In order to ameliorate saline-alkaline soil, EM Bokashi has been applied to rice production in conjunction with subdrainage in Ningxia Autonomous Region and Zhejiang Province. The preliminary results can be summarized as follows: EM Bokashi can increase soil organic matter content, improve soil porosity and permeability, and raise the soil's levels of available nutrients; and EM Bokashi combined with subdrainage treatment is more effective in controlling secondary soil salinization and raising the grain yield and quality than other treatments. The results suggest that EM Bokashi can reduce the necessary amount of chemical fertilizer application, thereby improving the agricultural environment, and that the introduction of EM Bokashi into systems of secondary soil salinization control systems has resulted in significant benefits. 展开更多

Infection of Escherichia coli in piglets is identified as one of major problems in pig husbandry.Data were collected from different experiments conducted at farm levels and results showed that the percentage of piglets infected with E.coli was very high.E.coli infected healthy piglets were up to 48.9%and E.coli infected diarrhea piglets accounted for 88.3%.Using Betel Bokashi and antibiotics in treatment brings about different results.Out of 48 infected piglets,15 piglets were selected for three groups treatment with five each group.Results showed that 92.3%diarrhea piglets treated with Betel Bokashi recovered in 3.85 d,while 100%and 88.23%treated with antibiotics were cured in 4 d and 4.01 d,respectively.Post-treatment piglets in group 3 grew up faster than group 1 and group 2,with gains 231,218 and 212 g,respectively. 展开更多

为探究厨余垃圾资源化利用的途径、改善生态环境质量,采用波卡西堆肥法处理厨余垃圾,将化肥、堆肥与原土按不同比例混合制成三种土壤作为培植基质,分别对照种植小白菜和飘儿白进行培植试验,研究厨余堆肥对植物生长和土壤理化性质的影响... 为探究厨余垃圾资源化利用的途径、改善生态环境质量,采用波卡西堆肥法处理厨余垃圾,将化肥、堆肥与原土按不同比例混合制成三种土壤作为培植基质,分别对照种植小白菜和飘儿白进行培植试验,研究厨余堆肥对植物生长和土壤理化性质的影响.结果表明:(1)堆肥土的有机质、全氮、全磷、水解性氮、速效磷高于普通尿素土和原土,有利于植物生长,且堆肥土p H低于普通尿素土;(2)堆肥培植后的土壤性质变化不同于另外两种土壤,其堆肥土的有机质含量会升高;(3)堆肥土所培植物更具生长优势,植株大小、叶宽等总体优于其他土壤.结论:厨余垃圾堆肥可以优化土壤,提高可回收资源的利用率,实现了废物减量化、资源化和无害化. 展开更多
