Lead zirconate titanate(PSN-PZT) is widely utilized in various areas based on its desirable piezoelectrical properties and stable performance.In order to further improve its electrical properties,the ceramic samples,w...Lead zirconate titanate(PSN-PZT) is widely utilized in various areas based on its desirable piezoelectrical properties and stable performance.In order to further improve its electrical properties,the ceramic samples,which have been prepared by traditional solid-state sintering,then are re-heated by strong laser beam.Phase composition and micro-structure have been characterized through XRD,SEM and TEM.Also,Quasi-static d_(33) tester and the capacitance tester have been introduced for measuring electrical performances.The experimental results indicate that the ceramic samples are with more amount percentage tetragonal phase after laser re-heating.Cracks could be induced and initialized by higher input laser intensity.TEM results suggested that,when the input laser power is at 1000 W,tetragonal and rhombohedral phases are co-existed and the ceramic samples are with the best electrical properties.The ceramics heated by power of 1000 W present excellent electric properties,d_(33) increased 24.8%,and tanS decreased 9%,which is distinguish advance compared with original ceramics in solid reaction.展开更多

The effect of sintering temperature on the microstructu...PSN-PZN-PZT + x wt. %Cr2O3, X = 0.0-0-9, were prepared by conventional mixed oxide techniques at sintering temperatures of 1220 degrees C-1300 degrees C for 2 h. The effect of sintering temperature on the microstructure and the piezoelectric properties was investigated by XRD, SEM, and other conventional measurement. The result indicated that with temperature increasing, the valence of Cr ion from Cr5+ or Cr6+ changes into C3+, and the piezoelectric properties turn hard. With increasing Cr2O3 content, the amount of rhombohedral phases increases and the morphotropic boundary phase is correspondingly shifts to rhombohedral phase. A uniform microstructure and excellent comprehensive properties were obtained at 1240 degrees C as the amount of Cr2O3 is 0.5 wt.%.展开更多
