随着互联网的蓬勃发展,线上交易成为了主流方式。并且随着经济全球化,企业的交易涉及不同国家的消费群体。为了规范双方之间的权利与义务,避免交易过程存在争议,企业对线上交易做出了条款规范。同时,为了满足不同语言群体的需要,这些条...随着互联网的蓬勃发展,线上交易成为了主流方式。并且随着经济全球化,企业的交易涉及不同国家的消费群体。为了规范双方之间的权利与义务,避免交易过程存在争议,企业对线上交易做出了条款规范。同时,为了满足不同语言群体的需要,这些条款需要翻译为多种语言。因此,商务条款类文本的翻译具有非常重要的经济与社会价值。功能对等理论是翻译研究中的重要理论之一,主张翻译在意义和形式上都要实现对等,这对于商务条款类文本翻译具有非常强的适用性。因此,本论文选用奈达的功能对等理论探讨其在商务条款类文本翻译中的应用。本篇文章选取商务条款类文本作为研究对象,该文本具有较强的专业性、客观性和逻辑性。本论文以功能对等理论为指导,分别从词汇、句法、篇章三个层面对文本的中英文进行研究与分析,分析译文所采用的翻译策略、方法或技巧,探索译文是如何在功能对等指导下与原文形成功能对等的,从一定程度上揭示了功能对等理论对商务条款类文本翻译具有的可行性和指导意义。With the development of the Internet, online transactions have become the mainstream way. And with the development of economic globalization, enterprise transactions involve different consumer groups from different countries. In order to regulate the liabilities and obligations between both parties and avoid disputes in the transaction process, enterprises have made provisions for online transactions. Meanwhile, in order to meet the needs of different language groups, these terms need to be translated into multiple languages. Therefore, the translation of business term texts has significant economic and social value. Functional Equivalence Theory is one of the significant theories in translation research, advocating for equivalence in both meaning and form in translation, which has strong applicability for the translation of business term texts. Therefore, this paper adopts Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory to explore its application in the translation of business term texts. This paper selects the business term texts as the research object. This text is characterized by professionalism, objectivity and logicality. Guided by the Functional Equivalence Theory, this paper conducts research and analysis on the English and Chinese versions of the text from three levels: lexical level, syntactic level and discourse level. In the chapter of case analysis, the translation strategies, methods, or techniques are analyzed. It also explores how the target text forms functional equivalence with the source text under the guidance of Functional Equivalence Theory, which reveals the feasibility and guiding role of Functional Equivalence Theory for the translation of business term texts to some extent.展开更多
