Optimizing distribution of multiple tuned mass dampers for building structures with inverse element exchange method

Multiple tuned mass dampers(MTMDs)reduce dynamic response with multiple specified frequencies of building structures.Many optimization algorithms for placement design exist,though they rarely conform to code-based verification nor produce high quality solutions without high computational effort and high complexity.This study proposes an inverse element exchange method(IEEM)with multi-level programming and compares it to a single tuned mass damper(STMD)and uniform distribution of multiple tuned mass dampers in the frequency and time domains.A ten-story shear building is used for the numerical case study.The results show that the proposed method can offer improvement over the STMD,uniform distribution of multiple tuned mass dampers,and distribution optimized by genetic algorithms(GA)with regard to minimizing the interstory drift ratio(IDR)in both the frequency and time domains and the time consumption for optimization. 展开更多

With the rapid development of large megawatt wind turbines,the operation environment of wind turbine towers(WTTs)has become increasingly complex.In particular,seismic excitation can create a resonance response and cause excessive vibration of the WTT.To investigate the vibration attenuation performance of the WTT under seismic excitations,a novel passive vibration control device,called a prestressed tuned mass damper(PS-TMD),is presented in this study.First,a mathematical model is established based on structural dynamics under seismic excitation.Then,the mathematical analytical expression of the dynamic coefficient is deduced,and the parameter design method is obtained by system tuning optimization.Next,based on a theoretical analysis and parameter design,the numerical results showed that the PS-TMD was able to effectively mitigate the resonance under the harmonic basal acceleration.Finally,the time-history analysis method is used to verify the effectiveness of the traditional pendulum tuned mass damper(PTMD)and the novel PS-TMD device,and the results indicate that the vibration attenuation performance of the PS-TMD is better than the PTMD.In addition,the PS-TMD avoids the nonlinear effect due to the large oscillation angle,and has the potential to dissipate hysteretic energy under seismic excitation. 展开更多

In conventional isochronous mass spectrometry(IMS)performed on a storage ring,the precision of mass measurements for short-lived nuclei depends on the accurate determination of the revolution times(T)of stored ions.However,the resolution of T inevitably deteriorates due to the magnetic rigidity spread of the ions,limiting the mass-resolving power.In this study,we used the betatron tunes Q(the number of betatron oscillations per revolution)of the ions and established a correlation between T and Q.From this correlation,T was transformed to correspond to a fixed Q with higher resolution.Using these transformed T values,the masses of ^(63)Ge,^(65)As,^(67)Se,and ^(71)Kr agreed well with the mass values measured using the newly developed IMS(Bρ-IMS).We also studied the systematics of Coulomb displacement energies(CDEs)and found that anomalous staggering in CDEs was eliminated using new mass values.This method of T transformation is highly effective for conventional IMS equipped with a single time-of-flight detector. 展开更多

In this paper,we introduce a novel Multi-scale and Auto-tuned Semi-supervised Deep Subspace Clustering(MAS-DSC)algorithm,aimed at addressing the challenges of deep subspace clustering in high-dimensional real-world data,particularly in the field of medical imaging.Traditional deep subspace clustering algorithms,which are mostly unsupervised,are limited in their ability to effectively utilize the inherent prior knowledge in medical images.Our MAS-DSC algorithm incorporates a semi-supervised learning framework that uses a small amount of labeled data to guide the clustering process,thereby enhancing the discriminative power of the feature representations.Additionally,the multi-scale feature extraction mechanism is designed to adapt to the complexity of medical imaging data,resulting in more accurate clustering performance.To address the difficulty of hyperparameter selection in deep subspace clustering,this paper employs a Bayesian optimization algorithm for adaptive tuning of hyperparameters related to subspace clustering,prior knowledge constraints,and model loss weights.Extensive experiments on standard clustering datasets,including ORL,Coil20,and Coil100,validate the effectiveness of the MAS-DSC algorithm.The results show that with its multi-scale network structure and Bayesian hyperparameter optimization,MAS-DSC achieves excellent clustering results on these datasets.Furthermore,tests on a brain tumor dataset demonstrate the robustness of the algorithm and its ability to leverage prior knowledge for efficient feature extraction and enhanced clustering performance within a semi-supervised learning framework. 展开更多

In order to improve the seismic performance of adjacent buildings,two types of tuned inerter damper(TID)damping systems for adjacent buildings are proposed,which are composed of springs,inerter devices and dampers in serial or in parallel.The dynamic equations of TID adjacent building damping systems were derived,and the H2 norm criterion was used to optimize and adjust them,so that the system had the optimum damping performance under white noise random excitation.Taking TID frequency ratio and damping ratio as optimization parameters,the optimum analytical solutions of the displacement frequency response of the undamped structure under white noise excitation were obtained.The results showed that compared with the classic TMD,TID could obtain a better damping effect in the adjacent buildings.Comparing the TIDs composed of serial or parallel,it was found that the parallel TIDs had more significant advantages in controlling the peak displacement frequency response,while the H2 norm of the displacement frequency response of the damping system under the coupling of serial TID was smaller.Taking the adjacent building composed of two ten-story frame structures as an example,the displacement and energy collection time history analysis of the adjacent building coupled with the optimum design parameter TIDs were carried out.It was found that TID had a better damping effect in the full-time range compared with the classic TMD.This paper also studied the potential power of TID in adjacent buildings,which can be converted into available power resources during earthquakes. 展开更多

Dynamic impacts such as wind and earthquakes cause loss of life and economic damage.To ensure safety against these effects,various measures have been taken from past to present and solutions have been developed using different technologies.Tall buildings are more susceptible to vibrations such as wind and earthquakes.Therefore,vibration control has become an important issue in civil engineering.This study optimizes tuned mass damper inerter(TMDI)using far-fault ground motion records.This study derives the optimum parameters of TMDI using the Adaptive Harmony Search algorithm.Structure displacement and total acceleration against earthquake load are analyzed to assess the performance of the TMDI system.The effect of the inerter when connected to different floors is observed,and the results are compared to the conventional tuned mass damper(TMD).It is indicated that the case of connecting the inerter force to the 5th floor gives better results.As a result,TMD and TMDI systems reduce the displacement by 21.87%and 25.45%,respectively,and the total acceleration by 25.45%and 19.59%,respectively.These percentage reductions indicated that the structure resilience against dynamic loads can be increased using control systems. 展开更多

Classification of Conversational Sentences Using an Ensemble Pre-Trained Language Model with the Fine-Tuned Parameter

Sentence classification is the process of categorizing a sentence based on the context of the sentence.Sentence categorization requires more semantic highlights than other tasks,such as dependence parsing,which requires more syntactic elements.Most existing strategies focus on the general semantics of a conversation without involving the context of the sentence,recognizing the progress and comparing impacts.An ensemble pre-trained language model was taken up here to classify the conversation sentences from the conversation corpus.The conversational sentences are classified into four categories:information,question,directive,and commission.These classification label sequences are for analyzing the conversation progress and predicting the pecking order of the conversation.Ensemble of Bidirectional Encoder for Representation of Transformer(BERT),Robustly Optimized BERT pretraining Approach(RoBERTa),Generative Pre-Trained Transformer(GPT),DistilBERT and Generalized Autoregressive Pretraining for Language Understanding(XLNet)models are trained on conversation corpus with hyperparameters.Hyperparameter tuning approach is carried out for better performance on sentence classification.This Ensemble of Pre-trained Language Models with a Hyperparameter Tuning(EPLM-HT)system is trained on an annotated conversation dataset.The proposed approach outperformed compared to the base BERT,GPT,DistilBERT and XLNet transformer models.The proposed ensemble model with the fine-tuned parameters achieved an F1_score of 0.88. 展开更多

研究了板式电涡流阻尼单元(planar eddy current damper,PECD)的阻尼特性随平面振动方向的变化规律。首先,推导了PECD发生相对平移运动时电涡流阻尼力的理论计算公式,发现PECD相对平移运动产生的电涡流阻尼力并不一定与速度方向完全相反... 研究了板式电涡流阻尼单元(planar eddy current damper,PECD)的阻尼特性随平面振动方向的变化规律。首先,推导了PECD发生相对平移运动时电涡流阻尼力的理论计算公式,发现PECD相对平移运动产生的电涡流阻尼力并不一定与速度方向完全相反,其在平面直角坐标系上的2个分量可由一个2×2的平面阻尼系数矩阵与相对速度向量的乘积唯一确定。其次,分别选取4种典型永磁阵列的PECD,采用电磁有限元方法计算了它们的平面阻尼系数矩阵和阻尼力随速度方向的变化,验证了上述阻尼力理论计算公式的正确性,并提出了PECD的等效阻尼系数概念。然后,针对等效阻尼系数各向同性的PECD,在保证永磁体高度和投影面积不变的条件下,分析了其阻尼系数随永磁体数量和永磁体行、列间距的变化规律。最后,开展了阻尼系数各向同性PECD的阻尼系数测试试验,进一步验证了理论分析和有限元仿真的正确性。 展开更多

随着煤矿开采深度的不断增加,煤与瓦斯突出的风险也逐渐增大,构造煤发育是煤与瓦斯突出的重要原因,合理预测构造煤对于煤矿资源安全开采具有重要意义.为了准确划分构造煤,从正演的角度出发,首先分析双层单界面情况下构造煤和原生煤的AV... 随着煤矿开采深度的不断增加,煤与瓦斯突出的风险也逐渐增大,构造煤发育是煤与瓦斯突出的重要原因,合理预测构造煤对于煤矿资源安全开采具有重要意义.为了准确划分构造煤,从正演的角度出发,首先分析双层单界面情况下构造煤和原生煤的AVO响应特征,其次建立更加符合实际情况的三层双界面模型,研究截距与梯度随煤层厚度及煤层顶底板岩性的变化规律,最后对寺河矿区3#煤层构造煤进行了预测.结果表明,在调谐效应的影响下难以直接利用截距和梯度圈定构造煤,通过校正截距与梯度可以消除煤层厚度变化对AVO属性的影响,进而实现构造煤与原生煤的有效划分.因此,依据校正后的截距和梯度值可以准确预测构造煤发育区,为防治煤与瓦斯突出提供地质理论依据. 展开更多

基于颗粒阻尼理论的海上风机减振甲板特性研究

当前,海上风电正朝“大容量、高塔筒、长叶片”的方向发展,在复杂海洋环境影响下,更加柔性的海上风机容易引发结构超限振动或疲劳振动问题,对海上风电场的安全运行带来严峻挑战。引入颗粒阻尼理论解决海上风机的振动控制问题。首先,充... 当前,海上风电正朝“大容量、高塔筒、长叶片”的方向发展,在复杂海洋环境影响下,更加柔性的海上风机容易引发结构超限振动或疲劳振动问题,对海上风电场的安全运行带来严峻挑战。引入颗粒阻尼理论解决海上风机的振动控制问题。首先,充分考虑风机内部空间布局与限制要求,提出了一种新型的减振颗粒甲板(VR-PD)结构形式;其次,建立了有限元与离散元(FEM-DEM)耦合的海上风机单自由度模型,并分别从颗粒的阻塞性和非阻塞性、颗粒半径和数量、腔体尺寸和颗粒叠加层数、腔体边壁倒角、颗粒质量比、结构自振周期等六方面进行VR-PD的减振特性研究;最后,建立了等质量的调谐质量阻尼器(TMD)模型,考虑急停工况、停机工况和地震工况对两者减振效果进行对比。结果显示:VR-PD最多可提升阻尼比70.6%、多降低12.9%的振动位移和9.5%的振动加速度,VR-PD不仅减振效果优于TMD,而且可以更好地适应海上风机的内部空间,具有很好的工程实用性。 展开更多

大语言模型的兴起对自然语言处理领域产生了深远影响.随着计算资源的增长和模型规模的扩大,大语言模型在自然语言处理中的应用潜力日益显现.然而,广泛使用的低秩适应微调方法在面对模型规模增大时,遇到了微调效率和存储成本等方面的挑战... 大语言模型的兴起对自然语言处理领域产生了深远影响.随着计算资源的增长和模型规模的扩大,大语言模型在自然语言处理中的应用潜力日益显现.然而,广泛使用的低秩适应微调方法在面对模型规模增大时,遇到了微调效率和存储成本等方面的挑战.为了解决这一问题,本文提出了一种基于奇异值分解的适应微调方法.该方法只需将奇异值分解得到的对角矩阵和缩放向量作为可训练参数,从而在降低训练成本的同时,实现了在多个自然语言处理任务上的性能提升.实验结果显示,基于奇异值分解的适应微调方法在GLUE和E2E基准测试中的性能超越了同等数量级的方法.通过与常用的参数高效微调方法进行比较,发现基于奇异值分解的适应微调方法在减少可训练参数数量和提高微调效率方面具有显著优势,并在可训练参数微调效率实验中实现了最高的性能增益.在未来的研究中,将专注于进一步优化基于奇异值分解的适应微调方法,在更广泛的任务和更大规模的模型中实现更高效的微调. 展开更多

为解决样本稀少对大语言模型(LLM)在燃气事故调查报告中的实体识别精度影响显著的问题,提出1种基于两阶段训练的大语言模型实体识别方法。在数据集构建阶段,LLM根据对话式指令微调模板自动生成燃气事故调查报告数据集,采用简单数据增强(... 为解决样本稀少对大语言模型(LLM)在燃气事故调查报告中的实体识别精度影响显著的问题,提出1种基于两阶段训练的大语言模型实体识别方法。在数据集构建阶段,LLM根据对话式指令微调模板自动生成燃气事故调查报告数据集,采用简单数据增强(EDA)技术扩充人工标注的关键样本;在模型微调训练阶段,采用低秩适配微调技术对Phi3-mini-128k模型进行微调训练,第1阶段微调训练利用LLM自动标注数据集,在训练基础上利用增强数据集对模型进行第2阶段微调训练。研究结果表明:经过第1阶段微调训练后,Phi3-mini-rq模型的实体识别综合评价指标提高11.01百分点;当EDA增强数据占总数据的50%时,模型第2阶段微调效果最佳,综合评价指标值进一步提升2.49百分点。研究结果可为燃气领域的事故报告自动化处理提供有效技术支持。 展开更多

基于AMCDE优化RBF神经网络的PID参数整定研究

针对工业过程中PID(proportional integral derivative)参数整定难的问题,提出一种带有存储机制的自适应变异交叉策略差分进化算法(adaptive mutation crossover strategy differential evolution algorithm with storage mechanism,AMC... 针对工业过程中PID(proportional integral derivative)参数整定难的问题,提出一种带有存储机制的自适应变异交叉策略差分进化算法(adaptive mutation crossover strategy differential evolution algorithm with storage mechanism,AMCDE)的神经网络算法RBF(radial basis function)整定PID控制器参数。首先,在差分进化算法(differential evolution algorithm,DE)中引入带有存储机制的策略,对种群的个体进行实时排序,充分利用当前种群的方向信息和搜索状态;其次,通过引入自适应变异交叉策略,实现自适应调整变异交叉概率因子,有效地避免种群在迭代后期陷入局部最优解;再次,采用AMCDE算法优化RBF的初始参数,接着由RBF在线辨识得到梯度信息;最后,根据梯度信息对PID的3个参数进行在线调整。仿真实验和某乳制品公司的加热炉温度控制实验表明:与IDE-RBF-PID、GODE-RBF-PID和MCOBDE-RBF-PID相比,AMCDE-RBF-PID控制器的调节时间分别降低了62.6%、55.3%、53.6%,超调量分别降低了79.3%、66.4%、64.7%,抗干扰性能分别提高了42.5%、15.3%、14.8%,控制精度分别提高了35.6%、12.3%、11.2%。由上述结果可知:AMCDE-RBF-PID控制器的动态性能更好,抗干扰性能更强,控制精度更高。 展开更多
