基于传统重复控制的并网逆变器控制技术虽然能够提高系统的控制性能,但抗电网频率波动能力弱,动态特性较差的问题却始终存在。针对此问题,提出一种基于两相静止α,β坐标系下的并网逆变器改进型重复控制方案。该方案以α,β坐标系下的LC... 基于传统重复控制的并网逆变器控制技术虽然能够提高系统的控制性能,但抗电网频率波动能力弱,动态特性较差的问题却始终存在。针对此问题,提出一种基于两相静止α,β坐标系下的并网逆变器改进型重复控制方案。该方案以α,β坐标系下的LCL型并网逆变器作为研究对象,省去了d,q坐标变换与电流解耦计算,在简化模型设计的同时最大限度地降低了并网电流总谐波畸变率(THD);此外,对传统的重复控制进行优化改进,首先采用一个自适应内模取代传统重复控制内模,提高了重复控制的抗电网频率波动能力,并在此基础上加入比例积分(PI)控制,减少了系统动态响应时间,最后对控制系统的可行性进行了讨论。通过Matlab/Simulink和实验,验证了此方案不仅具有良好的动态控制性能,而且具有较好的抗电网频率波动能力。 展开更多

The distillation column with side reactors (SRC) can overcome the temperature/pressure mismatch in the traditional reactive distillation, the column operates at temperature/pressure favorable for vapor-liquid separation, while the reactors operate at temperatures/pressures favorable for reaction kinetics. According to the smooth operation and automatic control problem of the distillation column with side reactors (SRC), the design, simulation calculation and dynamic control of the SCR process for chlorobenzene production are discussed in the paper. Firstly, the mechanism models, the integrated structure optimal design and process simulation systems are established, respectively. And then multivariable control schemes are designed, the controllability of SRC process based on the optimal steady-state integrated structure is explored. The dynamic response performances of closed-loop system against several disturbances are discussed to verify the effectiveness of control schemes for the SRC process. The simulating results show that the control structure using conventional control strategies can effectively overcome feeding disturbances in a specific range. 展开更多

Background: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common childhood disorder that affects approximately 11% of children in the United States. Research supports that a single session of exercise benefits cognitive performance by children, and a limited number of studies have demonstrated that these effects can also be realized by children with ADHD. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of acute exercise on cognitive performance by children with and without ADHD. Methods: Children with and without ADHD were asked to perform cognitive tasks on 2 days following treatment conditions that were assigned in a random, counterbalanced order. The treatment conditions consisted of a 30-min control condition on 1 day and a moderate intensity exercise condition on the other day. Results: Exercise significantly benefited performance on all three conditions of the Stroop Task, but did not significantly affect performance on the Tower of London or the Trail Making Test. Conclusion: children with and without ADHD realize benefits in speed of processing and inhibitory control in response to a session of acute exercise, but do not experience benefits in planning or set shifting. 展开更多

Various control systems for a robotic excavator named LUCIE (Lancaster University Computerized and Intelligent Excavator),were investigated. The excavator is being developed to dig trenches autonomously. One stumbling block is the achievement of adequate,accurate,quick and smooth movement under automatic control. Here,both classical and modern approaches are considered,including proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control tuned by conventional Zigler-Nichols rules,linear proportional-integral-plus (PIP) control,and a novel nonlinear PIP controller based on a state-dependent parameter (SDP) model structure,in which the parameters are functionally dependent on other variables in the system. Implementation results for the excavator joint arms control demonstrate that SDP-PIP controller provides the improved performance with fast,smooth and accurate response in comparison with both PID and linearized PIP control. 展开更多

To improve the handling performance of a steer-by-wire (SBW) vehicle, a series of control logics are proposed. Firstly, an algorithm for enhancing the maneuvering in steady-state cornering is presented. On this basis, two categories of control strategies are used to dynamically correct and compensate the transient state steering responses and vehicle behaviors. Simulator tests including subjective evaluations and virtual field tests are both conducted to make comprehensive investigations on the series of control logics. The subjective evaluations demonstrate that the SBW vehicle with a specifically selected value of steering sensitivity tends to be more desirable for driving than a conventional one in which a fixed steering ratio exists. The virtual field tests indicate that the control strategies for dynamical correction and compensation could effectively improve the handling per-formances of an SBW vehicle by reducing the work load of drivers, enhancing the track-holding performance, and improving steering response properties. 展开更多

This paper presents a new control strategy based on current differential feedback to accelerate the dynamic response of electromagnetic actuators, instead of traditional closed-loop control based on displacement feedback. The method mainly includes a differentiator, proportioner and signal synthesizer. Analysis and simulation on the step characteristics of an electromagnetic actuator were discussed, and all the results show that the approach can improve the actuator's step response greatly. Finally, the control method is applied to a real gravure system which verifies the control performance. 展开更多
