By adding frequency modulated signals to the intensity equation of gain noise model of the single-mode laser driven by two coloured noises which are correlated, this paper uses the linear approximation method to calculate the power spectrum and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the laser intensity. The results show that the SNR appears typical stochastic resonance with the variation of intensity of the pump noise and quantum noise. As the amplitude of a modulated signal has effects on the SNR, it shows suppression, monotone increasing, stochastic resonance, and multiple stochastic resonance with the variation of the frequency of a carrier signal and modulated signal. 展开更多

The new demodulation method can complete the demodulation of the FSK signals only with the carrier frequency and without any carrier phase information. The simulation results show that the performance of anti-noise of the new method is better than that of the incoherent demodulation method and the fluctuation of the carrier phase has little effect on the new method. Conventional parameter estimation methods for pseudo-random binary code-linear frequency modulation(PRBC-LFM)signals require prior knowledge,are computationally complex,and exhibit poor performance at low signal-to-noise ratios(SNRs).To overcome these problems,a blind parameter estimation method based on a Duffing oscillator array is proposed.A new relationship formula among the state of the Duffing oscillator,the pseudo-random sequence of the PRBC-LFM signal,and the frequency difference between the PRBC-LFM signal and the periodic driving force signal of the Duffing oscillator is derived,providing the theoretical basis for blind parameter estimation.Methods based on amplitude method,short-time Fourier transform method,and power spectrum entropy method are used to binarize the output of the Duffing oscillator array,and their performance is compared.The pseudo-random sequence is estimated using Duffing oscillator array synchronization,and the carrier frequency parameters are obtained by the relational expressions and characteristics of the difference frequency.Simulation results show that this blind estimation method overcomes limitations in prior knowledge and maintains good parameter estimation performance up to an SNR of-35 dB. 展开更多

In view of the complexity of existing linear frequency modulation(LFM)signal parameter estimation methods and the poor antinoise performance and estimation accuracy under a low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),a parameter estimation method for LFM signals with a Duffing oscillator based on frequency periodicity is proposed in this paper.This method utilizes the characteristic that the output signal of the Duffing oscillator excited by the LFM signal changes periodically with frequency,and the modulation period of the LFM signal is estimated by autocorrelation processing of the output signal of the Duffing oscillator.On this basis,the corresponding relationship between the reference frequency of the frequencyaligned Duffing oscillator and the frequency range of the LFM signal is analyzed by the periodic power spectrum method,and the frequency information of the LFM signal is determined.Simulation results show that this method can achieve high-accuracy parameter estimation for LFM signals at an SNR of-25 dB. 展开更多

The results show that the mixing micro-channel acts as a low-pass filter, and the biochemical signals are nonlinearly modulated by the pulsatile flows, which depend on the biochemical signal frequency, the flow signal frequency, and the biochemical signal transporting distance. It is concluded that, the transfer characteristics of the dynamic biochemical signals, which are transported in the time-varying flows, should be carefully considered for better loading biochemical signals on the cells cultured on the bottom of the microfluidic channel. 展开更多

It has been proved to have advantages in some parameter estimation issues over conventional modulation schemes. In this paper, a novel transform termed as Discrete Sinusoidal Frequency Modulation transform(DSFMT) is proposed. Then, the DSFMT of SNCK signal is deduced and classified into three types, based on which, the time-bandwidth product is estimated by the proposed algorithm. Photonic Vector Signal Generation by Frequency Sextupling for Radio Over Fiber Systems

To generate high-frequency radio frequency(RF) vector signals, a vector signal generation method by optical frequency sextupling using a dual-parallel modulator is proposed. The method modulates vector signal on +3 rd order optical sideband and local oscillator(LO) signal on-3 rd order sideband using the intermodulation process in the DPMZM. After suppressing of the optical carrier and other sidebands through proper adjustment for modulator biases and modulation index, a frequency sextupled millimeter-wave vector signal can be generated after photodetection. The frequency sextupling will lower the bandwidth of the modulator, the local oscillator and the driving circuits. In addition, the phase of generated signal is not distorted after detection, and the power fading after fiber transmission can be avoided. In the simulation, a 500-MSym/s QPSK signal at 60 GHz is generated by 10-GHz drive signal. After travelling over fiber with length of 20/30/40-km, receiver power penalty keeps below 2.5 dB. 展开更多

Further, noninteger searching method for the signal constellation parameters design is proposed in order to get better codes. Experimental results show that under the different Doppler spread and data transmission rate, the proposed design performs better than the previous design using integer parameters in Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system over frequency-selective fading channels. 展开更多

A theoretical analysis leading to the operating conditions to achieve frequency 16-tupling is developed. Different modulation indices (MIs) can be implemented to achieve the frequency multiplication by adjusting the delay of tunable optical delay line (TODL). It is confirmed by simulation that the proposed scheme is effective, and the radio frequency spurious suppression ratio (RFSSR) of the generated frequency 16-tupling signal can be as high as 40 dB when the sub-MZMs have extinction ratios of 30 dB. Influencing factors such as extinction ratio, DC bias drift, phase shift deviation and RF voltage deviation on the performance of optical sideband suppression ratio (OSSR) and RFSSR are also investigated. </div> 展开更多

Based on the advantage of phase coded signal and stepped frequency signal,a new hybrid modulation signal is introduced in this paper. It combines phase code modulation during the pulse with stepped frequency modulation between the pulses, which is named as phase-coded stepped-frequency ( PCSF ) signal. By analyzing its waveform and ambiguity function,the comparison between Stepped-Frequency ( SF) signal and PCSF signal is given,which shows that the PCSF signal is better than SF signal. Finally,the signal processing method with two stage compressed processing is presented. The simulation results show that this new hybrid modulation radar signal can get a higher stepped frequency than ordinary SF signal,realize the same equivalent bandwidth with less pulse number,and solve the conflict among the stepped frequency,the number of pulse, and transmit average power. Under the premises of a certain range resolution,this new hybrid modulation radar signal not only raises the data rate of radar system,but also reduces Doppler sensitivity with a good prospect, and the effect of one-dimensional range profile is much better than that of traditional SF signal. 基于差频解算的调频连续波激光测距技术存在测量距离短、易受噪声干扰、受非线性调频影响大的问题。为了在相同机制条件下解决此问题,提出了基于匹配滤波的调频连续波激光测距方法,改进相干探测光路,加入信号反转单元和信号共轭单元,将... 基于差频解算的调频连续波激光测距技术存在测量距离短、易受噪声干扰、受非线性调频影响大的问题。为了在相同机制条件下解决此问题,提出了基于匹配滤波的调频连续波激光测距方法,改进相干探测光路,加入信号反转单元和信号共轭单元,将混频器换成卷积器,同时满足系统响应与发射波形匹配,并进行了相关仿真实验。结果表明,相比差频解算方法,匹配滤波方法可实现两倍于差频解算方法的测距范围,信噪比提高了9.5 dB,在非线性调频误差为19.8 MHz、198 MHz和396 MHz条件下均能得到较高分辨率的距离谱,表现出较好的抵抗非线性调频的能力。此研究可为该领域的科研工作者提供技术指导和新的思路。 展开更多

针对单通道条件下同频同调制混合信号分离时存在的计算复杂度高、分离效果差等问题,提出一种基于时域卷积的多尺度融合递归卷积神经网络(recursive convolutional neural network, RCNN),采用编码、分离、解码结构实现单通道盲源分离。... 针对单通道条件下同频同调制混合信号分离时存在的计算复杂度高、分离效果差等问题,提出一种基于时域卷积的多尺度融合递归卷积神经网络(recursive convolutional neural network, RCNN),采用编码、分离、解码结构实现单通道盲源分离。首先,编码模块提取出混合通信信号的编码特征;然后,分离模块采用不同尺度大小的卷积块以进一步提取信号的特征信息,再利用1×1卷积块捕获信号的局部和全局信息,估计出每个源信号的掩码;最后,解码模块利用掩码与混合信号的编码特征恢复源信号波形。仿真结果表明,所提多尺度融合RCNN不仅可以分离出仅有少量参数区别的混合通信信号,而且相较于U型网络(U-Net)降低了约62%的参数量和41%的计算量,同时网络也具有较强的泛化能力,可以高效面对复杂通信环境的挑战。 展开更多

A method to evaluate the influence of the laser linewidth on the linearly frequency-modulated(LFM)signals generated by heterodyning two free-running laser diodes(LDs)is proposed.The Pearson correlation coefficient between the instantaneous frequency of the generated LFM signal and that of an ideal LFM signal is introduced to quantify the quality of the generated LFM signal.The closed-form solution of the correlation coefficient is given,which shows that the correlation coefficient is determined by the ratio of the LFM signal bandwidth to the square root of the total linewidth of the two LDs when the observation interval is fixed.Simulation results are also given,which proves the correctness of the theoretical results. 展开更多

为提升复杂电磁环境战场中调频无线电引信的抗干扰能力,基于稀疏表示理论,将稀疏表示系数重构用于调频无线电的目标和干扰信号分类识别,提出一种目标信号和扫频式干扰信号的分类识别方法,解决了调频无线电引信的抗干扰能力不足的问题。... 为提升复杂电磁环境战场中调频无线电引信的抗干扰能力,基于稀疏表示理论,将稀疏表示系数重构用于调频无线电的目标和干扰信号分类识别,提出一种目标信号和扫频式干扰信号的分类识别方法,解决了调频无线电引信的抗干扰能力不足的问题。采集了模拟目标及干扰信号作用于无线电引信的检波端输出信号,构建了目标信号过完备字典和干扰信号过完备字典,分别将测试信号在2类字典上进行稀疏分解并重构,依据重构误差对测试样本类别进行识别。结果表明:基于稀疏表示的调频无线电引信目标和干扰信号分类识别方法,可以对目标和干扰信号进行有效的识别,同时能够满足较低的虚警概率。研究成果对于调频无线电引信在复杂电磁环境中的抗干扰具有重要的借鉴意义。 展开更多

为了提高电力系统振荡下动态相量和频率的估计精度,优化电力系统存在振荡情况下的信号模型,构建一种由幅值调制与相角调制参数构成的混合调制(HM)模型。对信号采用泰勒级数展开计算实现线性化转换过程,设计相应的实验来实现振荡信号与... 为了提高电力系统振荡下动态相量和频率的估计精度,优化电力系统存在振荡情况下的信号模型,构建一种由幅值调制与相角调制参数构成的混合调制(HM)模型。对信号采用泰勒级数展开计算实现线性化转换过程,设计相应的实验来实现振荡信号与频率线性变化条件下的算法性能验证。研究结果表明,提高幅值与相角调制系数时形成了更大的误差,TVE都在3×10^(-4)%以内,满足标准测试要求。设置噪声信号后形成了更明显的测试误差,TVE都在0.06%以内,比标准3%更小,同时频率变化率误差低于15 Hz/s。故障信号测试发现,采用所提算法经过1.2 s振荡后形成的幅值估计曲线未出现明显波动,表现为更光滑的特点。 展开更多
