In order to promote its transformation and upgrading, it is necessary to realize the deep integration of digital technology and manufacturing industry. Aiming at the problems of weak market demand, overcapacity, and disordered competition in the manufacturing industry of the Yellow River Basin, this study reviews the research status quo of the integration of digital manufacturing and manufacturing industry at home and abroad, analyzes the current challenges, and utilizes the advent of new information technology as a point of departure to delve into the intricacies of its role in shaping the spatial distribution of the manufacturing industry chain within the Yellow River Basin. The investigation further entails a comprehensive summary of the salient features of the manufacturing industry’s digital terrain in China. The study’s findings culminate in the formulation of a digital spatial reconstruction model for the manufacturing industry chain in the Yellow River Basin, which is predicated on the symbiotic integration of geospatial and digital domains.展开更多
