First, through Gabor wavelet transform (GWT), a kind of energy distribution of image is obtained and checkpoints are selected according to a probability decision approach proposed. Then, the initialized motion vectors are obtained via a hierarcbal block-matching based on these checkpoints. Finally, by employing a 3-parameter motion model, precise parameters of global motion are found. From the experiment, the algorithm is reliable and robust. 展开更多

In this paper,we propose a new image fusion algorithm based on two-dimensional Scale-Mixing Complex Wavelet Transform(2D-SMCWT).The fusion of the detail 2D-SMCWT cofficients is performed via a Bayesian Maximum a Posteriori(MAP)approach by considering a trivariate statistical model for the local neighboring of 2D-SMCWT coefficients.For the approx imation coefficients,a new fusion rule based on the Principal Component Analysis(PCA)is applied.We conduct several experiments using three different groups of multimodal medical images to evaluate the performance of the proposed method.The obt ained results prove the superiority of the proposed method over the state of the art fusion methods in terms of visual quality and several commonly used metrics.Robustness of the proposed method is further tested against different types of noise.The plots of fusion met rics establish the accuracy of the proposed fusion method. 展开更多

The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) Standard 421M, commonly known as VC-1, is a state-of-the-art video compression format that provides highly competitive video quality, from very low through very high bit rates, at a reasonable computational complexity. First, this paper presents fast motion compensation methods. The four motion estimation methods examined are fast, three step search, varying diamond, and 2D logarithmic. These methods use less search points than the full spiral scan used in the VC-1 reference software, which allows for faster motion estimation. Second, this paper presents a residual texture based choice of the block size for the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). To determine the block size, data is examined after the residual texture has been calculated. This is in contrast to the VC-1 reference software, which uses calculations at the block level to determine the block size. The residual texture of each block is small and uniform, allowing for simplified block choices. 展开更多

Different series of echoes properties are not identified when incident angle is unknown. This article investigates variations in target echoes of monostatic sonar to address this problem. The mother wavelet with similar structures has been proposed on the basis of preprocessing signal waveform using matched filter, and the theoretical expressions between delay factor and incident angle are derived in the wavelet domain. Analysis of simulation data and experimental results in free-field pool show that this method can effectively separate geometrical scattering components of target echoes. The time delay estimation obtained from geometrical echoes at a single angle is consistent with target geometrical features, which provides a basis for object recognition without angle information. The findings provide valuable insights for analyzing elastic scattering echoes in actual ocean environment. 展开更多

This paper presents a novel technique for embedding a digital watermark into video frames based on motion vectors and discrete wavelet transform (DWT). In the proposed scheme, the binary image watermark is divided into blocks and each watermark block is embedded several times in each selected video frame at different locations. The block-based motion estimation algorithm is used to select the video frame blocks having the greatest motion vectors magnitude. The DWT is applied to the selected frame blocks, and then, the watermark block is hidden into these blocks by modifying the coefficients of the Horizontal sub-bands (HL). Adding the watermark at different locations in the same video frame makes the scheme more robust against different types of attacks. The method was tested on different types of videos. The average peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and the normalized correlation (NC) are used to measure the performance of the proposed method. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm does not affect the visual quality of video frames and the scheme is robust against a variety of attacks. 展开更多

Currently,Doppler weather radar in China is generally used for quantitative precipitation estimation(QPE)based on the Z–R relationship.However,the estimation error for mixed precipitation is very large.In order to improve the accuracy of radar QPE,we propose a dynamic radar QPE algorithm with a 6-min interval that uses the reflectivity data of Doppler radar Z9002 in the Shanghai Qingpu District and the precipitation data at automatic weather stations(AWSs)in East China.Considering the time dependence and abrupt changes of precipitation,the data during the previous 30-min period were selected as the training data.To reduce the complexity of radar QPE,we transformed the weather data into the wavelet domain by means of the stationary wavelet transform(SWT)in order to extract high and low-frequency reflectivity and precipitation information.Using the wavelet coefficients,we constructed a support vector machine(SVM)at all scales to estimate the wavelet coefficient of precipitation.Ultimately,via inverse wavelet transformation,we obtained the estimated rainfall.By comparing the results of the proposed method(SWTSVM)with those of Z=300×R1.4,linear regression(LR),and SVM,we determined that the root mean square error(RMSE)of the SWT-SVM method was 0.54 mm per 6 min and the average Threat Score(TS)could exceed 40%with the exception of the downpour category,thus remaining at a high level.Generally speaking,the SWT-SVM method can effectively improve the accuracy of radar QPE and provide an auxiliary reference for actual meteorological operational forecasting. 展开更多

Moreover, a verysimple closure mechanism, approaching locally the solution by high-order polynomialsis provided by truncating the wavelet basis at fine scales. Furthermore, multiple description scalable coding (MDSC) is investigated, and novel MDSC schemes based on 3D wavelet coding are proposed, using the lifting imple- mentation of temporal filtering. The proposed MDSC schemes can avoid the mismatch problem in multiple description video coding, and have high scalability and robustness of video transmission. We apply complex Morlet wavelet transform to three polar motion data series,and derive quasi-instantaneous periods of the Chandler and annual wobble by differencing the wavelettransform results versus the scale factor, and then find their zero points. The results show thatthe mean periods of the Chandler (annual) wobble are 430.71+-1.07 (365.24+-0.11) and 432.71+-0.42(365.23+-0.18) mean solar days for the data sets of 1900-2001 and 1940-2001, respectively. Themaximum relative variation of the quasi-instantaneous period to the mean of the Chandler wobble isless than 1.5% during 1900-2001 (3%-5% during 1920-1940), and that of the annual wobble is less than1.6% during 1900-2001. Quasi-instantaneous and mean values of Q are also derived by using theenergy density―period profile of the Chandler wobble. An asymptotic value of Q = 36.7 is obtainedby fitting polynomial of exponential of σ^(-2) to the relationship between Q and σ during1940-2001. 展开更多

In this paper, a new mesh based algorithm is applied for motion estimation and compensation in the wavelet domain. The first major contribution of this work is the introduction of a new active mesh based method for motion estimation and compensation. The proposed algorithm is based on the mesh energy minimization with novel sets of energy functions. The proposed energy functions have appropriate features, which improve the accuracy of motion estimation and compensation algorithm. We employ the proposed motion estimation algorithm in two different manners for video compression. In the first approach, the proposed algorithm is employed for motion estimation of consecutive frames. In the second approach, the algorithm is applied for motion estimation and compensation in the wavelet sub-bands. The experimental results reveal that the incorporation of active mesh based motion-compensated temporal filtering into wavelet sub-bands significantly improves the distortion performance rate of the video compression. We also use a new wavelet coder for the coding of the 3D volume of coefficients based on the retained energy criteria. This coder gives the maximum retained energy in all sub-bands. The proposed algorithm was tested with some video sequences and the results showed that the use of the proposed active mesh method for motion compensation and its implementation in sub-bands yields significant improvement in PSNR performance. 展开更多

在生产生活中,运动模糊的存在增加了二维码(QR code)识别的难度。针对这一问题,提出一种基于模糊核估计和交替Transformer的QR code图像去运动模糊算法。首先,针对目前去运动模糊算法对中间退化过程缺少解释的问题,使用一个模糊核估计网... 在生产生活中,运动模糊的存在增加了二维码(QR code)识别的难度。针对这一问题,提出一种基于模糊核估计和交替Transformer的QR code图像去运动模糊算法。首先,针对目前去运动模糊算法对中间退化过程缺少解释的问题,使用一个模糊核估计网络(KEN)动态估计模糊核的形状和参数,并在将KEN的输出和原图做维纳滤波后,指导后续复原网络更好地去运动模糊;其次,针对基于窗口的Transformer捕捉全局特征的能力较弱,传统Transformer计算复杂度较高的问题,提出一个基于局部窗口的Transformer块(LTB)和基于全局轴的Transformer块(GTB)结合的交替Transformer模块(ATB),交替提取局部和全局的特征;最后,针对输入为单一尺度图像时模型无法处理不同层次模糊的问题,提出一个多尺度特征融合模块(MSFFB)。这样,模型能从多尺度输入图像提取特征,有效利用上下文信息,并更好地保留和恢复图像细节。在运动模糊QR code图像数据集上的实验结果表明,对于线性模糊核测试集,所提算法相较于复原效果第2名的Uformer(U-shaped Transformer)-B在峰值信噪比(PSNR)、结构相似度(SSIM)上分别提升了3.11%、1.23%;对于非线性模糊核测试集,所提算法相较于Uformer-B在PSNR和SSIM上分别提升了7.13%、2.19%,同时,在乘加累积操作量(MAC)上减少了77.22%,在所有对比算法中取得最优,在模型参数量(Param)上下降了83.5%。此外,采用YOLOv4和ZBar进行目标检测和识别实验,结果表明所提算法对提高QR code检测和识别效率具有一定实际意义。 展开更多

采用小波变换的空间外差干涉图误差分析方法

空间外差光谱技术(SHS)是一种应用于微弱物质探测、行星勘探以及大气遥感等领域的超光谱分析技术。受实验环境复杂及被测目标信号微弱等因素的影响,空间外差光谱仪的测量结果易出现干涉条纹倾斜、干涉图有斑点噪声等情况,从而最终影响... 空间外差光谱技术(SHS)是一种应用于微弱物质探测、行星勘探以及大气遥感等领域的超光谱分析技术。受实验环境复杂及被测目标信号微弱等因素的影响,空间外差光谱仪的测量结果易出现干涉条纹倾斜、干涉图有斑点噪声等情况,从而最终影响测量光谱的精度。为了尝试解决这些问题,提出了基于小波变换的干涉图误差分析方法,对干涉图的斑点噪声水平和条纹倾斜误差进行有效的评价,从而为后续误差校正提供理论基础。首先对无误差的钾灯仿真干涉图加入不同标准差的高斯噪声,利用小波分解提取复小波系数,采用三种噪声估计法对干涉图数据进行计算,结果表明空域相关小波变换法噪声估计结果与真实值偏差最小,而Donoho估计法在修正截距后与真实值具有更好的吻合度。随后采用Db2小波对噪声水平不同的仿真钾灯干涉图进行一层小波分解并提取水平、对角及垂直三个方向的细节系数,采用Donoho估计法对干涉图进行二维噪声分析,有效表征了三幅干涉图各方向上的噪声水平特征。最后对仿真连续光干涉图进行小波分解并提取系数分析,研究了干涉条纹倾斜角度与小波分解系数的关系。研究结果表明,三个方向的小波细节系数估值变化分别在分解到不同层数时具有相似的变化规律:小波细节系数估值与条纹倾斜方向和小波细节系数的所属方向的夹角成反比,条纹倾斜方向与该小波细节系数的方向夹角越小,估值越大,反之则越小,且水平方向分解到第一层、对角方向分解到第二层、垂直方向分解到第三层符合变化规律。该研究是利用小波分解进行空间外差光谱误差分析的有益尝试,也为后续干涉图条纹倾斜误差的校正提供了一种新途径。 展开更多

Motion JPEG2000(MJPEG2000)作为新兴的视频压缩标准,鲁棒传输控制是一个重要的应用需求,而误码掩饰技术是提高其鲁棒性的有效途径之一。充分利用压缩码流冗余信息,本文提出了一种基于运动预测的Motion JPEG2000视频传输误码掩饰新算法。首先利用相邻帧及帧内子带间的相关性进行小波域内的运动估计,以低频子带内码块的运动矢量来预测高频子带内丢失码块的运动矢量,再通过运动匹配修复丢失的码块。而低频子带内数据块的丢失可通过整个高频子带图像完成运动估计,得到预测信息对低频子带系数实施误码掩饰。仿真实验结果表明,提出的算法不管在低频还是高频子带进行误码掩饰修复,均能得到较好的图像帧重建效果。 展开更多

现有基于Transformer的目标跟踪算法未充分利用Transformer的长距离依赖属性,导致算法提取的特征判别性不足,跟踪稳定性较差。为提高孪生网络目标跟踪算法在复杂场景中的跟踪能力,结合卷积与Transformer的优势,提出目标跟踪算法CTTrack... 现有基于Transformer的目标跟踪算法未充分利用Transformer的长距离依赖属性,导致算法提取的特征判别性不足,跟踪稳定性较差。为提高孪生网络目标跟踪算法在复杂场景中的跟踪能力,结合卷积与Transformer的优势,提出目标跟踪算法CTTrack。在特征提取方面,利用卷积丰富的局部信息和Transformer的长距离依赖属性,以卷积和窗口注意力串联的方式和层次化的结构构建一个通用的目标跟踪骨干网络CTFormer。在特征融合方面,利用互注意力机制构建特征互增强与聚合网络以简化网络结构,加快跟踪速度。在搜索区域选择方面,结合目标运动速度估计,设计自适应调整搜索区域的跟踪策略。实验结果表明,CTTrack在GOT-10k数据集上的平均重叠度为70.3%,相比基于Transformer的跟踪算法TransT和TrDiMP均提高3.2个百分点,在UAV123数据集上的曲线下面积为71.1%,相比TransT和TrDiMP分别提高2.0个百分点和3.6个百分点。在TrackingNet、LaSOT、OTB2015、NFS数据集上分别取得82.1%、66.8%、70.1%、66.3%的曲线下面积,并能以43帧/s的速度进行实时跟踪。 展开更多
