On 30 January 2020 World Health Organization (WHO), declared the novel corona virus as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), COVID-19 virus as an epidemic transmitted virus. It was on 31 December 2019, the WHO China Country office was informed the cases of pneumonia unknown etiology detected in Wuhan city, Hubei Province of China. Just after WHO’s declaration, Ethiopia has taken different measures to protect from this public health emergency problem. The disease is human to human transmitted virus. It comes from outside of the country, so that it opens check points in different entrance of the country. However, in 13 March 2020 the first positive case was reported from Japanese man. The virus is continuing the transmission in the public progressively more. While this research has been working, within 90 days from the first case, the country reported 2506 positive cases, 35 deaths. The research has done after collecting the first 90 days of data in Ethiopian case. Daily report announced by Ethiopian MoH is based on the test. And hence, the reported data as positive cases with COVID-19 is not actual positive case data in the country. There for, this paper has contribution for planning and taking further measure on the viruses by demonstrating the next 90 days predictive data. I use best curve fitting analysis using python function of the module polyfit algorithm to predict the trend of COVID-19 cases in Ethiopia. 展开更多

For physical ozone absorption without reaction,two parametric estimation methods,i.e.the common linear least square fitting and non-linear Simplex search methods,were applied,respectively,to determine the ozone mass transfer coefficient during absorption and both methods give almost the same mass transfer coefficient.While for chemical absorption with ozone decomposition reaction,the common linear least square fitting method is not applicable for the evaluation of ozone mass transfer coefficient due to the difficulty of model linearization for describing ozone concentration dissolved in water.The nonlinear Simplex method obtains the mass transfer coefficient by minimizing the sum of the differences between the simulated and experimental ozone concentration during the whole absorption process,without the limitation of linear relationship between the dissolved ozone concentration and absorption time during the initial stage of absorption.Comparison of the ozone concentration profiles between the simulation and experimental data demonstrates that Simplex method may determine ozone mass transfer coefficient during absorption in an accurate and high efficiency way with wide applicability. 展开更多

A new six-parameter continuous distribution called the Generalized Kumaraswamy Generalized Power Gompertz (GKGPG) distribution is proposed in this study, a graphical illustration of the probability density function and cumulative distribution function is presented. The statistical features of the Generalized Kumaraswamy Generalized Power Gompertz distribution are systematically derived and adequately studied. The estimation of the model parameters in the absence of censoring and under-right censoring is performed using the method of maximum likelihood. The test statistic for right-censored data, criteria test for GKGPG distribution, estimated matrix &#372;, &#264;, and &#284;, criteria test Y<sup>2</sup>n</sub>, alongside the quadratic form of the test statistic is derived. Mean simulated values of maximum likelihood estimates and their corresponding square mean errors are presented and confirmed to agree closely with the true parameter values. Simulated levels of significance for Y<sup>2</sup>n</sub> (γ) test for the GKGPG model against their theoretical values were recorded. We conclude that the null hypothesis for which simulated samples are fitted by GKGPG distribution is widely validated for the different levels of significance considered. From the summary of the results of the strength of a specific type of braided cord dataset on the GKGPG model, it is observed that the proposed GKGPG model fits the data set for a significance level ε = 0.05. 展开更多

With the east section of the Changji sag Zhunger Basin as a case study, both a principal curvature method and a moving least square method are elaborated. The moving least square method is introduced, for the first time, to fit a stratum surface. The results show that, using the same-degree base function, compared with a traditional least square method, the moving least square method can produce lower fitting errors, the fitting surface can describe the morphological characteristics of stratum surfaces more accurately and the principal curvature values vary within a wide range and may be more suitable for the prediction of the distribution of structural fractures. The moving least square method could be useful in curved surface fitting and stratum curvature analysis. 展开更多

In order to avoid these difficulties, we present a fitting based on radial basis functions satisfying side conditions by least squares, although compared with interpolation the method loses some accuracy, it reduces the computational cost largely. Since the fitting accuracy and the non-singularity of coefficient matrix in normal equation are relevant to the uniformity of chosen centers of the fitted RBE we present a choice method of uniform centers. Iterative circle fitting based on circular attracting factor

An intuitive method for circle fitting is proposed. Assuming an approximate circle(CA,n) for the fitting of some scattered points, it can be imagined that every point would apply a force to CA,n, which all together form an overall effect that "draws" CA,n towards best fitting to the group of points. The basic element of the force is called circular attracting factor(CAF) which is defined as a real scalar in a radial direction of CA,n. An iterative algorithm based on this idea is proposed, and the convergence and accuracy are analyzed. The algorithm converges uniformly which is proved by the analysis of Lyapunov function, and the accuracy of the algorithm is in accord with that of geometric least squares of circle fitting. The algorithm is adopted to circle detection in grayscale images, in which the transferring to binary images is not required, and thus the algorithm is less sensitive to lightening and background noise. The main point for the adaption is the calculation of CAF which is extended in radial directions of CA,n for the whole image. All pixels would apply forces to CA,n, and the overall effect of forces would be equivalent to a force from the centroid of pixels to CA,n. The forces from would-be edge pixels would overweigh that from noisy pixels, so the following approximate circle would be of better fitting. To reduce the amount of calculation, pixels are only used in an annular area including the boundary of CA,n just in between for the calculation of CAF. Examples are given, showing the process of circle fitting of scattered points around a circle from an initial assuming circle, comparing the fitting results for scattered points from some related literature, applying the method proposed for circular edge detection in grayscale images with noise, and/or with only partial arc of a circle, and for circle detection in BGA inspection. 展开更多

Coal consumption curve of the thermal power plant can reflect the function relationship between the coal consumption of unit and load, which plays a key role for research on unit economic operation and load optimal dispatch. Now get coal consumption curve is generally obtained by least square method, but which are static curve and these curves remain unchanged for a long time, and make them are incompatible with the actual operation situation of the unit. Furthermore, coal consumption has the characteristics of typical nonlinear and time varying, sometimes the least square method does not work for nonlinear complex problems. For these problems, a method of coal consumption curve fitting of the thermal power plant units based on genetic algorithm is proposed. The residual analysis method is used for data detection;quadratic function is employed to the objective function;appropriate parameters such as initial population size, crossover rate and mutation rate are set;the unit’s actual coal consumption curves are fitted, and comparing the proposed method with least squares method, the results indicate that fitting effect of the former is better than the latter, and further indicate that the proposed method to do curve fitting can best approximate known data in a certain significance, and they can real-timely reflect the interdependence between power output and coal consumption. 展开更多

X射线光电子能谱(XPS)在锂离子电池镍钴锰酸锂(LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2),NCM)正极材料的分析中有着重要应用,然而NCM中Ni、Co、Mn过渡金属主峰与俄歇峰相互重叠使这三种元素的化学态识别和定量分析变得困难。以LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)为例,分析了XPS谱图中过渡金属主峰与俄歇峰的干扰问题,并提出一个基于非线性最小二乘拟合的算法对相互重叠时的过渡金属2p峰进行分峰拟合。通过比较不同化学态的Ni/Co/Mn参考样品,选取Ni(OH)_(2)、NiOOH、LiCoO_(2)、MnO_(2)作为拟合参考谱图。与常规的高斯/洛伦兹拟合方法相比,建立的非线性最小二乘拟合方法无需手动调整拟合参数,使得XPS谱图拟合过程不依赖于操作者,可重复性得到提高,并验证了这种拟合方法在NCM811正极材料XPS谱图分析中的有效应用,将过渡金属的主峰和其他元素的俄歇峰进行分离,为Ni、Co、Mn过渡金属主峰与俄歇峰相互重叠的化学态识别和定量分析难题提供了可参考的解决方案。 展开更多

中压配电线路的树枝碰线故障极易诱发森林火灾并造成严重安全事故,灵敏准确地识别树枝碰线故障对于保障供电安全和公共安全有重要意义。基于澳大利亚“植被引燃测试”的树枝碰线公开实验数据,针对树枝碰线引起的单相接地故障,在分析碰... 中压配电线路的树枝碰线故障极易诱发森林火灾并造成严重安全事故,灵敏准确地识别树枝碰线故障对于保障供电安全和公共安全有重要意义。基于澳大利亚“植被引燃测试”的树枝碰线公开实验数据,针对树枝碰线引起的单相接地故障,在分析碰线至树枝引燃全物理过程的基础上,发现95%以上树枝碰线故障在初期存在相似的阻抗渐变过程。树枝阻抗因放电升温呈现双指数衰减特性,并进一步提出基于双指数曲线拟合的阻抗渐变特性检测识别方法。基于PSCAD/EMTDC仿真数据、公开实验数据集和真型实验测试数据对所提方法进行验证。结果表明,所提方法可适用于不同中性点接地方式、不同类型树种的快速准确识别,为树枝碰线故障识别提供了新的思路。 展开更多
