When the radio frequency identification(RFID)system inventories multiple tags,the recognition rate will be seriously affected due to collisions.Based on the existing dynamic frame slotted Aloha(DFSA)algorithm,a sub-frame observation and cyclic redundancy check(CRC)grouping combined dynamic framed slotted Aloha(SUBF-CGDFSA)algorithm is proposed.The algorithm combines the precise estimation method of the quantity of large-scale tags,the large-scale tags grouping mechanism based on CRC pseudo-randomcharacteristics,and the Aloha anti-collision optimization mechanism based on sub-frame observation.By grouping tags and sequentially identifying themwithin subframes,it accurately estimates the number of remaining tags and optimizes frame length accordingly to improve efficiency in large-scale RFID systems.Simulation outcomes demonstrate that this proposed algorithmcan effectively break through the system throughput bottleneck of 36.8%,which is up to 30%higher than the existing DFSA standard scheme,and has more significant advantages,which is suitable for application in largescale RFID tags scenarios. 展开更多

Background:The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of marking meth-ods on the outcomes of body composition analysis and provide guidance for the se-lection of marking methods in mouse body composition analysis.Methods:Male C57BL/6J mice aged 6 weeks were randomly assigned for pre-and post-ear tagging measurements.The body composition of the mice was measured using a small animal body composition analyzer,which provided measurements of the mass of fat,lean,and free fluid.Then,the mass of fat,lean and free fluid to body weight ratio was gained.Further data analysis was conducted to obtain the range and coeffi-cient of variation in body composition measurements for each mouse.The distribution of fat and lean tissue in the mice was also analyzed by comparing the fat-to-lean ratio.Results:(1)The mass of all body composition components in the ear tagging group was significantly lower than that in the control group.(2)There was a significant in-crease in the range and coefficient of variation of body composition measurements between the ear tagging group and the control group.(3)The fat-to-lean ratio in the ear tagging group was significantly lower than that in the control group.Conclusions:Ear tagging significantly lowered the results of body composition analy-sis in mice and higher the results of measurement error.Therefore,ear tagging should be avoided as much as possible when conducting body composition analysis experi-ments in mice. 展开更多

As part of ITEC (International Triteace EST cooperation), EST (expressed sequence tags) technique was used to explore the gene expression in leaf induced by Erysiphe graminis DC. A conventional cDNA library was constructed, and a total of 1 500 clones picked randomly from the library were sequenced, three hundred and eighty_seven ESTs of them were unique, which got the Accession Number in GenBank. About 49.4% ESTs showed significant similarity to functions of known sequences in GenBank. There are 196 ESTs' with functions not able to be determined, and eighty_four ESTs were demonstrated to be novel sequences. High_density dot membranes from unique clones were produced, and several disease resistance related genes were screened by differential hybridization. 展开更多

为明确粒重基因TaGS5-A1的育种应用价值,利用竞争性等位基因特异性PCR(KASP)标记对119个不同遗传背景的黄淮麦区小麦品种进行TaGS5-A1基因等位变异检测,并结合3年2点6个环境的农艺性状表型数据,比较携带等位基因TaGS5-A1a和TaGS5-A1b的... 为明确粒重基因TaGS5-A1的育种应用价值,利用竞争性等位基因特异性PCR(KASP)标记对119个不同遗传背景的黄淮麦区小麦品种进行TaGS5-A1基因等位变异检测,并结合3年2点6个环境的农艺性状表型数据,比较携带等位基因TaGS5-A1a和TaGS5-A1b的品种千粒重、粒长、粒宽、株高、穗长和穗下节长等性状。结果表明,检测品种中有91个含TaGS5-A1b等位基因,分布频率为76.5%,有28个含TaGS5-A1a等位基因,分布频率为23.5%;在6个环境下含TaGS5-A1b品种的千粒重(43.4 g)和粒宽(3.4 mm)均极显著高于含TaGS5-A1a等位基因的品种,增幅分别为6.6%和3.0%,而含TaGS5-A1b等位基因品种的株高显著低于含TaGS5-A1a等位基因的品种,降幅为6.6%,含不同等位基因品种的粒长、穗长、穗下节长均无显著差异;安徽、河南、山东、陕西和河北5省检测材料中TaGS5-A1b优异等位变异的分布频率分别为100%、88.1%、81.8%、66.7%和66.7%。本研究为黄淮麦区小麦粒重分子育种提供了材料和高通量的功能标记。 展开更多

Relationship between scores and tags for Chinese books—In the case of Douban Book

Purpose:Currently,social tagging behavior,including social tag,online review and score information,has been investigated extensively,however,there are very few works about the relationship among them.In this paper,we have investigated the problem using Douban Website as the research object.Design/methodology/approach:Firstly,we divided social tags into those with high and low frequency counts,respectively,divided books into popular and unpopular books according to books’popularity,and chose core tags in terms of distribution;Secondly,we conducted an investigation on the relationship between social tags and books scores including comprehensive analyses and assorted analyses.Findings:The more popular the books become,the higher scores they will get.Tag frequency is not related with book scores directly,and neither does the tag distribution weight.Tags in books of'fashion'category are relatively disordered,which may associate with books miscellany and readers diversity.Research limitations:Social tags are growing dramatically,strategies and researches to this respect are just experimental exploration.Open source books,data and educational resources are not consummate.Comparative studies are necessary,but the result may be affected by researches based on data analyses.In addition,this research has been conducted only on one website,namely Douban,and the tags provided by Douban Book are not complete.All these factors could influence the versatility of the results.Practical implications:There are very a few studies that have been conducted on the relationship between tags and scores,and this research could bring a certain practical significance to popular books prediction and tags’quality research.Originality/value:Less attention has been paid to Chinese books while analyzing relationship between scores and tags of user generated content.Analyses based on the Chinese books may fill in the gap of better understanding the relationship between the two objects. 展开更多

Zostera marina, a monocotyledonous angiosperm, is one of the most important seagrass species. To inves- tigate the salt-tolerance mechanism and discover salt-tolerant genes in Z. marina, a cDNA library was con- structed. Single-pass sequencing of the 5' ends of 4 081 clones yielded 4 002 high quality expressed sequence tags (ESTs), which were assembled into 241 contigs and 1 673 singletons, representing 1 914 unigenes. The average length of the ESTs was 582 bp, with sizes ranging from 100-1 500 bp. Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLASTX) analysis revealed that 1 664 unigenes had significant homology to known genes in the Na- tional Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) non-redundant (nr) database (E-value≤5-10). Among them, the two most abundant genes encoded metallothionein (157 ESTs) and chlorophyll a/b-binding pro- tein (38 ESTs), accounting for 7.1% and 1.7% of the total ESTs, respectively. Using Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG), 1 462 unigenes were assigned to 1 161 pathways (E-value≤5-10). A total of 938 unigenes were assigned Gene Ontology (GO) terms based on the GO hierarchy analysis, and InterProScan searches recognized 1 003 InterPro families. Three genes for metallothionein in Z. marina that belonged to Class II was identified. Results of this study will improve understanding of the molecular mechanisms of saline tolerance in Z. marina. 展开更多

However, no studi... Kai-Xin-San consists of Ginseng Radix, Polygalae Radix, Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma, and Poria at a ratio of 3:3:2:2. Kai-Xin-San has been widely used for the treatment of emotional disorders in China. However, no studies have identified the key proteins implicated in response to Kai-Xin-San treatment. In this study, rat models of chronic mild stress were established using different stress methods over 28 days. After 14 days of stress stimulation, rats received daily intragastric administrations of 600 mg/kg Kai-Xin-San. The sucrose preference test was used to determine depression-like behavior in rats, while isobaric tags were used for relative and absolute quantitation-based proteomics to identify altered proteins following Kai-Xin-San treatment. Kai-Xin-San treatment for 2 weeks noticeably improved depression-like behaviors in rats with chronic mild stress. We identified 33 differentially expressed proteins: 7 were upregulated and 26 were downregulated. Functional analysis showed that these differentially expressed proteins participate in synaptic plasticity, neurodevelopment, and neurogenesis. Our results indicate that Kai-Xin-San has an important role in regulating the key node proteins in the synaptic signaling network, and are helpful to better understand the mechanism of the antidepressive effects of Kai-Xin-San and to provide objective theoretical support for its clinical application. Sensory and motor nerve fibers of peripheral nerves have different anatomies and regeneration functions after injury. To gain a clear understanding of the biological processes behind these differences, we used a labeling technique termed isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation to investigate the protein profiles of spinal nerve tissues from Sprague-Dawley rats. In response to Wallerian degeneration, a total of 626 proteins were screened in sensory nerves, of which 368 were upregulated and 258 were downregulated. In addition, 637 proteins were screened in motor nerves, of which 372 were upregulated and 265 were downregulated. All identified proteins were analyzed using the Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis of bioinformatics, and the presence of several key proteins closely related to Wallerian degeneration were tested and verified using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analyses. The differentially expressed proteins only identified in the sensory nerves were mainly relevant to various biological processes that included cell-cell adhesion, carbohydrate metabolic processes and cell adhesion, whereas differentially expressed proteins only identified in the motor nerves were mainly relevant to biological processes associated with the glycolytic process, cell redox homeostasis, and protein folding. In the aspect of the cellular component, the differentially expressed proteins in the sensory and motor nerves were commonly related to extracellular exosomes, the myelin sheath, and focal adhesion. According to the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes, the differentially expressed proteins identified are primarily related to various types of metabolic pathways. In conclusion, the present study screened differentially expressed proteins to reveal more about the differences and similarities between sensory and motor nerves during Wallerian degeneration. The present findings could provide a reference point for a future investigation into the differences between sensory and motor nerves in Wallerian degeneration and the characteristics of peripheral nerve regeneration. The TaGS3 homoeologous genes(homoeologs)located on chromosomes 7 A,4 A,and7 D in hexaploid wheat were cloned.Relative expression analysis of the three Ta GS3 homoeologs revealed that the expression levels of TaGS3-4 A and TaGS3-7 D in developing grains were higher than that of TaGS3-7 A.Genetic evidence showed that Ta GS3 was a negative regulator of grain weight and grain size.Fifteen polymorphic sites and five haplotypes were detected in TaGS3-4 A.Two molecular markers were developed to distinguish the five haplotypes.Association analysis using 260 accessions from Chinese wheat mini-core collection(MCC)indicated that TaGS3-4 A affected thousand grain weight(TGW)and grain length(GL).HAP-4 A-1 and HAP-4 A-2 were favorable haplotypes that increased TGW and GL and had undergone strong selection during domestication of wheat.In addition,interaction of the TaGS3-4 A and TaGS3-7 D homoeologs had significant additive effects on the grain traits.Hap-4 A-1/Hap-7 D-2 was the best haplotype combination in increasing TGW and GL.The frequencies and geographic distributions of favorable TaGS3 haplotypes among 1388 wheat accessions from worldwide sources provided clues for selection of yield-related traits.Our findings demonstrated that TaGS3-4 A had significant effects on TGW and GL.Marker-assisted selection of HAP-4 A-1/2 combined with HAP-7 D-2 has potential to increase wheat yields. 展开更多

A normalized full-length cDNA library was constructed from the coralloid roots of Cycas debaoensis by the DSN (duplex-specific nuclease) normalization method combined with the SMART (Switching Mechanism At 5' end of the RNA Transcript) technique. The titer of the original cDNA library was about 1.5 × 10^6 cfu·mL^-1 and the average insertion size was about 1 kb with a high recombination rate (97%). The 5011 high-quality expressed sequence tags (ESTs) were obtained from 5393 randomly picked cDNA clones. Clustering and assembly of ESTs resulted in 2984 unique sequences, consisting of 618 contigs and 2366 singlets. EST sequence annotation revealed that 2333 and 1901 unigenes were functionally anno- tated in the NCBI non-redundant database and Swiss-Prot protein database, respectively. Functional analysis demonstrated that 1495 (50.1%) unigenes were associated with 4082 Gene Ontology (GO) terms. A total of 847 unigenes were grouped into 22 Cluster of Orthologous Groups (COG) functional categories. Based on the EST dataset, 22 ESTs that encoded putative receptor-like protein kinase (RLK) genes were screened. Furthermore, a total of 94 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) were discovered, of which 20 loci were successfully amplified in C debaoensis. This study is the first EST analysis for the coralloid roots of C debaoensis and provides a valuable genomic resource for novel gene discovery, gene expression and comparative genomics, conservation and management studies as well as applications in C debaoensis and related cycad species. 展开更多

Ripening of the grape berry is the key phase which determines the com- position of wine. To better understand the gene expression that manifest in V. amurensis berry skins during the ripening, cDNA library of V. amurensis berry skins was constructed. A total of 935 high quality ex- pressed sequence tags (ESTs) were obtained from the library. These ESTs represent 636 unigenes, including 108 contigs and 528 singletons. The EST analysis was performed and genes were assigned to functional categories according to their primary BLAST match. Of these 25.35% were involved with metabolism, 6.27% with cell rescue and defense, 6.84% energy, 11.68% protein synthesis, 18.8% protein activity regula- tion, 11.11% cell structure, 7.98% transport, 6.27% transcription and the remaining 5.7% were signal transduction. The generated ESTs were characterized by the gene ontology analysis and were categorized ac- cording to its cellular component, molecular function and biological process. In the cDNA library, some genes are relevant to the biosynthesis of anthocyanins, while some genes are related to grape berry maturation. 展开更多

铜麦6号苗期耐高铵与耐盐特性的鉴定及TaGS基因的表达模式分析

In order to study the expression of function gene and its effect on metabolic control and other physiological function in liver, 438 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) were determined, which were from a cD-NA library of porcine liver tissue. The results showed that the nucleotide sequences of 186 ESTs have already presented in GenBank database, and 37 ESTs could be found the homology with human and other species, while the others were not identified. 45 full length insertion of the clones randomly isolated from cDNA library were also completely sequenced with different size, and the results showed that 19 of them were function-known genes, 11 had no open reading frame ( ORF )at all and 15 had ORF but the function were not elucidated yet. 展开更多

How to retrieve tags from the huge tag library becomes a hot topic to research. Firstly,the existing systems of social tags and its recommendation principles used in Web 2. 0 are introduced in this paper. Secondly,the existing techniques about tag recommendation are summarized,and their merits and demerits are analysed. In most techniques for tag recommendation only two dimensions "resource-user " are considered. But there are three dimensions "resource-user-tag " in recommendation system based on social tags. A new method of social tag recommendation based on content-Feature Vote Tagging ( FVT) is proposed in this paper. Finally,several kinds of evaluation methods are used to assess the return results of methods. The experiment results show that the method proposed in this paper can satisfy the expectation of the user for the recommendation results. 展开更多

In the radio frequency identification (RFID) system based on surface acoustic wave (SAW) technique, some tags often locate in the field of a transceiver at the same time. These tags produce simultaneous echo signals which "collide" when they arrive back at the transceiver, which leads to difficult identification. In this paper, smart antenna technique is presented to implement anti-collision in SAW RFID system. The direction of arrivals (DOAs) are used to denote the locations of tags, and genetic algorithm (GA) is suggested to find the optimal estimates of the DOAs in complex multimodal search spaces. Once the DOAs are obtained, the array weights are formed and the signals of tags are recovered to implement decoding. The experimental results show that the GA-based smart antenna technique works well in some occasions. 展开更多
