The PP/TP ratios in bioturbation group were bigger than those in control group, the increase of TP concentration in bioturbation group was mainly due to the increase of PP. The ratios of dissolved inorganic phosphorus(DIP) to DTP (DIP/DTP) were significantly bigger than those in control group in middle and late stages of experiment(P<0.05).[Conclusion]The benthic fish had bioturbation effects on phosphorus in overlying water of paddy field, which increased the available phosphorus for rice growth.展开更多

The nozzle of the self-oscillating & deflecting water jet consists of an upstream nozzle, a downstream nozzle, an oscillating chamber and two switches. It is experimentally shown that the deflective angle may reach 9.53 degree. The generated pressure fluctuation is very regular and the jet can efficiently increase the ability for breaking and cutting by eliminating the water cushion effect associated with a continuous jet.展开更多

The numerical approaches are utilized to examine the time dependent flow field and pressure field inside the proposed flowmeter. The effect of varying structural parameters on flow characteristics of the proposed fluidic flowmeter is investigated by computational simulations for the optimization. Both the simulation and experimental results disclose that the hydrodynamic vibration, with the same intensity, frequency and 180° phase shift, occurs at axisymmetric points in the feedback channel of the fluidic flowmeter. Using the structural combination of impinged concave wall and bistable fluid amplifier and differential signal processing technique,a novel fluidic flowmeter with excellent immunity and improved sensibility is developed.展开更多

Theory analysis and experiment results of mass flow rates conclude that the RNG k-ε model is the most suitable model. The pressure distribution in the convergent-divergent nozzle was revealed by computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulating on the turbulent flow field under different pressure conditions. The growing conditions of cavitation bubbles were shown; meanwhile, the phenomena in the experiment could be explained. The differential pres- sure between the upstream and downstream in nozzle throat section can improve the cavitating effect of cavitation water jet.展开更多

The pressure distributions of the gas film and temperature fields of the seal rings and gas film are presented considering thermal and elastic distortions. Then, the influences of texturing parameters, including dimple inclination angle and dimple depth, on sealing performance are investigated under different operating parameters such as rotational speeds and seal pressures. The results show that face distortions lead to a decrease in the hydrodynamic effect at high rotational speed. The analysis shows that the opening force can decrease by more than 50% as the rotational speed increases from 0 to 35000 r min^(-1). The influence of face distortion on the seal performance, such as opening force and leakage characteristic, gradually increases with the rotational speed.展开更多

We used the hypothesis that the geoid of degrees 2–40 is produced by sublithospheric mantle density anomalies that are associated with dynamical process within the mantle. We obtained the model dynamical admittance(the geoid topography ratio based on a convection model) by a numerical simulation of the Venusian mantle convection, and used it to correct the dynamical effect in the calculation of crustal thickness. After deducting the dynamical effect, the thickness of the Venusian crust is presented. The results show that the gravity and topography are strongly correlated with the Venusian mantle convection and the Venusian crust has a significant influence on the topography. The Venusian crustal thickness varies from 28 to 70 km. Ishtar Terra, and Ovda Regio and Thetis Regio in western Aphrodite Terra have the highest crustal thickness(larger than 50 km). The high topography of these areas is thought to be supported by crustal compensation and our results are consistent with the hypothesis that these areas are remnants of ancient continents. The crustal thickness in the Beta, Themis, Dione, Eistla, Bell, and Lada regiones is thin and shows less correlation with the topography, especially in the Atla and Imdr regiones in the eastern part of Aphrodite Terra. This is consistent with the hypothesis that these highlands are mainly supported by mantle plumes. Compared with the crustal thickness calculated with the dynamical effect, our results are more consistent with the crust evolution and internal dynamical process of Venus.展开更多

The configuration of water at the ionic liquid/electrode interface and the relationship between the potential of zero charge (pzc) and the molar frac- tion of water were deduced through the changes in the vibrational frequency of OH stretching mode. A small Stark effect value was determined in the system with lower molar fraction of water. With the increase of the water concentration, the OH stretching vibrational frequency gradually shifted to the high wavenumber region, the pzc was also moved positively, and the Stark effect value of OH stretching vibrational mode increased. It reached about 76 cm-1 V-I in the 1 tool L-1 [BMIM]Br aqueous solution. These differences were mainly contributed by hydrogen bonding and the configuration of water in the ionic liquid solution. In the solution with lower water content, water molecules existed at the interface layer through hydrogen bond- ing with cations, while in the higher content solution, the intermolecular hydrogen bonding between water molecules was strengthened and the possibility of the direct interaction between the water molecule and electrode surface increased.展开更多
