0.144(K0.5Bi0.5)TiO3-0.85(Na0.5Bi0.5)TiO3-0.006BaTiO3(KBT-NBT-BT) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared using a conventional solid state method.The influence of Sb2O3 doping on the crystal phase,surface... 0.144(K0.5Bi0.5)TiO3-0.85(Na0.5Bi0.5)TiO3-0.006BaTiO3(KBT-NBT-BT) lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared using a conventional solid state method.The influence of Sb2O3 doping on the crystal phase,surface microstructure and properties of the KBT-NBT-BT lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were investigated using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and other analytical methods.The results show that all compositions are of pure perovskite structure solid states.Sb2O3 doping does not influence the microstructure of KBT-NBT-BT lead-free piezoelectric ceramics obviously in the Sb2O3 doping range of 0.1-0.5 wt.%.Sb2O3 functions as a donor when doped small amount,while functions as a acceptor when doped large amount.The piezoelectric strain constant(d33) increases first and then decreases;the dielectric constant(ε33^T/ε0) and the dielectric loss(tanδ) decrease continuously when the amount of Sb2O3 dopant increases.When the doping amount of Sb2O3 is 0.1 wt.%,the KBT-NBT-BT piezoelectric ceramics with good comprehensive properties are obtained,whose d33,ε33^T/ε0 and tanδ are 147 pC/N,1510 and 4.2%,respectively. 展开更多

X-ra... This study described the structural, dielectric, and piezoelectric behavior of Pb1-xSrx[(Zr0.52Ti0.48)0.95(Mn1/3Nb2/3)0.05]O3 ceramics (PSZT-PMN, x=0, 0.025, 0.050, and 0.075), prepared by a semi-wet route. X-ray diffraction, dielectric, and piezoelectric investigations were carried out to analyze the crystal structure. The relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss were both calculated as the functions of temperature. The room-temperature dielectric constant reaches a maximum for a Sr2+-modified PZT-PMN ceramic with an x value of 0.050, which corresponds to the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB). Raman spectroscopy studies also confirm the existence of this MPB for x=0.050. The piezoelectric strain coefficients (d33) value shows a maximum response for this composition. In addition, the phase transition temperature decreases significantly when the Sr2+concentration increases in the PZT-PMN ceramics. 展开更多

Rainbow piezoelectric ceramics are a new type of stress-biased,oxide-reduced composite ferroelectric ceramics,which have a special dome structure.The have shown excellent properties such as ultra-high displacement under an applied electric field and enhanced load-bearing capability.In this article,their manufacture,structures and properties were discussed in detail by combining experiments and theory analysis.The resuts show that the optimal conditions for producing Rainbow samples from PLZT ceramics were determined to be 900℃ for 1 to 1.5 hours.A number of different phases have been found in the reduced layer of Rainbow ceramics by XRD analyses.The phases found include metallic lead and other oxide phases,such as PbO,ZrO 2 and TiO 2.The original PLZT phase was not observed.The reduced layer was transgranularly fractured while the unreduced ceramic was intergranularly fractured.Two kinds of fracture types can be seen at the interface,which denotes the different degrees of reduction.It is shown that the Pb grains (about 0.2μm) constitute a continuous phase in the reduced layer,which accounts for the good electrical conductivity. 展开更多

The governing equations have been applied to a semi infinite piezoelectric slab. The Laplace transform technique is used to remove the time-dependent terms in the governing differential equations and the boundary condition. The solution of the problem is first obtained in the Laplace transform domain. Furthermore, a complex inversion formula of the transform based on a Fourier expansion is used to get the numerical solutions of the field equations which are represented graphically. 展开更多

The theory of two-temperature generalized thermoelasticity is used to solve the problem of heating a semi-infinite rod made of a piezoelectric ceramic material within the framework of generalized thermopiezoelasticity theory by supplying the rod a certain amount of heat uniformly distributed over a finite time period to the finite end of the rod. The Laplace transform formalism is used to solve the proposed model. Inverse Laplace transforms are computed numerically using a method based on Fourier expansion techniques. The physical parameters (i.e., conductive temperature, dynamical temperature, stress, strain, and displacement distributions) are investigated graphically. 展开更多

A new type of large-displacement actuating materials called RAINBOW (Reduced and Internally Biased Oxide Wafer) ceramics is fabricated by a chemical reduction of PLZT piezoelectric ceramics. It is found that PLZT is easily reduced and the thickness of reduced layer has a linear relationship with the reduction time. The optimal conditions for producing RAINBOW samples from PLZT are determined to be 950℃ for 1-1.5 hours. SEM micrograph shows that the RAINBOW ceramics are composed of reduced and unreduced layer obviously. And the reduced layer is transgranularly fractured while the unreduced ceramic is intergranularly fractured. Metallic lead and refractor oxides (PbO, ZrO_2, ZrTiO_4, etc.) are found in the reduced layer by XRD analyses, however, the crystal structure of PLZT is not found. The analysis of the reduction mechanism is in good accordance with experimental data. 展开更多

Impedance spectroscopy studies indicate the bulk and grain boundary effects of PZT-PMN material along with the negative temperature coefficient of resistance. The bulk conductiv-ity exhibits an Arrhenius-type thermally activated hopping process which is supported by the AC conductivity behavior as a function of fre-quency and temperature. It is observed that the remnant polarization increases with an increase in the Sr2+content in PZT-PMN. 展开更多

In order to obtain both high piezoelectric property and good temperature stability in BaTiO_(3)-based ceramics in the common usage temperature range,Sn4þand Zr4þare co-doped into BaTiO3 ceramics according to the formula of Ba(Ti_(0.96)Sn_(x)Zr_(0.04-x))O_(3)(BTSZ)(x=0.01-0.4)with 1 mol%CuO being added as sintering-aid in this study.The CuO-modified BTSZ ceramics show both high piezoelectric properties and good temperature stability.Particularly,the CuO-modified Ba(Ti_(0.96)Sn_(x)Zr_(0.04-x))O_(3)ceramic displays the high piezoelectric properties of d_(33)=350 pC/N,k_(p)=49.5%at room-temperature and a weak temperature dependence of kp in the temperature range of15C and 60C.Moreover,the CuO-modified Ba(Ti_(0.96)Sn_(x)Zr_(0.04-x))O_(3)ceramic shows stable thermal aging behavior with the d33 being almost unchanged until the aging temperature of 100C,which is even higher than its Curie temperature.The high piezoelectric properties of CuO-modified Ba(Ti_(0.96)Sn_(x)Zr_(0.04-x))O_(3)ceramic were ascribed to the dense microstructure with small and uniform grain size distribution.The stable thermal aging behavior can be explained by the aging effect based on the defect dipolar model. 展开更多

Ba(Ti_(0.96)Sn_(0.04))O_(3)and CuO-modified Ba(Ti_(0.96)Sn_(0.04))O_(3)ceramics were prepared by the solid state reaction technique.Their piezoelectric properties were investigated and compared with those of the recently obtained high-d_(33)BaTiO_(3)ceramic.It has been found that simply substituting Ti4t with Sn4t worsens severely the piezoelectric properties whereas a combined usage of CuO additive greatly improves the overall piezoelectric performance.CuO-modified BaeTi_(0.96)Sn_(0.04)TO_(3)ceramic shows excellent piezoelectric properties of d_(33)=390 pC=N;kp=0.49 and k33=0.67 at room temperature.Furthermore,it possesses weak temperature dependences of electromechanical coe±cients between20 and 55 and a good thermal aging stability down to a low experimental temperature limit of50℃and up to 90.Detailed analysis suggests that its high piezoelectric performance should be largely ascribed to the ideal microstructure of high relative density and small grains and the corresponding domain configurations. 展开更多

This paper examines the selection and performance evaluation of a variety of piezoelectric materials for cantilever-based sensor applications.The finite element analysis method is implemented to evaluate the relative importance of materials properties such as Young's Modulus(E),piezoelectric stress constants(e_(31)),dielectric constant(ε)and Poisson's ratio(ν)for cantilever-based sensor applications.An analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to assign weights to the properties that are studied for the sensor structure under study.A technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS)is used to rank the performance of the piezoelectric materials in the context of sensor voltage outputs.The ranking achieved by the TOPSIS analysis is in good agreement with the results obtained from finite element method simulation.The numerical simulations show that K_(0.5)Na_(0.5)NbO_(3)-LiSbO_(3)(KNN-LS)materials family is important for sensor application.Young's modulus(E)is most influencing material's property followed by piezoelectric constant(e_(31)),dielectric constant(ε)and Poisson's ratio(ν)for cantilever-based piezoelectric sensor applications. 展开更多

High-field strain and its temperature stability of(1-x)K_(0.48)Na_(0.52)Nb_(0.96)Ta_(0.04)O_(3)-xBaZrO_(3)+8%MnO+3%ZrO_(2)(in mole,KNNT-xBZ+8Mn)ceramics sintered in reducing atmosphere are improved simultaneously via defect design in A and B site.There is a conducting type transition from n-type to p-type at x=0.07.The BaZrO_(3) dopant not only induces the increase of defects(Zr′_(Nb),Ba_(Na),Ba_(K))concentration,but also results in the increase of defect(Mn″_(Nb))concentration,because more Mn ions as+2 oxidation state in ceramics is triggered by BaZrO3 doping modifcation.Defect dipoles(Mn″_(Nb)-V_(o),Zr′_(Nb)-V_(o),Ba_(Na)-V′_(Na),Ba_(Na)-V′_(Na))in poled and aged ceramics enhance the reversibility of the non-180°domains switching,which increases the high-field strain of KNNT-xBZ+8Mn ceramics.The reversibility of non-180°domain switching can be preserved to high temperature due to stable defect dipoles(Ba_(Na)-V′_(Na),Ba_(K)-V′_(K))in A-site.The KNNT-xBZ+8Mn ceramics at x=0.07 show the largest high-field strain coefficient(543 pm/V@20 kV/cm)and the highest temperature stability(125℃).The KNNT-xBZ+8Mn ceramic is a lead-free material with great potential to be applied in the fabrication of multilayer ceramic actuators with Ni inner electrodes in the future. 展开更多

针对声呐系统中微型目标探测与水下定位等应用,设计了一种宽带高灵敏度水声换能器。采用双金属板压电陶瓷柱阵列材料作为换能器敏感元件,以空气代替聚合物,并在压电陶瓷柱阵列上下表面粘接金属板,改善了材料的有效机电耦合系数,提高了... 针对声呐系统中微型目标探测与水下定位等应用,设计了一种宽带高灵敏度水声换能器。采用双金属板压电陶瓷柱阵列材料作为换能器敏感元件,以空气代替聚合物,并在压电陶瓷柱阵列上下表面粘接金属板,改善了材料的有效机电耦合系数,提高了换能器灵敏度;通过不同厚度敏感元件嵌套式叠加,拓展了换能器工作带宽。理论分析了双金属板压电陶瓷柱阵列材料的谐振频率;利用有限元仿真确定了敏感元件的尺寸参数与材料选择,并对由该结构敏感元件组成的换能器进行了水中仿真测试。结果表明,换能器工作带宽达到约80 kHz,最大发送电压响应为188.6 dB,-3 dB带宽约为74 kHz,最大接收灵敏度为-173.9 dB。与同尺寸的纯压电陶瓷相比,该换能器的接收灵敏度和带宽都得到有效改善。 展开更多

原料颗粒度对(K,Na)NbO_(3)基陶瓷压电性能的影响
