With the rapid development of information technology in contemporary times,the blended teaching mode that blends online and offline courses has become an international trend in higher education.Taking blended tourism ...With the rapid development of information technology in contemporary times,the blended teaching mode that blends online and offline courses has become an international trend in higher education.Taking blended tourism management courses at Chongqing Three Gorges University as an example,we explored the impact of such teaching reform on student satisfaction based on the SERVPERF model.Empirical analysis of 179 valid questionnaires revealed that five elements of the reform,namely,reliability,assurance,valuableness,responsiveness,and empathy,have a significant positive impact on students’learning satisfaction.Specifically,in the context of blended courses,factors such as a stable and reliable teaching environment,comprehensively guaranteed educational conditions,teaching content that highly aligns with students’demands and value expectations,prompt responses to students’needs and feedback,and empathetic consideration of students’perspectives are critical for enhancing student satisfaction.Based on these conclusions,we propose several strategies and methods for improving the effectiveness of blended teaching in the hope of propelling its continuous improvement and optimization,thus further elevating the quality of higher education.展开更多

This parameter is closely related to other physical quality parameters like fabric weight, fabric tightness factor, fiber types, blend ratio, y...Stitch density is one of the critical quality parameters of knit fabrics. This parameter is closely related to other physical quality parameters like fabric weight, fabric tightness factor, fiber types, blend ratio, yarn diameter and linear density, and fabric structure. Selecting stitch density (wales per inch, course per inch) is essential to getting the appropriate fabric weight and desired quality. Usually, no rules or assumptions exist to get the desired stitch density in the finished fabric stage. Fifteen types of blended knit fabrics were prepared to conduct the study. The varying percentages of cotton, polyester, and elastane are incorporated in the blends. Regression analysis and regression ANOVA tests were done to predict the stitch density of finished fabrics. A suitable regression equation is established to get the desired results. The study also found that the stitch density value in the finished stage fabric decreases by approximately 15% compared to the stitch density in the grey fabric stage. This study will help the fabric manufacturers get the finished fabric stitch density in advance by utilizing the grey fabric stitch density data set. The author expects this research to benefit the knitting and dyeing industry, new researchers, and advanced researchers.展开更多

Blended learning(BL)has been widely adopted to improve students’academic achievements in higher education.However,its success relies mainly on student engagement,which plays an essential role in active learning and p...Blended learning(BL)has been widely adopted to improve students’academic achievements in higher education.However,its success relies mainly on student engagement,which plays an essential role in active learning and provides a rich understanding of students’experiences.The study utilized three self-designed scales-the Teacher Support Scale,Student Engagement Scale,and Student Learning Experience Scale-to gauge and examine the impact and relationship between perceived teacher support,student behavioral engagement,and the intermediary role of learning experiences.A cohort of 899 college students undertaking the obligatory College English course through BL modes across five Chinese universities actively participated by completing a comprehensive questionnaire.The results showed significant correlations between perceived teacher support,learning experience,and behavioral engagement.Perceived teacher support significantly predicted students’behavioral engagement,with socio-affective support exerting the most substantial predictive effects.All predictive effects were partially mediated by learning experience(learning mode,online resources,overall LMS-based learning,interaction with their instructor and peers,and learning outcome).The influence of perceived teacher support on behavioral engagement differed between students who reported the most positive(vs.negative)learning experiences.Suggestions for further research are offered for consideration.展开更多
Objective:To explore the application effect of the blended education strategy based on the Learning Pass platform in the phase III cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary artery disease.Methods:90 patients di...Objective:To explore the application effect of the blended education strategy based on the Learning Pass platform in the phase III cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary artery disease.Methods:90 patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease in the Department of Cardiology of our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected and divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the method of randomized numerical table,with 45 cases in each group.Both the experimental group and the control group received pre-discharge cardiac rehabilitation education by conventional means.The control group received education and supervision information via WeChat after discharge,while the experimental group joined the Learning Pass platform to receive online and offline hybrid education and supervision,with online as the mainstay and offline as a supplement.The disease cognitive level,self-management skills,quality of life,medication adherence,and emotional status of the two groups were compared.Results:The disease cognitive levels in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the scores of the experimental group in terms of quality of life,self-management skills,and medication adherence were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);and the scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The blended education strategy based on the Learning Pass platform has a significant application effect in phase III cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary artery disease.It can improve patients’disease cognitive level,self-management skills,and quality of life,and provide a basis for improving patients’prognosis.展开更多

文摘Objective:To explore the application effect of the blended education strategy based on the Learning Pass platform in the phase III cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary artery disease.Methods:90 patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease in the Department of Cardiology of our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected and divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the method of randomized numerical table,with 45 cases in each group.Both the experimental group and the control group received pre-discharge cardiac rehabilitation education by conventional means.The control group received education and supervision information via WeChat after discharge,while the experimental group joined the Learning Pass platform to receive online and offline hybrid education and supervision,with online as the mainstay and offline as a supplement.The disease cognitive level,self-management skills,quality of life,medication adherence,and emotional status of the two groups were compared.Results:The disease cognitive levels in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the scores of the experimental group in terms of quality of life,self-management skills,and medication adherence were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);and the scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The blended education strategy based on the Learning Pass platform has a significant application effect in phase III cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary artery disease.It can improve patients’disease cognitive level,self-management skills,and quality of life,and provide a basis for improving patients’prognosis.

文摘This paper endeavors to explore the integration of curriculum ideological and political elements into the blended teaching of the Design Composition course based on the OBE(outcome-based education)concept.It analyzes the implementation paths and practical effects,providing a reference for the integration of ideological and political education and professional education in art design education in the new era.By analyzing the core content of the OBE concept in combination with the characteristics of the Design Composition course,we discuss the integration of ideological and political elements into teaching design.Employing methods of case analysis and literature review,and in conjunction with the blended teaching mode,we design a teaching process that conforms to the OBE concept,optimize practical activities and evaluation systems,and enhance students’ideological and moral qualities as well as disciplinary accomplishments.The research reveals that through the integration of ideological and political education in courses based on the OBE concept,it is possible to not only improve students’professional skills but also enhance their sense of social responsibility and cultural confidence.

文摘English Stylistics is provided as an elective course by the Business English major at Guangdong Technology College,whose evaluation mechanism significantly impacts how well students learn the language.A novel assessment model is put forth in this study with the intention of transforming from a single summative assessment to a combination of formative and summative assessment in light of the shortcomings of the current assessment methodology in the course.In order to take advantage of blended teaching and integrate the online and offline learning resources of English Stylistics,all-round reforms have been carried out at multiple levels,including teaching content,teaching methods,and assessment approaches.Therefore,a more reasonable and diversified assessment method has been adopted to more comprehensively reflect students’learning objectives and proficiency in foreign languages.
文摘Recent years have witnessed the rise and popularity of blended teaching for EFL students,yet the lack of face-to-face communication and insufficient interaction lead researchers and educators to explore methods of improving the effectiveness of teaching.Peer feedback,a teaching strategy used to raise the bars by exposing instructions to a new teaching perspective to enhance students’online and offline collaboration,has received the lion’s share of attention in recent studies.On the basis of literature review,class records,and interviews,this paper,in hope of supporting advances in teachers’practice and field researches,examines the possible approaches to effectively implementing the application of peer feedback in blended teaching mode with a special focus on teachers’roles.

文摘Geological Hazards Investigation and Evaluation is the core course of Environmental Geological Engineering,aiming to cultivate skilled talents with solid theoretical knowledge and excellent practical skills.At present,the course faces several issues,including a teaching environment disconnected from real-world work scenarios,course content that deviates from job-related tasks,a lack of digital teaching resources,and reliance on a single teaching method,leading to students’poor feedback from employers.Based on the concept of outcome-based education,the course team of Geological Hazards Investigation and Evaluation establishes a“five-step double-rotation”blended teaching model with the help of a Small Private Online Course platform.The program is designed to improve the teaching environment and expand the digitalized teaching resources in order to improve students’learning motivation,enhance learning effectiveness,and cultivate skillful talents who meet employers’satisfaction.

文摘The BOPPPS model has been widely used in information-based teaching reform,which emphasizes studentcentered principles and student participation and interaction,including six steps:bridge-in,objective,pre-assessment,participatory learning,post-assessment,and summary.This paper applies the BOPPPS model in the Integrated English course at the three stages of teaching practice-before class,during class,and after class-to achieve blended teaching.It shows that this teaching mode provides students with a more abundant learning experience,helps to stimulate students’learning interests,and improves their comprehensive language application skills.

文摘Objective:This study explores the effectiveness of a three-stage blended teaching model in the Medical Microbiology course for Clinical Medicine students within the context of smart education.Methods:Clinical Medicine students from the 2021 and 2022 classes were studied,comparing the traditional and three-stage blended teaching models.Academic performance and survey feedback were analyzed.Results:The research group’s academic performance,including daily,final exam,and average scores,was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Over 95%of students approved of the new teaching model,noting improvements in competencies.Conclusion:The three-stage blended teaching model effectively boosted student engagement,interaction,academic performance,and overall skills,showing potential for broader application in medical education.

文摘To cultivate talents with an exploratory spirit and practical skills in the era of information technology,it is imperative to reform teaching methods and approaches.In the teaching process of the Probability and Statistics course,an application-oriented blended teaching model combining problem-based learning and small private online course was explored.By organizing and implementing online and offline teaching activities based on problem-based learning,a multidimensional process-oriented learning assessment system was established.Practice has shown that this model can effectively enhance classroom teaching effectiveness,benefiting the improvement of students’overall skills and mathematical literacy.
