基于Plant Simulation的产线车辆调度问题

随着“中国制造2025计划”的进行,军工工业要推行产线无人化,而自动引导车(automated guided vehicle,AGV)作为全自动化生产线的主要物流载体,其调度的优劣直接决定了整个产线的产能和效率。由于军工场所对于安全性的要求,无法采用无线... 随着“中国制造2025计划”的进行,军工工业要推行产线无人化,而自动引导车(automated guided vehicle,AGV)作为全自动化生产线的主要物流载体,其调度的优劣直接决定了整个产线的产能和效率。由于军工场所对于安全性的要求,无法采用无线通信等手段,只能采用点对点的光通讯方式,这也使得AGV通讯的实时性变差。基于Plant Simulation软件,建立了仿真系统模型,打通了该物流仿真软件与现场控制器的实时数据交互通道,实现了仿真系统与现实同步运行,完成了物流仿真软件与现场控制器的无缝连接,有效地解决了军工工业没有无线造成AGV调度实时性差的难题。实验证明,这种方法有效地简化了调度系统的编写难度,并使系统整体的实时性能提高了0.058 s。与传统方法相比,编写时间缩短了9.7倍,调试时间更缩短了22倍。为军工产线实现全自动化奠定基础,并为在危险场所使用脉动生产线提供技术支持。 展开更多

The pre-wetting of aggregate surface is a means to improve the interface performance of SBS modified asphalt and aggregate.The effect of pre-wetting technology on the interaction between SBS modified asphalt and aggregate was analyzed by molecular dynamics simulation.The diffusion coefficient and concentration distribution of SBS modified asphalt on aggregate surface are included.The simulation results show that the diffusion coefficient of the aggregate surface of SBS modified asphalt is increased by 47.6%and 70.5%respectively after 110#asphalt and 130#asphalt are pre-wetted.The concentration distribution of SBS modified asphalt on the aggregate surface after pre-wetting is more uniform.According to the results of interface energy calculation,the interface energy of SBS modified bitumen and aggregate can be increased by about 5%after pre-wetting.According to the results of molecular dynamics simulation,the pre-wetting technology can effectively improve the interface workability of SBS modified bitumen and aggregate,so as to improve the interface performance. 展开更多

The microstructures and thermodynamic properties of mixed systems comprising pyridinium ionic liquid[HPy][BF_(4)]and acetonitrile at different mole fractions were studied using molecular dynamics simulation in this work.The following properties were determined:density,self-diffusion coefficient,excess molar volume,and radial distribution function.The results show that with an increase in the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the self-diffusion coefficient decreases.Additionally,the excess molar volume initially decreases,reaches a minimum,and then increases.The rules of radial distribution functions(RDFs)of characteristic atoms are different.With increasing the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the first peak of the RDFs of HA1-F decreases,while that of CT6-CT6 rises at first and then decreases.This indicates that the solvent molecules affect the polar and non-polar regions of[HPy][BF_(4)]differently. 展开更多

Heat treatment processes, such as annealing and quenching, are crucial in determining residual stress evolution, microstructural changes and mechanical properties of metallic materials, with residual stresses playing a greater role in the performance of components. This paper investigates the effect of heat treatment on residual stresses induced in AISI 1025, manufactured using LENS. Finite element model was developed and simulated to analyze residual stress development. AISI 1025 samples suitable for tool and die applications in Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) filament production, were fabricated using Laser Engineered Net Shaping (LENS) process, followed by heat treatment where annealing and quenching processes were done. The material’s microstructure, residual stress and hardness of heat-treated samples under investigation, were compared against the as-built samples. The results indicated that after annealing, tensile residual stresses were reduced by 93%, resulting in a reduced crack growth rate, compared to the as-built sample, although the hardness was reduced significantly by 25%. On the other hand, high tensile residual stresses of 425 ± 14 MPa were recorded after quenching process with an improvement of hardness by 21%. 展开更多

Machine Learning and Simulation Techniques for Detecting Buoy Types from LiDAR Data

Critical to the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of an autonomous maritime vessel is its ability to perceive the external environment through onboard sensors. For this research, data was collected from a LiDAR sensor installed on a 16-foot catamaran unmanned vessel. This sensor generated point clouds of the surrounding maritime environment, which were then labeled by hand for training a machine learning (ML) model to perform a semantic segmentation task on LiDAR scans. In particular, the developed semantic segmentation classifies each point-cloud point as belonging to a certain buoy type. This paper describes the developed Unity Game Engine (Unity) simulation to emulate the maritime environment perceived by LiDAR with the goal of generating large (automatically labeled) simulation datasets and improving the ML model performance since hand-labeled real-life LiDAR scan data may be scarce. The Unity simulation data combined with labeled real-life point cloud data was used for a PointNet-based neural network model, the architecture of which is presented in this paper. Fitting the PointNet-based model on the simulation data followed by fine-tuning the combined dataset allowed for accurate semantic segmentation of point clouds on the real-world data. The ML model performance on several combinations of simulation and real-life data is explored. The resulting Intersection over Union (IoU) metric scores are quite high, ranging between 0.78 and 0.89, when validated on simulation and real-life data. The confusion matrix-entry values indicate an accurate semantic segmentation of the buoy types. 展开更多

The shallow gassy soils significantly affect the construction of underground projects. Proper characterization of spatial distribution of shallow gassy soils is indispensable prior to construction of underground projects in the area. Due to the costly conditions required in the site investigation for gassy soils, only a limited number of gas pressure data can be obtained in engineering practice, which leads to the uncertainty in characterizing spatial distribution of gassy soils. Determining the number of boreholes for investigating gassy soils and their corresponding locations is pivotal to reducing construction risk induced by gassy soils. However, this primarily relies on the engineering experience in the current site investigation practice. This study develops a probabilistic site investigation optimization method for planning investigation schemes (including the number and locations of boreholes) of gassy soils based on the conditional random field and Monte Carlo simulation. The proposed method aims to provide an optimal investigation scheme before the site investigation based on prior knowledge. Finally, the proposed approach is illustrated using a case study. 展开更多

Multiple braking mechanisms have been introduced for use in vehicles. This study explores the potential of using magneto-rheological fluid (MRF) brakes in automotive applications. MRF brakes offer controllable braking force due to a magnetic field, but their use is limited by simulation challenges. In this study, a 7-tooth MRF brake model is proposed. The brake model is simulated in Altair Flux software to analyze magnetic field distribution, braking torque, and its variation under different currents and disc speeds. The simulation conditions also consider both viscous and electromagnetic torque components. Then, the results are analyzed across different brake regions, including rotor, stator, and fluid gap. These results provide valuable insights for designing, manufacturing, installing, and testing MRF brakes for automotive use. 展开更多

The global rise in energy demand, particularly in remote and sparsely populated regions, necessitates innovative and cost-effective electrical distribution solutions. Traditional Rural Electrification (RE) methods, like Conventional Rural Electrification (CRE), have proven economically unfeasible in such areas due to high infrastructure costs and low electricity demand. Consequently, Unconventional Rural Electrification (URE) technologies, such as Capacitor Coupled Substations (CCS), are gaining attention as viable alternatives. This study presents the design and simulation of an 80 kW CCS system, which taps power directly from a 132 kV transmission line to supply low-voltage consumers. The critical components of the CCS, the capacitors are calculated, then a MATLAB/Simulink model with the attained results is executed. Mathematical representation and state-space representation for maintaining the desired tapped voltage area also developed. The research further explores the feasibility and operational performance of this CCS configuration, aiming to address the challenges of rural electrification by offering a sustainable and scalable solution. The results show that the desired value of the tapped voltage can be achieved at any level of High Voltage (HV) with the selection of capacitors that are correctly rated. With an adequately designed control strategy, the research also shows that tapped voltage can be attained under both steady-state and dynamic loads. By leveraging CCS technology, the study demonstrates the potential for delivering reliable electricity to underserved areas, highlighting the system’s practicality and effectiveness in overcoming the limitations of conventional distribution methods. 展开更多

A prediction model for guiding tumor microwave ablation surgery based on simulation

Purpose:The major limitation of tumor microwave ablation(MWA)operation is the lack of predictability of the ablation zone before surgery.Operators rely on their individual experience to select a treatment plan,which is prone to either inadequate or excessive ablation.This paper aims to establish an ablation prediction model that guides MWA tumor surgical planning.Methods:An MWA process was first simulated by incorporating electromagnetic radiation equations,thermal equations,and optimized biological tissue parameters(dynamic dielectric and thermophysical parameters).The temperature distributions(the short/long diameters,and the total volume of the ablation zone)were then generated and verified by 60 cases ex vivo porcine liver experiments.Subsequently,a series of data were obtained from the simulated temperature distributions and to further fit the novel ablation coagulated area prediction model(ACAPM),thus rendering the ablation-dose table for the guiding surgical plan.The MWA clinical patient data and clinical devices suggested data were used to validate the accuracy and practicability of the established predicted model.Results:The 60 cases ex vivo porcine liver experiments demonstrated the accuracy of the simulated temperature distributions.Compared to traditional simulation methods,our approach reduces the long-diameter error of the ablation zone from 1.1 cm to 0.29 cm,achieving a 74%reduction in error.Further,the clinical data including the patients'operation results and devices provided values were consistent well with our predicated data,indicating the great potential of ACAPM to assist preoperative planning. 展开更多

Smelting with oxygen bottom blowing is one of the main methods used in the frame of copper pyrometallurgy.With this approach,feed materials and oxygen-enriched air are introduced in reversed order to enhance multiphaseflow within the furnace.Understanding the flow structure and temperature distribution in this setup is crucial foroptimizing production.In this study,gas-liquid interactions,and temperature profiles under varying air-injectionconditions are examined by means of numerical simulation for a 3.2 m×20 m furnace.The results indicate that thehigh-velocity regions are essentially distributed near the lance within the reaction region and the flue gas outlet,while low-velocity regions are located close to the furnace walls on both side of the reaction region.Dead regionsappear in the sedimentation region,with gas velocities surpassing those of the molten phase.As the injection rateincreases from 0.50 to 0.80 Nm3/s,the stabilization time of the average liquid surface velocity decreases from 2.6 sto 1.9 s,exhibiting a similar trend to the gas holdup.During stabilization,the average liquid surface velocity risesfrom 0.505 to 0.702 m/s.The average turbulent kinetic energy(TKE)of the fluid in the molten bath increases from0.095 to 0.162 m^(2)/s^(2).The proportion of the area distribution with TKE greater than 0.10 m^(2)/s^(2) and the gas holdupat steady state both rise with an increase in the injection quantity.The maximum splashing height of the melt growsfrom approximately 0.756 to 1.154 m,with the affected area expanding from 14.239 to 20.498 m^(2).Under differentworking conditions with varying injection quantities,the average temperature changes in melt zone and flue gaszone of the furnace are small.The temperature in the melt and in the flue-gas zone spans the interval 1200℃–1257℃,and 1073℃–1121℃,respectively.The temperature distribution of the melt and flue gas reveals a patterncharacterized by elevated temperatures in the reaction zone,gradually transitioning to lower temperatures in thesedimentation region. 展开更多

Pelagic fish are the most abundant species in upwelling regions,contributing 25%of total global fisheries production.Climate-driven changes in the marine environment play a crucial role in their population dynamics.Using Chilean jack mackerel(Trachurus murphyi)as an example,this study conducted simulations to quantify the impacts of environmental variations on the stock assessment.A habitat-based surplus production model was developed by integrating suitable habitat area into the model parameters carrying capacity(K)and intrinsic growth rate(r),with a suitable habitat area serving as the proxy for the environmental conditions for Chilean jack mackerel in the Southeast Pacific Ocean.The dynamics of Chilean jack mackerel stock and fisheries data were simulated,and four assessment models with different configurations were built to fit simulated data,with or without considering environmental effects.The results indicated that Joint K-r model,which integrated both parameters with the suitable habitat area index,outperformed the others by coming closest to the‘true'population dynamics.Ignoring habitat variations in the estimation model tended to overestimate biomass and underestimate harvest rate and reference points.Without observation and process error,the results were estimated with bias,while FMSY is relatively sensitive.This research illustrates the importance to consider random errors and environmental influences on populations,and provides foundation guidelines for future stock assessment. 展开更多

基于Plant Simulation软件,构建一种化纤自动落丝系统的3D数字化模型,对系统效率关键输入因子进行参数化设置,将系统各工位三维数字模型导入软件中建立层次化运动机构图形结构,并运用Simltalk语言实现三维动作仿真,通过基础物理参数设置... 基于Plant Simulation软件,构建一种化纤自动落丝系统的3D数字化模型,对系统效率关键输入因子进行参数化设置,将系统各工位三维数字模型导入软件中建立层次化运动机构图形结构,并运用Simltalk语言实现三维动作仿真,通过基础物理参数设置,保证了仿真数字化模型与现实系统更具一致性。通过多级实验设计分析了系统影响因子对于系统效率的影响特性曲线,并进一步通过动态参数化实验方法,计算出双输入因子对系统效能影响的敏感度。该实验结果可为化纤自动落丝系统的建设成本控制与可行性分析提供指导,具有较好的工程应用价值。 展开更多
