采用数量遗传学的统计方法,对8个稳定的节节麦胞质的普通小麦核质杂种的株高等8个性状的平均数、变异系数、广义遗传力、表现型相关系数、基因型相关系数作了估算。结果表明,(1)各性状变异系数较大的是有效分蘖数、株粒重、穗长和穗粒... 采用数量遗传学的统计方法,对8个稳定的节节麦胞质的普通小麦核质杂种的株高等8个性状的平均数、变异系数、广义遗传力、表现型相关系数、基因型相关系数作了估算。结果表明,(1)各性状变异系数较大的是有效分蘖数、株粒重、穗长和穗粒重,其它性状变幅较小;(2)各性状广义遗传力由大到小顺序为:株高、穗长、小穗数、千粒重、穗粒重、株粒重、有效分蘖数和穗粒数;(3)表现型相关与基因型相关趋势一致,其中穗长与穗粒数和株粒重、株粒重与株高和千粒重、有效分蘖数与株粒重和小穗数显著相关。这些结果与前人用普通小麦作试材的研究结果基本一致。据此,可认为普通小麦选育理论同样适用于核质杂种。 展开更多

[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the effects of drought stress on osmotic regulation substances of Catalpa bungei clones. [Method] Potting experimental was carried out with plastic film sealing method, to differentiate the degrees of drought stress based on changes in soil water content and leaf water potential and investigate variations in contents of osmotic regulation substances(free proline,soluble sugar and soluble protein) in leaves of five Catalpa bungei clones under different degrees of drought stresses. [Result] According to changes in soil water content and leaf water potential, the whole process of drought stress was divided into normal level(CK, with soil water content of 97.49% and leaf water potential of-0.54MPa), light drought(LD with soil water content of 59.96% and leaf water potential of-1.28 MPa), mediate drought(MD with soil water content of 34.19% and leaf water potential of-2.32 MPa) and severe drought(SD with soil water content of 14.52%and leaf water potential of-2.99 MPa). The soil water content and leaf water potential of five Catalpa bungei clones reached the highest correlation in exponential fitting, with an average R2of 0.989 3(P0.001). The free proline content in leaves of five Catalpa bungei clones increased rapidly with the increasing degree of drought stress(P 0.001). To be specific, free proline contents of Catalpa bungei clones015-1 and 7080 were 34.39 and 33.41 times of the normal level under severe drought conditions, which reached an extremely significant level(P0.001); the free proline content of Catalpa bungei clone 1-3 rapidly increased to(855.46±227.52) μg/g Fw under light drought conditions. The soluble protein content in leaves showed different variation trends. To be specific, the soluble protein content of Catalpa bungei clone 7080 was the lowest at various drought stages and reached(1.644 ±0.137)mg/g Fw under normal conditions; the soluble protein content of Catalpa bungei clone 1-3 was relatively high under normal conditions and was reduced rapidly under light drought conditions, showing different response patterns. [Conclusion] Osmotic regulation substances in leaves of five Catalpa bungei clones all have certain response to drought stress. Free proline is the most important osmotic regulation substance, followed by soluble protein, while soluble sugar makes no significant contribution. According to changes in content of osmotic regulation substances, Catalpa bungei clone 7080 has relatively high capacity and good drought resistance, while Catalpa bungei clone 1-3 has the rapidest response to drought stress. 展开更多

[ Method] C. album seedlings grown to 6th leaf stage were conducted osmotic stress treatment with PEG6000 osmotic whose concentration was set up as 0, 5%, 10% and 20% and the various physiological indices of the 3rd -5th function leaves in upper plant were determined after being treated for 0, 1,3, 5, 7 and 9 d. [ Result] Under osmotic stress with 5% PGE, the relative water content (RWC) of C. album reduced less. Under osmotic stress with 10%, the RWC in seedling leaves of C. album decreased to 62% on the fifth day and the leaves began to wither. Under osmotic stress with 20%, the RWC in seedling leaves of C. album decreased to 61.9% on the third day and the leaves appeared withering, and the RWC decreased to 48.6% on the 7th day and the leaves were dry and yellow. Proline contents in seedling leaves of C. album under osmotic stress with 5%, 10% and 20% PEG were 7.64, 10.9 and 29.4 times of CK on the 7th day. [ Conclusion] C. album hed some adaptability to moderate osmotic stress, but the PEG osmotic stress with high concentration and long time might lead to severe damage on C. album. 展开更多

The normal control group, high lipid model group, high dose of perilla seed group(2.5 g/kg), low dose of perilla seed group (0.83 g/kg) were designed to measure the contents of total cholesterol (TC), three acids glyceride (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), very low density lipoprotein cholesterol (VLDL-C) and malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. [ Result] All the test groups could decrease TC ,TG,LDL-C and MDA content and significantly increase the HDL-C content (p 〈 0.01) and SOD activity(p 〈 0.01 ) in serum. [Objective] We aimed to investigate the differences of polyphenols content in Anxi Tieguanyin tea among different seasons and relationship between polyphenols and tea quality.[Method] The content of total polyphenols and main phenolic compounds was analyzed by spectrophotometry and HPLC and the sensory quality assessment was carried out.[Result] There were significant differences in the content of polyphenols in Anxi Tieguanyin tea among different seasons.The summer tea had a higher content of polyphenols and ester type catechins and a heavier undesirable taste with more bitterness and astringency than spring tea and autumn tea with lower quality in general.The flavonol content of spring and autumn tea was significantly higher and the color of tea soup was better.[Conclusion] This study provided a basis for the quality improvement of summer tea by regulating the content of total polyphenols and provided a basic data for chemical analysis of Oolong tea. 展开更多

The results of the previous studies seem to show the crustaceans can secrete growth hormone,which regulate their growth.However,more evidences are needed to determine it.So the following research was conducted.The extract of thoracic ganglia (TGE) of adult Macrobrachium rosenbergii was applied to a Sephadex G-50 column,the resulting second peak was further isolated by HPLC,and 9 fractions were obtained.Among the fractions only the second fraction significantly increased the protein synthesis of the abdomen muscle of the juvenile M.rosenbergii that was injected TGE.The increasing effects were related to the protein concentration of the injecting fractions.The molecular weight of the substance in the second fraction isolated by HPLC was below 3.4?kDa.The results indicate that the thoracic ganglia of M.rosenbergii could secrete a peptide hormone,which stimulates the muscle protein synthesis of prawn,and the hormone might be the growth hormone of the prawn. 展开更多

The volatile compounds from ash-leaf maple (Acer negundo L.) were examined by adsorption-thermodesorption and GC-MS. Thirty-two compounds, including alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, esters, terpenoids, carboxylic acids, etc. were identified. The analysis revealed that the diurnal rhythm of release of volatile compounds from maple differed in July and in August. In July, the releasing of most volatile compounds reached the peak at 14 o'clock, when in August, the emission of volatile compounds reached the peak at 10 o'clock. Besides diurnal rhythm, there also existed other differences in the releasing of volatiles and their relative contents in July and in August. A possible explanation for this phenomenon is the maturation of leaves, since the sampling conditions were the same both in July and August. At the same time, the response of Anoplophora glabrpennis Motschulsky to volatiles was examined with field bioassay with traps. cis-3-hexen-1-ol was found to be more effective to attract A. glabrpennis than other volatiles released by ash-leaf maple tree in field trapping test. A mixture of 1-butanol, 1-pentanol and 2-pentanol was tested to be the most attractive to A. glabripennis among all tested volatiles. More field trapping tests should be conducted. 展开更多

[Methods] The 12-day-old J. curcas seedlings were held in a climate chamber at 25/20 ℃(day/night),16 hours illumination,and 75% of relative humidity for air-drought treatment,and the changes of water potential,osmotic potential and the content of soluble sugar,proline,betaine were measured. [Results] Water potential and osmotic potential in leaves of J. curcas seedlings dropped significantly,pressure potential lost during air-drought stress,and the contents of osmoregulants soluble sugar,proline and betaine rose significantly to different extent in the leaves and stems. [Conclusion] Osmoregulants in the leaves and stems respond differently to air-drought stress,and in general leaves are much more responsive to the drought than stems of J. curcas seedlings. 展开更多

During 2012-2014,field trials were carried out in Huili County,Dechang County and Mianning County of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture to investigate effects of tobacco-dedicated plant nutrition regulators on yield and quality of fluecured tobacco leaves,aiming at providing reference for tobacco production.According to the results,in tobacco fields applied with tobacco-dedicated plant nutrition regulators,growth period of tobacco was shortened compared with control group;botanical characters(plant height,stem girth,the maximum leaf length,the maximum leaf width,internode length and leaf number) were superior to control group;after application of tobacco-dedicated plant nutrition regulators,yield,output value and the proportion of high-grade and middle-grade leaves were significantly improved compared with control group;moreover,flue-cured tobacco leaves exhibited more coordinated chemical composition. 展开更多

The effects of changing salinity and nitrogen limitation on dimethylsulfoniopropionate(DMSP) and dimethylsulfide(DMS) concentrations were investigated in batch cultures of coastal diatom Skeletonema costatum,an ecologically important species.Changes in salinity from 20-32 caused no measurable variation in cell growth or culture yield,but increased intracellular DMSP per cell by 30%.Nitrogen limitation caused up to a two-fold increase in total DMSP per cell and up to a three-fold increase in DMS per cell.These changes in DMSP and DMS per cell in the Skeletonema costatum cultures with nitrogen limitation and changing salinity were primarily attributed to the physiological functions of DMSP as an osmolyte and an antioxidant.The data obtained in this study indicated that nitrogen limitation and salinity may play an important role in climate feedback mechanisms involving biologically derived DMS. 展开更多

To investigate the role of gene variants and derived haplotypes of the CLOCK transcription factor in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFID) and their relation with the disease severity.METHODS: A total of 136 patients with NAFLD and 64 healthy individuals were studied. Liver biopsy was performed in 91 patients. Six tag SNPs showing a minor allele frequency 〉 10% (rs1554483 C/G; rs11932595 A/G; rs4580704 C/G; rs6843722 A/C; rs6850524 C/G and rs4864548 A/G) encompassing 117 kb of chromosome 4 and representing 115 polymorphic sites (P 〉 0.8) were genotyped. RESULTS: rs11932595 and rs6843722 showed significant associations with NAFLD (empiric P = 0.0449 and 0.023, respectively). A significant association was also observed between clinical or histologic spectrum of NAFLD and rs1554483 (empiric P = 0.0399), rs6843722 (empiric P = 0.0229) and rs6850524 (empiric P = 0.00899) and between fibrosis score and rs1554483 (empiric P = 0.02697), rs6843722 (empiric P = 0.01898) and rs4864548 (empiric P = 0.02697). Test of haplotypic association showed that CLOCK gene variant haplotypes frequencies in NAFLD individuals significantly differed from those in controls (empiric P = 0.0097).CONCLUSION: Our study suggests a potential role of the CLOCK polymorphisms and their haplotypes insusceptibility to NAFLD and disease severity. 展开更多

Objective To investigate the regulatory effects of nerve growth factor (NGF) on basal and capsaicin-induced release of neuropeptide substance P (SP) in primary cultured embryonic rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons. Methods DRGs were dissected from 15-day-old embryonic Wistar rats. DRG neurons were dissociated and cultured, and then exposed to different concentrations of NGF (10 ng/mL, 30 ng/mL, or 100 ng/mL) for 72 h. The neurons cultured in media without NGF served as control. RT-PCR were used for detecting the mRNAs of SP and vanilloid receptor 1 (VR1) in the DRG neurons. The SP basal and capsaicin (100 nmol/L)-induced release in the culture were measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA). Results SP mRNA and VR1 mRNA expression increased in primary cultured DRG neurons in a dose-dependent manner of NGF. Both basal release and capsaicin-evoked release of SP increased in NGF-treated DRG neurons compared with in control group. The capsaicin-evoked release of SP also increased in a dose-dependent manner of NGF. Conclusion NGF may promote both basal release and capsaicin-evoked release of SP. NGF might increase the sensitivity of nociceptors by increasing the SP mRNA or VR1 mRNA. 展开更多

Objective:To characterize the expression of aquaporin-4(AQP4),one of the aquaporins(AQPs),in human brainspecimens from patients with traumatic brain injury or brain tumors.Methods:Nineteen hnman brain specimens were obtahledfrom the patients with traumatic brain injury,brain tumors,benign meningioma or early stage hemorrhagic stroke.MRI or CTimaging was used to assess brain edema.Hematoxylin and eosm staining were used to evaluate cell damage,Immunohistochem-istry was used to detect the AQP4 expression.Results:AQP4 expression was increased from 15 h to at least 8 d after injury.AQP4immunoreactivity was strong around astrocytomas,ganglioglioma and metastatic adenocarcinoma.However,AQP4 immunore-activity was only found in the centers of astrocytomas and ganglioglioma,but not in metastatic adenocarcinoma derived from lung.Conclusion:AQP4 expression increases in human brains alter traumatic brain injury,within brain-derived tumors,and aroundbrain tumors. 展开更多

To improve ground vehicle efficiency, shift schedule energy saving was proposed for the ground vehicle automatic transmission by studying the function of the torque converter and transmission in the vehicular drivetrain. The shift schedule can keep the torque converter working in the high efficiency range under all the working conditions except in the low efficiency range on the left when the transmission worked at the lowest shift, and in the low efficiency range on the right when the transmission worked at the highest shift. The shift quality key factors were analysed. The automatic trans-mission's bench-test adopting this shift schedule was made on the automatic transmission's test-bed. The experimental results showed that the shift schedule was correct and that the shift quality was controllable. 展开更多
