Enhancing distribution system resilience is a new challenge for researchers.Supplying distribution loads,especially the residential customers and high-priority loads after disasters,is vital for this purpose.In this paper,the internal combustion engine(ICE)vehicles are firstly introduced as valuable backup energy sources in the aftermath of disasters and the use of this technology is explained.Then,the improvement of distribution system resilience is investigated through supplying smart residential customers and injecting extra power to the main grid.In this method,it is assumed that the infrastructure of distribution system is partially damaged(common cases)and it can be restored in less than one day.The extra power of residential customer can be delivered to other loads.A novel formulation for increasing the injected power of the smart home to the main grid using ICE vehicles is proposed.Moreover,the maximum backup duration in case of extensive damages in the distribution system is calculated for some commercial ICE vehicles.In this case,the smart home cannot deliver extra energy to the main grid because of its survivability.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method for increasing backup power during power outages.It is also shown that ICE vehicles can supply residential customers for a reasonable amount of time during a power outage. 展开更多

Computer aided modeling techniques could provide requisite information for follow up designing segments such as structural analysis, design of technological process and manufacturing etc, and thereby lead to the reduction of product design period and the quality and reliability improvement of ICE components. So the developing situations of ICE components' 2 D drafting, 3 D modeling of ICE, overall CAD of ICE as well as component design expert system etc. are surveyed, which are the typical applications of computer aided modeling techniques in ICE component design process, and some existent problems and tasks are pointed out so as to make some references for the further research work. 展开更多

This study is an optimized extension based on the authors’previous research on the tribo-chemical reaction under constant temperature field of two-stroke internal combustion engines(ICEs).It establishes a coupled analysis model that considers the tribo-chemical reactions,dynamic contact,and interface lubrication of the piston ring-cylinder liner(PRCL)system under transient temperature conditions.In this study,for the first time,the prediction of the tribofilm thickness and its influence on the surface micro-topography(the comprehensive roughness)are coupled in the working temperature field of the PRCL system,forming an effective model framework and providing a model basis and analytical basis for subsequent research.This study findings reveal that by incorporating temperature and tribofilm into the simulation model,the average friction deviation throughout the stroke decreases from 8.92%to 0.93%when compared to experimental results.Moreover,the deviation during the combustion regime reduces from 39.56%to 7.34%.The proposed coupled model provides a valuable tool for the evaluation of lubrication performance of the PRCL system and supports the analysis software forward design in two-stroke ICEs. 展开更多

为了评估二冲程电热塞点火微型内燃机的燃烧特性,构建了测试平台进行燃烧测试。与常规汽油机对比分析表明:微型内燃机放热率低、循环变动大、燃烧持续期长,比常规尺寸机型燃烧持续期长约20°CA,并且平均指示压力(p_(mi))和燃烧压力... 为了评估二冲程电热塞点火微型内燃机的燃烧特性,构建了测试平台进行燃烧测试。与常规汽油机对比分析表明:微型内燃机放热率低、循环变动大、燃烧持续期长,比常规尺寸机型燃烧持续期长约20°CA,并且平均指示压力(p_(mi))和燃烧压力低;电热塞点火形式无固定点火时间,燃烧始点波动很大,导致微空间燃烧不稳定。基于首着火循环的瞬态分析表明:微型内燃机较高的残余废气系数是微空间燃烧特性差的主要原因;无残余废气情况下,微型内燃机燃烧放热率曲线与常规机型相当,燃烧持续期约为22°CA,比稳定燃烧时缩短近50%;缸体温度和残余废气共同影响燃烧始点和燃烧持续期,但残余废气是主要影响因素;残余废气量和缸体温度越高,对应的pmi越低,当缸体温度为150℃时,稳定燃烧状态下的pmi仅为0.17 MPa。 展开更多

为研究缸径对微型内燃机微燃烧特性的影响机理及探索实现燃烧的临界缸径,采用层流有限速率模型和甲醇燃烧化学反应机理及动态网格技术,对其闭口热力系的瞬态预混层流燃烧过程进行动态多维仿真。并运用微观化学反应机理对不同缸径和压缩... 为研究缸径对微型内燃机微燃烧特性的影响机理及探索实现燃烧的临界缸径,采用层流有限速率模型和甲醇燃烧化学反应机理及动态网格技术,对其闭口热力系的瞬态预混层流燃烧过程进行动态多维仿真。并运用微观化学反应机理对不同缸径和压缩比时的微型内燃机燃烧和排放性能进行分析。研究结果表明:仿真与试验结果比较吻合,当缸径从10.8mm减至3.38mm时,缸内平均温度和压力及NO、CO、CH_2O排放浓度呈先增大后减小的趋势,最高压力值增加了约1.5MPa。在文中参数下,实现燃气完全燃烧的临界缸径约为4.5mm,完全不燃烧的缸径约为3.38mm。通过进一步分析,揭示了缸径对燃烧性能的影响主要取决于缸内未燃低温燃气总量和对环境散热量占燃烧释放总热量比值两个因素。分析还表明,随着缸径变化,缸内自由活性基团浓度和基元反应速率都将变化,并影响整个燃烧过程。随着压缩比提高,缸内温度和压力及NO、CO和CH_2O排放浓度增大。 展开更多

Using the finite element method (FEM), we compare these two kinds of LAs. The FEM result shows that the flat-type permanent magnet LA has higher efficiency and larger output specific power than the tubular one, therefore more suitable for FPLAs, and that the alternator design can be optimized with respect to the permanent magnet length as well as the air gap. 展开更多
