The "emerging business education" has five characteristics of new connotation, new technology, new majors, new curriculum, and new talents.. The current situation and the challenges of "emerging business education" in vocational colleges are that the new connotation is unclearly defined, the new technologies are untimely updated, the new majorss are unreasonablely set, the new courses are not tightly connected, and the new talents are unsoundly trained. The construction of "emerging business education" in the vocational colleges should build a "emerging business education" system of integrating industry with education, improving technical support, rationally setting up majors or specialties, optimizing the curriculum system, and improving the talent training system. 展开更多

This paper aims to explore effective strategies for overcoming the five core challenges currently faced by vocational education:challenges in defining the educational type,variations in the quality of incoming students and their learning abilities,the need to improve teaching quality and effectiveness,urgent requirements for optimizing the quality of teaching staff,and insufficient depth in the integration of industry and education.By analyzing the root causes of these challenges,this paper proposes a series of targeted strategies and measures.Taking the School of Chemistry and Materials Engineering at Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology as an example,the paper elaborates on how the school has significantly enhanced the adaptability and teaching quality of vocational education through precise positioning of vocational education types,strengthening the construction of teaching staff,optimizing teaching methods and content,and deepening the integration of industry and education.The research results indicate that these initiatives not only effectively address key issues in vocational education but also promote comprehensive improvements in students’overall qualities and employment competitiveness,providing valuable insights and practical references for advancing the high-quality development of vocational education.Furthermore,by introducing the practice of the School of Chemistry and Materials Engineering at Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology in tailoring vocational education development to local conditions,this paper validates the reliability and feasibility of the proposed solutions. 展开更多

Developing rural vocational education is of great significance to urban-rural integration: developing rural vocational education is helpful to cultivating new farmers for construction of new socialist countryside,favorable to improving farmers' ability of finding jobs and starting undertaking, and beneficial to transfer of rural surplus labor and acceleration of urbanization. Restrictions on development rural vocational education mainly include: low value cognition of society and social assessment of rural vocational education; out of balance of cost and expected return of rural vocational education; the quality of supply of rural vocational education failure to satisfy demand of socio-economic development; imperfect rural vocational education system. In view of these,following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward: strengthen propaganda and guidance to build environment of public opinion for rural vocational education; push forward rural vocational compulsory education system to lay social foundation for rural vocational education; reinforce policy support to assist in building rural vocational education system; improve education system to build overall framework of rural vocational education; perfect laws and regulations to establish system and norm for development of rural vocational education. 展开更多

Nowadays, there are institutional obstacles to the integration of industry and education in VocationalEducation in China in terms of government power boundary, governance system, governance model, safeguard measures andenvironmental atmosphere. Therefore, the author makes an analysis and Discussion on the new ideas and strategies for eliminatingthe obstacles to the integration of industry and education in Vocational education. The study found that during the social transitionperiod, the survival and development of vocational and technical education became crucial. And the results of the research showthat the integration of production and education in vocational education is an inevitable requirement for the establishment of amodern vocational education system. The COVID-19 pandemic has generated major economic impacts in the vast majority of countries,including falling GDP and global trade,massive job losses,deficits and increased public debt.If quasi-generalized interventionist economic policies have made it possible to cushion the paralysis of the productive devices,the short-term global outlook remains very uncertain.In this gloomy context,what will be the situation on the labour market,and in particular the vocational integration of students?Corsica presents the example of a small island territory in search of a regional development scheme based on the economy of knowledge and competence.In this major structural perspective,the University Apprenticeship Training Centre(CFA UNIV)in the Corsican region has been striving,for a decade,to contribute to the enhancement of studentsapprentices vocational integration from the University of Corsica.Within the scope of its activities,are the monitoring and evaluation of the students-apprentices’professional integration from the University of Corsica.Since 2011,the carrying out the annual surveys on studentsapprentices’future from the University of Corsica has demonstrated the capacity of the sandwich course training in Higher Education simultaneously to boost the employability of skilled human capital and the growth of local business structuring.This contribution will aim to synthesize ten years of CFA UNIV experience and will endeavour to analyse the localized consequences of a global pandemic crisis on the nature of the vocational integration studentapprentices from the University of Corsica in a small territory island. 展开更多
