the photon through kinetic mixing and set experimental limits on the model parameter region favored by astrophysical observations. 展开更多

Biochar-derived dissolved organic matter(BCDOM),an essential component of biochar, plays a vital role in regulating the physicochemical and biological properties of soils during biochar application. However, the influence of BCDOM on soil organisms has not been clearly explained.Hence, this review aims to discuss the factors affecting BCDOM and its interaction with soil substances including organic pollutants, heavy metals, and microorganisms. Results displayed that the quantity of BCDOM ranges from 0.17 to 37.03 mg/g,which was influenced by feedstock, preparation methods of biochar, and extraction methods. With the decrease in lignin content of feedstocks, carbonization temperature, and acidity of extraction solution, the content of BCDOM increased.Through complexation and adsorption,protein-like components in BCDOM interact with heavy metals, promoting the adsorption and immobilization of heavy metals onto biochar.Furthermore,BCDOM enhances the adsorption of organic pollutants by biochar throughπ−πinteractions, hydrogen bonding, and redox processes.More importantly,BCDOM promotes plant growth by enhancing microbial activities, providing nutrients, and improving soil properties. However, the transport and fate of BCDOM in soil have not been well studied, and more researches are needed to explore the interaction mechanisms between BCDOM and soil organisms. 展开更多

The black shale samples from the Niutitang Formation in the Yangtze Block were sequentially treated using organic solvent extraction and wet chemical oxidation. The organic matter(OM)in the shales includes physically mobile OM(PmOM),chemically mobile OM(CmOM),and stable OM(StOM).The CmOM has the strongest CH_(4)adsorption capacity because it has the largest volume of micropores and mesopores. In contrast, the PmOM has a very negative effect on the CH_(4)adsorption because it is poreless. The XD shale is a siliceous shale,in which the quartz particles wrap partly OM,preventing extraction and oxidation. The SL shale is an argillaceous shale,in which most of the OM is combined with clay minerals to form organo-clay composites. In both the SL and XD shales, the OM that is extractable via organic solvents is distributed among the mineral particles and is interconnected. The conceptual model of marine black shale in different environments needs to be perfected in the future because quantitative and qualitative methods should be combined to clarify the relationship between the known OM types(e.g.,pyrobitumen,solid bitumen, and solid kerogen)and the OM types identified in this study. 展开更多

Background:This study addresses the pressing need to understand the nuanced relationship between‘mattering’—the perception of being significant to others—and problematic internet use(PIU)among university students.Unlike previous research that has primarily employed variable-centered approaches, this study first adopts a person-centered approach using Latent Profile Analysis(LPA)to identify distinct mattering profiles.Subsequently, through variable-centered analyses, these profiles are examined in relation to different types of PIU—specifically problematic social media use(PSMU)and problematic gaming(PG)—as well as adaptability. Methods:Data were collected from 3587 university students across 19 universities in China.Participants completed three mattering-related scales(General Mattering Scale,Anti-Mattering Scale, and Fear of Not Mattering Inventory),along with the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale, the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form, and the Nine-item Adaptability Scale. Results:A four-class model identified by LPA was optimally selected:Class 1(high general mattering, low anti-mattering,low fear of not mattering),Class 2(moderate levels),Class 3(moderate general mattering, high antimattering, high fear of not mattering),and Class 4(low general mattering, low fear of not mattering, moderate anti-mattering).Significant differences were found among these classes in both PIU types(PSMU:F=139.66,p<0.001;PG:F=162.96,p<0.001).The pattern of mean differences consistently showed:Class 3>Class 2>Class 4>Class 1.Class 3 participants demonstrated the highest likelihood of meeting the addiction criteria,Class 2 showed moderate probability, while Classes 1 and 4 exhibited lower probabilities(χ^(2)=113.38 to 408.87,all p<0.001).Additionally,Class 3 reported the lowest adaptability(F=131.67,p<0.001).Conclusion:This study reveals that the unique influence of three ways of assessing feelings of mattering and the fear of not mattering on university students’PIU at the personal level, concluding that these factors are integral to understanding PIU among this demographic. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Mild cognitive impairment(MCI)is a transitional state between normal aging and Alzheimer's disease(AD),characterized by subtle cognitive decline.Amnestic MCI(aMCI),in particular,is a critical precursor often progressing to AD.There is growing interest in understanding the neuroanatomical correlates of aMCI,especially the role of gray matter volume(GMV)in cognitive and motor function decline. This study hypothesized that aMCI patients will exhibit reduced GMV,particularly in brain regions associated with cognition and motor control, impacting both cognitive performance and motor abilities.AIM To investigate the association of GMV with cognitive and motor functions in aMCI.METHODS In this cross-sectional study conducted from March 2022 to March 2024,45 aMCI patients and 45 normal controls from our Department of Geratology were enrolled.Voxel-based morphometry was used to compare GMV between groups.Correlation of differential GMV with cognitive scores and gait parameters was assessed via partial correlation analysis.Linear regression was used to assess associations between whole-brain GMV and gait measures.RESULTS GMV of aMCI region of interest(ROI)1 and ROI2 was negatively correlated with Activities of Daily Living(ADL)score.GMV of ROI6 was positively correlated with the total scores of Mini-Mental State Examination and Cambridge Cognitive Examination-Chinese Version(CAMCOG-C)and negatively correlated with ADL score. In the partial correlation analysis of cognitive and motor function parameters, age, gender, educational level, height, and weight were controlled, and the results showed that CAMCOG-C was negatively correlated with Dual Task of Time Up and Go Test(TUG)duration in the aMCI group. The volume of the left occipital gray matter in the aMCI group was negatively correlated with TUG.GMV of the bilateral frontal gyrus, right orbitofrontal gyrus, right occipital cleft, right supraoccipital gyrus, and left anterior central gyrus was positively correlated with walking speed.CONCLUSION GMV reduction in aMCI correlates with impaired cognition and motor function, emphasizing key roles for prefrontal, occipital, and central regions in gait disorders. 展开更多

The exchange of inorganic nutrients at the coastal sediment-water interface(SWI)plays a crucial role in regulating the nutrient budget in overlying water. The related studies mainly focus on the mid-to high-latitude regions, leaving a significant gap in the quantitative assessment of nutrient exchange and environmental controls at the SWI in lowlatitude coastal regions. We quantitatively assess the exchange of inorganic nutrients at the SWI in three tropical bays(Dongzhai Harbor,Xiaohai Lagoon,Qinglan Harbor).Sediments act as a source of ammonium, phosphate, and silicate, but for nitrate, sediments can be both a source and sink, although with substantial spatial and temporal variations in their fluxes.Labile organic matter is a critical regulator for the fluxes of inorganic nutrients at the SWI.The sedimentary nutrients input with high N/P molar ratio will alter the nutrient stoichiometry to mitigate the nitrogen limitation in coastal waters. However, the internal sediment release in these tropical bays plays a relative weak role in contributing to the nutrient addition in comparison with the other external nutrient sources including riverine input, submarine groundwater discharge, and atmospheric deposition.According to the global compilation on SWI nutrient fluxes,we propose that water column primary production and external inputs to interpret the variation in exchange and fluxes of nutrients at the SWI in different ecosystems.Such a conceptual understanding of these chain biogeochemical processes involving external nutrient input, primary production, particulate organic matter settling, and the accumulation and release of inorganic nutrients in sediments will be helpful for the scientific-based pollution prevent and control in coastal waters. 展开更多

Objective Several epidemiological observational studies have related particulate matter(PM)exposure to Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),but many confounding factors make it difficult to draw causal links from observational studies. The objective of this study was to explore the causal association between PM_(2.5)exposure,its absorbance, and IBD.Methods We assessed the association of PM_(2.5)and PM_(2.5)absorbance with the two primary forms of IBD(Crohn’s disease[CD]and ulcerative colitis[UC])using Mendelian randomization(MR)to explore the causal relationship. We conducted two-sample MR analyses with aggregated data from the UK Biobank genome-wide association study.Single-nucleotide polymorphisms linked with PM_(2.5)concentrations or their absorbance were used as instrumental variables(IVs).We used inverse variance weighting(IVW)as the primary analytical approach and four other standard methods as supplementary analyses for quality control. Results The results of MR demonstrated that PM_(2.5)had an adverse influence on UC risk(odds ratio[OR]=1.010;95%confidence interval[CI]=1.001–1.019,P=0.020).Meanwhile,the results of IVW showed that PM_(2.5)absorbance was also causally associated with UC(OR=1.012;95%CI=1.004–1.019,P=0.002).We observed no causal relationship between PM_(2.5),PM_(2.5)absorbance,and CD.The results of sensitivity analysis indicated the absence of heterogeneity or pleiotropy, ensuring the reliability of MR results. Conclusion Based on two-sample MR analyses, there are potential positive causal relationships between PM_(2.5),PM_(2.5)absorbance,and UC. 展开更多

Intracerebral hemorrhage is the most dangerous subtype of stroke, characterized by high mortality and morbidity rates, and frequently leads to significant secondary white matter injury. In recent decades, studies have revealed that gut microbiota can communicate bidirectionally with the brain through the gut microbiota–brain axis. This axis indicates that gut microbiota is closely related to the development and prognosis of intracerebral hemorrhage and its associated secondary white matter injury. The NACHT,LRR,and pyrin domain-containing protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome plays a crucial role in this context. This review summarizes the dysbiosis of gut microbiota following intracerebral hemorrhage and explores the mechanisms by which this imbalance may promote the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. These mechanisms include metabolic pathways(involving short-chain fatty acids, lipopolysaccharides, lactic acid, bile acids,trimethylamine-N-oxide,and tryptophan),neural pathways(such as the vagus nerve and sympathetic nerve),and immune pathways(involving microglia and T cells). We then discuss the relationship between the activated NLRP3 inflammasome and secondary white matter injury after intracerebral hemorrhage. The activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome can exacerbate secondary white matter injury by disrupting the blood–brain barrier, inducing neuroinflammation, and interfering with nerve regeneration. Finally,we outline potential treatment strategies for intracerebral hemorrhage and its secondary white matter injury. Our review highlights the critical role of the gut microbiota–brain axis and the NLRP3 inflammasome in white matter injury following intracerebral hemorrhage, paving the way for exploring potential therapeutic approaches. 展开更多

The Pabdeh Formation represents organic matter enrichment in some oil fields, which can be considered a source rock. This study is based on the Rock–Eval,Iatroscan, and electron microscopy imaging results before and after heating the samples. We discovered this immature shale that undergoes burial and diagenesis,in which organic matter is converted into hydro-carbons.Primary migration is the process that transports hydrocarbons in the source rock.We investigated this phenomenon by developing a model that simulates hydrocarbon generation and fluid pressure during kerogen-to-hydrocarbon conversion.Microfractures initially formed at the tip/edge of kerogen and were filled with hydrocarbons, but as catagenesis progressed, the pressure caused by the volume increase of kerogen decreased due to hydrocarbon release. The transformation of solid kerogen into low-density bitumen/oil increased the pressure, leading to the development of damage zones in the source rock. The Pabdeh Formation’s small porethroats hindered effective expulsion, causing an increase in pore fluid pressure inside the initial microfractures. The stress accumulated due to hydrocarbon production, reaching the rock’s fracture strength, further contributed to damage zone development.During the expansion process, microfractures preferentially grew in low-strength pathways such as lithology changes, laminae boundaries, and pre-existing microfractures. When the porous pressure created by each kerogen overlapped, individual microfractures interconnected, forming a network of microfractures within the source rock. This research sheds light on the complex interplay between temperature, hydrocarbon generation, and the development of expulsion fractures in the Pabdeh Formation, providing valuable insights for understanding and optimizing hydrocarbon extraction in similar geological settings. 展开更多

White matter,a densely packed collection of myelinated axons, plays an essential part in neural networks. With high spatial resolution and deep penetration,multi-photon microscopy(MPM)is promising for white matter imaging in animal models in vivo. The third harmonic generation(THG)signal can be generated from white matter, but the bottom part of the white matter layer generates weak THG due to its high scattering. Here,we demonstrate an in vivo labeling and imaging technology, capable of visualizing the white matter layer in the mouse brain, combining°uorescence labeling with MitoTracker Red and three-photon°uorescence(3PF)microscopy excited at the 1700 nm window.3PF signals are several times higher than THG signals, resulting in deeper imaging of the white matter layer with the former. Our results indicate that 3PF microscopy is a promising technology for white matter imaging in the deep brain in vivo. 展开更多

Structural and functional explorations on bio-soft matter such as micelles, vesicles, nanoparticles, aggregates or polymers derived from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has emerged as a new topic in the field of TCM.The discovery of such cross-scaled bio-soft matter may provide a unique perspective for unraveling the new effective material basis of TCM as well as developing innovative medicine and biomaterials.Despite the rapid rise of TCM-derived bio-soft matter, their hierarchical structure and assembly mechanism must be unambiguously probed for a further in-depth understanding of their pharmacological activity. In this review, the current emerged TCM-derived bio-soft matter assembled from either small molecules or macromolecules is introduced, and particularly the unambiguous elucidation of their hierarchical structure and assembly mechanism with combined electron microscopic and spectroscopic techniques is depicted. The pros and cons of each technique are also discussed. The future challenges and perspective of TCM-derived bio-soft matter are outlined, particularly the requirement for their precise in situ structural determination is highlighted. 展开更多

Based on core and thin section data, the source rock samples from the Fengcheng Formation in the Mahu Sag of the Junggar Basin were analyzed in terms of zircon SIMS U-Pb geochronology, organic carbon isotopic composition, major and trace element contents,as well as petrology. Two zircon U-Pb ages of(306.0±5.2)Ma and(303.5±3.7)Ma were obtained from the first member of the Fengcheng Formation.Combined with carbon isotopic stratigraphy,it is inferred that the depositional age of the Fengcheng Formation is about 297-306 Ma,spanning the Carboniferous-Permian boundary and corresponding to the interglacial period between C4 and P1 glacial events.Multiple increases in Hg/TOC ratios and altered volcanic ash were found in the shale rocks of the Fengcheng Formation, indicating that multiple phases of volcanic activity occurred during its deposition. An interval with a high B/Ga ratio was found in the middle of the second member of the Fengcheng Formation, associated with the occurrence of evaporite minerals and reedmergnerite, indicating that the high salinity of the water mass was related to hydrothermal activity.Comprehensive analysis suggests that the warm and humid climate during the deposition of Fengcheng Formation is conducive to the growth of organic matter such as algae and bacteria in the lake, and accelerates the continental weathering, driving the input of nutrients.Volcanic activities supply a large amount of nutrients and stimulate primary productivity. The warm climate and high salinity are conducive to water stratification, leading to water anoxia that benefits organic matter preservation. The above factors interact and jointly control the enrichment of organic matter in the Fengcheng Formation of Mahu Sag. 展开更多

Rapid and accurate acquisition of soil organic matter(SOM)information in cultivated land is important for sustainable agricultural development and carbon balance management. This study proposed a novel approach to predict SOM with high accuracy using multiyear synthetic remote sensing variables on a monthly scale. We obtained 12 monthly synthetic Sentinel-2 images covering the study area from 2016 to 2021 through the Google Earth Engine(GEE)platform, and reflectance bands and vegetation indices were extracted from these composite images. Then the random forest(RF),support vector machine(SVM)and gradient boosting regression tree(GBRT)models were tested to investigate the difference in SOM prediction accuracy under different combinations of monthly synthetic variables. Results showed that firstly, all monthly synthetic spectral bands of Sentinel-2 showed a significant correlation with SOM(P<0.05)for the months of January,March,April,October, and November.Secondly,in terms of single-monthly composite variables, the prediction accuracy was relatively poor, with the highest R^(2)value of 0.36 being observed in January. When monthly synthetic environmental variables were grouped in accordance with the four quarters of the year, the first quarter and the fourth quarter showed good performance, and any combination of three quarters was similar in estimation accuracy. The overall best performance was observed when all monthly synthetic variables were incorporated into the models.Thirdly, among the three models compared, the RF model was consistently more accurate than the SVM and GBRT models, achieving an R^(2)value of 0.56.Except for band 12 in December, the importance of the remaining bands did not exhibit significant differences. This research offers a new attempt to map SOM with high accuracy and fine spatial resolution based on monthly synthetic Sentinel-2 images. 展开更多

The accurate simulation of regional-scale winter wheat yield is important for national food security and the balance of grain supply and demand in China.Presently, most remote sensing process models use the“biomass×harvest index(HI)”method to simulate regional-scale winter wheat yield. However, spatiotemporal differences in HI contribute to inaccuracies in yield simulation at the regional scale.Time-series dry matter partition coefficients(Fr)can dynamically reflect the dry matter partition of winter wheat. In this study,Fr equations were fitted for each organ of winter wheat using site-scale data. These equations were then coupled into a process-based and remote sensingdriven crop yield model for wheat(PRYM-Wheat)to improve the regional simulation of winter wheat yield over the North China Plain(NCP).The improved PRYM-Wheat model integrated with the fitted Fr equations(PRYM-Wheat-Fr)was validated using data obtained from provincial yearbooks.A 3-year(2000-2002)averaged validation showed that PRYM-Wheat-Fr had a higher coefficient of determination(R^(2)=0.55)and lower root mean square error(RMSE=0.94 t ha^(-1))than PRYM-Wheat with a stable HI(abbreviated as PRYM-Wheat-HI),which had R^(2) and RMSE values of 0.30 and 1.62 t ha^(-1),respectively.The PRYM-Wheat-Fr model also performed better than PRYM-Wheat-HI for simulating yield in verification years(2013-2015).In conclusion, the PRYM-Wheat-Fr model exhibited a better accuracy than the original PRYM-Wheat model, making it a useful tool for the simulation of regional winter wheat yield. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Cases of depression among adolescents are gradually increasing. The study of the physiological basis of cognitive function from a biochemical perspective has therefore been garnering increasing attention.Depression has been hypothesized to be associated with the brain biochemical metabolism of the anterior cingulate gyrus, frontal lobe white matter, and the thalamus.AIM To explore the application of proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1H-MRS)in the metabolic alterations in the prefrontal white matter(PWM)and gray matter(GM)in adolescents with depression.METHODS 1H-MRS was performed for semi-quantitative analysis of the biochemical metabolites N-acetylaspartate(NAA),choline(Cho)complexes,creatine(Cr),and myoinositol(mI)in bilateral PWM,anterior cingulate GM,and thalami of 31 adolescent patients with depression(research group)and 35 healthy adolescents(control group),and the NAA/Cr,Cho/Cr,and mI/Cr ratios were calculated.Meanwhile,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Wechsler Memory Scale were used to assess the degree of depression and memory function in all adolescents. The correlation of brain metabolite levels with scale scores was also analyzed.RESULTS The research group had markedly higher HAMD-24 scores and lower memory quotient(MQ)compared with the control group(P<0.05).Adolescents with depression were found to have lower bilateral PWM NAA/Cr and Cho/Cr ratios compared with healthy adolescents(P<0.05).The mI/Cr ratios were found to be similar in both groups(P>0.05).The bilateral anterior cingulate GM NAA/Cr,Cho/Cr,and mI/Cr also did not demonstrate marked differences(P>0.05).No statistical inter-group difference was determined in NAA/Cr of the bilateral thalami(P>0.05),while bilateral thalamic Cho/Cr and mI/Cr were reduced in teenagers with depression compared with healthy adolescents(P<0.05).A significant negative correlation was observed between the HAMD-24 scores in adolescents with depression with bilateral PWM NAA/Cr and Cho/Cr and were inversely linked to bilateral thalamic Cho/Cr and mI/Cr(P<0.05).In adolescents with depressions,MQ positively correlated with right PWH NAA/Cr,left PWH Cho/Cr,and bilateral thalamic Cho/Cr and mI/Cr.CONCLUSION PWM and thalamic metabolic abnormalities might influence teen depression, and the reduction in bilateral PWM NAA/Cr and Cho/Cr could be related to the neuropathology of adolescents with depression suffering from memory impairment. There exists a possibility of dysfunction of nerve cell membrane phospholipids in the thalami of adolescent patients with depression. 展开更多
