文摘Water splitting hinges crucially on the availability of electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction. The surface reconstruction has been widely observed in perovskite catalysts, and the reconstruction degree has been often correlated with the activity enhancement. Here,a systematic study on the roles of Fe substitution in activation of perovskite LaNiO_(3)is reported. The substituting Fe content influences both current change tendency and surface reconstruction degree.LaNi_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3)is found exhibiting a volcano-peak intrinsic activity in both pristine and reconstructed among all substituted perovskites in the LaNi_(1-x)Fe_(x)O_(3)(x=0.00,0.10,0.25,0.50,0.75,1.00)series.The reconstructed LaNi_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3)shows a higher intrinsic activity than most reported NiFe-based catalysts.Besides, density functional theory calculations reveal that Fe substitution can lower the O 2p level, which thus stabilize lattice oxygen in LaNi0.9Fe0.1O3 and ensure its long-term stability.Furthermore,it is vital interesting that activity of the reconstructed catalysts relied more on the surface chemistry rather than the reconstruction degree. The effect of Fe on the degree of surface reconstruction of the perovskite is decoupled from that on its activity enhancement after surface reconstruction. This finding showcases the importance to customize the surface chemistry of reconstructed catalysts for water oxidation.

文摘Anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzers(AEMWEs)for green hydrogen production have received intensive attention due to their feasibility of using earth-abundant NiFe-based catalysts.By introducing a third metal into NiFe-based catalysts to construct asymmetrical M-NiFe units, the d-orbital and electronic structures can be adjusted, which is an important strategy to achieve sufficient oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance in AEMWEs.Herein, the ternary NiFeM(M:La,Mo)catalysts featured with distinct M-NiFe units and varying d-orbitals are reported in this work.Experimental and theoretical calculation results reveal that the doping of La leads to optimized hybridization between d orbital in NiFeM and 2p in oxygen, resulting in enhanced adsorption strength of oxygen intermediates, and reduced rate-determining step energy barrier, which is responsible for the enhanced OER performance.More critically, the obtained NiFeLa catalyst only requires 1.58 V to reach 1 A cm^(−2) in an anion exchange membrane electrolyzer and demonstrates excellent long-term stability of up to 600 h.

文摘The paper presents experimental investigation results of crack pattern change in cement pastes caused by external sulfate attack(ESA).To visualize the formation and development of cracks in cement pastes under ESA,an X-ray computed tomography(X-ray CT)was used,i e,the tomography system of Zeiss Xradia 510 versa. The results indicate that X-CT can monitor the development process and distribution characteristics of the internal cracks of cement pastes under ESA with attack time.In addition, the C3A content in the cement significantly affects the damage mode of cement paste specimens during sulfate erosion. The damage of ordinary Portland cement(OPC)pastes subjected to sulfate attack with high C3A content are severe, while the damage of sulfate resistant Portland cement(SRPC)pastes is much smaller than that of OPC pastes.Furthermore,a quadratic function describes the correlation between the crack volume fraction and development depth for two cement pastes immermed in sulfate solution.

文摘Exploring efficient and nonprecious metal electrocatalysts of oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is crucial for developing rechargeable zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,an alloying-degree control strategy was employed to fabricate nitrogen-doped carbon sphere(NCS)decorated with dual-phase Co/Co_(7)Fe_(3)heterojunctions(CoFe@NCS).The phase composition of materials has been adjusted by controlling the alloying degree. The optimal CoFe_(0.08)@NCS electrocatalyst displays a half-wave potential of 0.80 V for ORR and an overpotential of 283 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2)for OER in an alkaline electrolyte. The intriguing bifunctional electrocatalytic activity and durability is attributed to the hierarchically porous structure and interfacial electron coupling of highly-active Co_(7)Fe_(3)alloy and metallic Co species. When the CoFe_(0.08)@NCS material is used as air-cathode catalyst of rechargeable liquid-state zinc-air battery(ZAB),the device shows a high peak power-density(157 mW·cm^(-2))and maintains a stable voltage gap over 150 h,outperforming those of the benchmark(Pt/C+RuO_(2))-based device. In particular, the as-fabricated solid-state flexible ZAB delivers a reliable compatibility under different bending conditions. Our work provides a promising strategy to develop metal/alloy-based electrocatalysts for the application in renewable energy conversion technologies.
文摘Binary composites(ZIF-67/rGO)were synthesized by one-step precipitation method using cobalt nitrate hexahydrate as metal source,2-methylimidazole as organic ligand, and reduced graphene oxide(rGO)as carbon carrier. Then Ru3+was introduced for ion exchange, and the porous Ru-doped Co_(3)O_(4)/rGO(Ru-Co_(3)O_(4)/rGO)composite electrocatalyst was prepared by annealing. The phase structure, morphology, and valence state of the catalyst were analyzed by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).In 1 mol·L^(-1)KOH,the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance of the catalyst was measured by linear sweep voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry, and chronoamperometry. The results show that the combination of Ru doping and rGO provides a fast channel for collaborative electron transfer. At the same time,rGO as a carbon carrier can improve the electrical conductivity of Ru-Co_(3)O_(4)particles,and the uniformly dispersed nanoparticles enable the reactants to diffuse freely on the catalyst. The results showed that the electrochemical performance of Ru-Co_(3)O_(4)/rGO was much better than that of Co_(3)O_(4)/rGO,and the overpotential of Ru-Co_(3)O_(4)/rGO was 363.5 mV at the current density of 50 mA·cm^(-2).

文摘This paper constructs a dynamic conflict model that considers Decision Makers'(DMs)evolutional attitude using the option prioritization. The proposed evolutional attitude approach is based on the framework of the Graph Model for Conflict Resolution(GMCR).Compared with the existing state-based preference, the option prioritization is a more convenient and efficient approach to analyze larger models with consideration of the evolutional attitude, which exists broadly in the evolutional conflicts in reallife. This study reveals how the evolutional attitude of a DM succeeds in the overall evolution of conflict. The analysis unfolds that DMs change their attitude(s)consequent upon the changes in DMs and options available to them as conflict evolves from one level to the next. The changes in attitude of DMs during dynamic conflict situation have substantial effects on the equilibrium outcomes of a conflict. The proposed evaluation attitude-based approach is employed to analyze the conflict between the Punjab Government(G)and Heritage Campaigner and the Public(P)in Pakistan that appeared due to the inappropriate design, planning, and construction of an urban transport system project in Lahore,Pakistan. The present study demonstrates the modeling procedure of a two-level evolutional attitude-based conflict analysis. The results of the stability analysis reveal that improper(negative)attitude may result in undesirable and unexpected consequences, such as project temporalities and delays. This research provides a foundation for future research in urban project planning that employs strategic ways to avoid disputes caused by DMs'attitudes.

文摘Integrative data from plastid and nuclear loci are increasingly utilized to resolve species boundaries and phylogenetic relationships within major angiosperm clades.Debregeasia(Urticaceae),an economically important genus, presents challenges in species delimitation due to its overlapping morphological traits and unstable taxonomic assignments. Here,we analyzed 14 morphological traits and generated 12 data matrices from the plastomes and nrDNA using genome skimming from the nine recognized morphospecies to clarify species boundaries and assess barcode performance in Debregeasia. We also used a universal set of 353 nuclear genes to explore reticulate evolution and biogeographic history of Debregeasia.Plastomes of Debregeasia exhibited the typical quadripartite structure with conserved gene content and marginal independent variations in the SC/IR boundary at inter-and intra-specific levels.Three Debregeasia species were non-monophyletic and could not be discerned by any barcode;however,ultra-barcodes identified the remaining six(67%),outperforming standard barcodes(56%).Our phylogenetic analyses placed Debregeasia wallichiana outside the genus and suggested six monophyletic clades in Debregeasia, although the placement between Debregeasia hekouensis and Debregeasia libera varied. There was extensive trait overlap in key morphologically diagnostic characters, with reticulation analysis showing potentially pervasive hybridization, likely influenced by speciation patterns and overlaps between species ranges. We inferred that Debregeasia crown diversification began at ca.12.82 Ma(95%HPD:11.54-14.63 Ma)in the mid-Miocene within Australia, followed by vicariance and later longdistance dispersal, mainly out of southern China. Our findings highlight the utility of genomic data with integrative lines of evidence to refine species delimitation and explore evolutionary relationships in complex plant lineages.

文摘Evolutionary transitions from sexual to asexual reproduction should have significant influences on genetic divergence and polymorphism at the genome level.Plant lineages with diverse reproductive systems provide opportunities to investigate this question using comparative approaches and studies of molecular evolution. We investigated evidence for differences among the transcriptomes of 19 Dioscorea species(wild yams)with diverse reproductive systems. These included sexual species, those that propagate primarily by bulbils, and those with mixed sexual and asexual reproductive modes. We examined how transitions between these reproductive systems affected between-species divergence and within-species polymorphism.Primarily asexual species exhibited a reduced efficacy of natural selection and accumulation of deleterious mutations for both divergence and polymorphism. In contrast, species with mixed reproductive strategies involving both seed and clonal reproduction showed no evidence of an increased fixation of harmful mutations at the divergence level, while an accumulation of genetic load present in polymorphism was evident. Our study indicates that the genetic consequences of evolutionary transitions from sexual to predominantly clonal reproduction is likely to depend on both the duration and extent of asexuality occurring in populations.

文摘Several physical mechanisms of earthquake nucleation, such as pre-slip,cascade triggering, aseismic slip, and fluid-driven models, have been proposed. However,it is still not clear which model plays the most important role in driving foreshocks and mainshock nucleation for given cases. In this study,we focus on the relationship between an intensive earthquake swarm that started beneath the Noto Peninsula in Central Japan since November 2020 and the nucleation of the 2024 M 7.6 Noto Hanto earthquake. We relocate earthquakes listed in the standard Japan Meteorological Agency(JMA)catalog since 2018 with the double-different relocation method.Relocated seismicity revealed that the 2024 M 7.6 mainshock likely ruptured a thrust fault above a parallel fault where the M 6.5 Suzu earthquake occurred in May 2023.We find possible along-strike and along-dip expansion of seismicity in the first few months at the beginning of the swarm sequence, while no obvious migration pattern in the last few days before the M 7.6 mainshock was observed.Several smaller events occurred in between the M 5.5 and M 4.6 foreshocks that occurred about 4min and 2 min before the M 7.6 mainshock. The Coulomb stress changes from the M 5.5 foreshock were negative at the hypocenter of the M 7.6 mainshock, which is inconsistent with a simple cascade triggering model. Moreover,an M 5.9 foreshock was identified in the JMA catalog 14 s before the mainshock. Results from backprojection of high-frequency teleseismic P waves show a prolonged initial rupture process near the mainshock hypocenter lasting for~25 s,before propagating bilaterally outward. Our results suggest a complex evolution process linking the earthquake swarm to the nucleation of the M 7.6 mainshock at a region of complex structures associated with the bend of a mapped large-scale reverse fault.A combination of fluid migration, aseismic slip and elastic stress triggering likely work in concert to drive both the prolonged earthquake swarm and the nucleation of the M 7.6 mainshock.
