This cross-domain convergence not only drives technological innovation but also paves new paths for a myriad of novel research and applications. This paper introduces CLIP-Retrieval, an image retrieval method designed specifically for the Cats vs. Dogs dataset and railway-related datasets. The goal is to address the challenges posed by complex backgrounds and multi-angle photography in both public and specialized domains. CLIP-Retrieval leverages the image encoder of the CLIP model as its core architecture, extracting image features and constructing a similarity matrix to compute similarity scores between different images. Based on the sorted results, it displays the most relevant images. To verify the robustness and stability of CLIP-Retrieval, we conducted comparison studies and interference resistance experiments. Experimental results show significant performance improvements, demonstrating excellent image retrieval effects. Specifically, CLIP-Retrieval effectively handles complex backgrounds and pose variations across different datasets, providing accurate and efficient retrieval services.展开更多

Effective video frame sampling plays a crucial role in improving retrieval performance, as it determines the quality of the visual content representation. Traditional sampling methods, such as uniform sampling and optical flow-based techniques, often fail to capture the full semantic range of videos, leading to redundancy and inefficiencies. In this work, we propose CLIP4Video-Sampling: Global Semantics-Guided Multi-Granularity Frame Sampling for Video-Text Retrieval, a global semantics-guided multi-granularity frame sampling strategy designed to optimize both computational efficiency and retrieval accuracy. By integrating multi-scale global and local temporal sampling and leveraging the CLIP (Contrastive Language-Image Pre-training) model’s powerful feature extraction capabilities, our method significantly outperforms existing approaches in both zero-shot and fine-tuned video-text retrieval tasks on popular datasets. CLIP4Video-Sampling reduces redundancy, ensures keyframe coverage, and serves as an adaptable pre-processing module for multimodal models.展开更多

Firstly, an analysis is conducted on the mechanism of PM synchronous high-speed motor eddy current loss production, the theoretical analytical model of PM eddy current loss is deduced, and it is theoretically proved that the magnetic pole shaving angle can reduce PM eddy current loss. Then, a 25 KW surface-type PM synchronous high-speed motor as an object, using two-dimensional time-step finite element method (FEM) to model and analyze PM eddy current loss. The results show that the smaller the PM pole shaving angle, the less its eddy current loss will be, it is possible to minimize the pole shaving angle of eddy current loss by 9.8% compared to the unshaved angle. Finally, the temperature field of the PM is calculated using a finite element method, and the outcomes demonstrate that the maximum temperature of the PM with a magnetic pole shaving angle can be reduced by about 5% compared with the unshaved angle.展开更多
