Three new solid complexes of macrocyclic polyether ligand 2, 2'-dinitro-4, 5, 4', 5'bis-(15- crown-5)-dihenzo disulfide(L) with trivalent rare earth nitrates having composition of RE(NO_3)_3·L ·6... Three new solid complexes of macrocyclic polyether ligand 2, 2'-dinitro-4, 5, 4', 5'bis-(15- crown-5)-dihenzo disulfide(L) with trivalent rare earth nitrates having composition of RE(NO_3)_3·L ·6H_2O(RE=Ce, Pr, Nd) have been synthesized in acetonitrile. All the isolated complexes have been characterized by elementary analysis, IR and UV spectra, differential thermal and thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray powder diffraction analysis, molar conductance and measurements of solubility in some general solvents. 展开更多

The capability of the synthesized heteropoly complexes of rare earths {K10 [(O39W11Si) Ln(Gly)3Ln(SiW11O39)]?H2O (Ln=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy)} as the catalyst promoter in the synthesis of the ethyl acetate was studied. A series of lanthanide complexes LnCl_3·L(Ln=La,Pr,Nd;L=15-C-5 or 18-C-6)have been synthesized and their molecular configuration,electronic structure and bond character have been studied by XPS and quantum chemical calculation.The calculated results are in good agreement with that obtained in the experiments.Three Cl atoms are on the same side of Ln in LnCl_3·15-C-5 and the crown ring on the other side.forming a complex molecule with coordination number 8.LnCl_3·15-C-5 is easily hygroscopic in air because of its unsaturated coordination,which differs sharply from the stable Ln(NO_3)_3·15-C-5 com- plex of coordination number 11.The HOMO and neighboring occupied MOs are composed of Cl 3p and O2p, and the LUMO and neighboring unoccupied MOs are composed of Ln orbitals.The level structure easily pro- duces Ln3d satellite in XPS caused by L→Ln charge transfer transition.Due to the coordination,the absolute values of the charge are decreased at Ln and O atoms,but increased at Cl atoms,which is in agreement with XPS results. 展开更多

The crystat structure of {[Er;(L—Glu);(H;O);](ClO;);·3H;O);has been studied by X-ray diffraction. The crystal is monoctinic with space group P2;and cell parameters a=19.987(3) , b=16.505(3) , c=11.040... The crystal is monoctinic with space group P2;and cell parameters a=19.987(3) , b=16.505(3) , c=11.040(2) , β=104.69(1);, V=3538(1) , Z=2, Dc=2.29 g. cm;, μ=53.2 cm;, F(000)=2384. The asymmetric unit contains two complex motecules and four centre ions. Each erbium (Ⅲ) is coordinated by five oxygen donors from four different glutamates and four oxygen donors from the aqua ligand to form a nine coordination potyhedron. The mean distances of Er—0 (carboxylate) and Er—Ow are 2.439 and 2.41 respectivety. The finat R and Rw are 0.043 and 0. 058, respectivety. 展开更多

The sensitivities for determination of these rare earths by this reaction depend on their ionic radii. Cerium- or terbium-group rare earth in the presence of yttrium-group element produces the cocolouration effect which remarkably sensitizes the reaction. Yb-CPApC-Eu complex has a molar composition of 1:4:2 and gives a molar absorptivity of 2. 02 ×10~5 L·mol^(-1)·cm^(-1) at 746 nm for Eu. It is found that the closer the lengths of ionic radii of the rare earths are, the greater will be the cocolouration effect. 展开更多

The complex of dysprosium chloride with glycine and L-tyrosine, Dy(Tyr)(Gly)3Cl3·3H2O, was synthesized and characterized. The standard molar formation enthalpy of Dy(Tyr)(Gly)3Cl3·3H2O at T=298.15 K was determined to be (-4287.10±2.14) kJ/mol. The kinetics of thermal decomposition of the complex was studied by non-isothermal TG-DTG curves. The kinetic parameters and mechanism function of the thermal decomposition reaction for its second step were proposed. The kinetic equation could be expressed as;dα/dT=3.14×10^20 s^-1/βexp(-209.37 kJ·mol^-1/RT)(1 - α)^2. 展开更多
