However, the limited computational resources of satellites necessitate the use of edge computing to enhance secure communication. While edge computing reduces the burden on cloud computing, it introduces security and reliability challenges in open satellite communication channels. To address these challenges, we propose a blockchain architecture specifically designed for edge computing in mega-constellation communication systems. Simulation results demonstrate that our approach achieves a task result reliability of 95% while improving computational speed.展开更多

Nevertheless, due to the limited computing power capability of edge devices and task-related coupling relationships, Io MT faces unprecedented challenges. Considering the associative connections among tasks, this paper proposes a computing offloading policy for multiple-user devices(UDs) considering device-to-device(D2D) communication and a multi-access edge computing(MEC)technique under the scenario of Io MT. Specifically,to minimize the total delay and energy consumption concerning the requirement of Io MT, we first analyze and model the detailed local execution, MEC execution, D2D execution, and associated tasks offloading exchange model. Consequently, the associated tasks’ offloading scheme of multi-UDs is formulated as a mixed-integer nonconvex optimization problem. Considering the advantages of deep reinforcement learning(DRL) in processing tasks related to coupling relationships, a Double DQN based associative tasks computing offloading(DDATO) algorithm is then proposed to obtain the optimal solution, which can make the best offloading decision under the condition that tasks of UDs are associative. Furthermore, to reduce the complexity of the DDATO algorithm, the cacheaided procedure is intentionally introduced before the data training process. This avoids redundant offloading and computing procedures concerning tasks that previously have already been cached by other UDs. In addition, we use a dynamic ε-greedy strategy in the action selection section of the algorithm, thus preventing the algorithm from falling into a locally optimal solution. Simulation results demonstrate that compared with other existing methods for associative task models concerning different structures in the Io MT network, the proposed algorithm can lower the total cost more effectively and efficiently while also providing a tradeoff between delay and energy consumption tolerance.展开更多

文摘By pushing computation, cache, and network control to the edge, mobile edge computing(MEC)is expected to play a leading role in fifth generation(5G)and future sixth generation(6G).Nevertheless,facing ubiquitous fast-growing computational demands,it is impossible for a single MEC paradigm to effectively support high-quality intelligent services at end user equipments(UEs).To address this issue,we propose an air-ground collaborative MEC(AGCMEC)architecture in this article. The proposed AGCMEC integrates all potentially available MEC servers within air and ground in the envisioned 6G,by a variety of collaborative ways to provide computation services at their best for UEs.Firstly,we introduce the AGC-MEC architecture and elaborate three typical use cases. Then,we discuss four main challenges in the AGC-MEC as well as their potential solutions.Next,we conduct a case study of collaborative service placement for AGC-MEC to validate the effectiveness of the proposed collaborative service placement strategy. Finally,we highlight several potential research directions of the AGC-MEC.

文摘Reliable communication and intensive computing power cannot be provided effectively by temporary hot spots in disaster areas and complex terrain ground infrastructure.Mitigating this has greatly developed the application and integration of UAV and Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)to the Internet of Things(loT).However, problems such as multi-user and huge data flow in large areas, which contradict the reality that a single UAV is constrained by limited computing power, still exist.Due to allowing UAV collaboration to accomplish complex tasks, cooperative task offloading between multiple UAVs must meet the interdependence of tasks and realize parallel processing, which reduces the computing power consumption and endurance pressure of terminals.Considering the computing requirements of the user terminal, delay constraint of a computing task, energy constraint, and safe distance of UAV,we constructed a UAV-Assisted cooperative offloading energy efficiency system for mobile edge computing to minimize user terminal energy consumption. However, the resulting optimization problem is originally nonconvex and thus, difficult to solve optimally. To tackle this problem,we developed an energy efficiency optimization algorithm using Block Coordinate Descent(BCD)that decomposes the problem into three convex subproblems.Furthermore,we jointly optimized the number of local computing tasks, number of computing offloaded tasks, trajectories of UAV,and offloading matching relationship between multi-UAVs and multiuser terminals.Simulation results show that the proposed approach is suitable for different channel conditions and significantly saves the user terminal energy consumption compared with other benchmark schemes.

文摘The utilization of processing capabilities within the detector holds significant promise in addressing energy consumption and latency challenges. Especially in the context of dynamic motion recognition tasks, where substantial data transfers are necessitated by the generation of extensive information and the need for frame-by-frame analysis. Herein, we present a novel approach for dynamic motion recognition, leveraging a spatial-temporal in-sensor computing system rooted in multiframe integration by employing photodetector. Our approach introduced a retinomorphic MoS_(2) photodetector device for motion detection and analysis. The device enables the generation of informative final states, nonlinearly embedding both past and present frames. Subsequent multiply-accumulate (MAC) calculations are efficiently performed as the classifier. When evaluating our devices for target detection and direction classification, we achieved an impressive recognition accuracy of 93.5%. By eliminating the need for frame-by-frame analysis, our system not only achieves high precision but also facilitates energy-efficient in-sensor computing.

文摘In mega-constellation Communication Systems, efficient routing algorithms and data transmission technologies are employed to ensure fast and reliable data transfer. This architecture narrows down the consensus scope of the blockchain to meet the requirements of edge computing while ensuring comprehensive log storage across the network. Additionally, we introduce a reputation management mechanism for nodes within the blockchain, evaluating their trustworthiness, workload, and efficiency. Nodes with higher reputation scores are selected to participate in tasks and are appropriately incentivized. Simulation results demonstrate that our approach achieves a task result reliability of 95% while improving computational speed.

文摘Collaborative edge computing is a promising direction to handle the computation intensive tasks in B5G wireless networks. However, edge computing servers(ECSs)from different operators may not trust each other, and thus the incentives for collaboration cannot be guaranteed. In this paper,we propose a consortium blockchain enabled collaborative edge computing framework, where users can offload computing tasks to ECSs from different operators. To minimize the total delay of users,we formulate a joint task offloading and resource optimization problem, under the constraint of the computing capability of each ECS.We apply the Tammer decomposition method and heuristic optimization algorithms to obtain the optimal solution. Finally,we propose a reputation based node selection approach to facilitate the consensus process, and also consider a completion time based primary node selection to avoid monopolization of certain edge node and enhance the security of the blockchain.Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, and the total delay can be reduced by up to 40%compared with the non-cooperative case.
文摘Cloud computing provides a diverse and adaptable resource pool over the internet, allowing users to tap into various resources as needed. It has been seen as a robust solution to relevant challenges.A significant delay can hamper the performance of IoT-enabled cloud platforms. However, efficient task scheduling can lower the cloud infrastructure’s energy consumption, thus maximizing the service provider’s revenue by decreasing user job processing times. The proposed Modified Chimp-Whale Optimization Algorithm called Modified Chimp-Whale Optimization Algorithm(MCWOA),combines elements of the Chimp Optimization Algorithm(COA)and the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA).To enhance MCWOA’s identification precision, the Sobol sequence is used in the population initialization phase, ensuring an even distribution of the population across the solution space. Moreover, the traditional MCWOA’s local search capabilities are augmented by incorporating the whale optimization algorithm’s bubble-net hunting and random search mechanisms into MCWOA’s position-updating process. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach using a two-story rigid frame and a simply supported beam model.Simulated outcomes reveal that the new method outperforms the original MCWOA,especially in multi-damage detection scenarios.MCWOA excels in avoiding false positives and enhancing computational speed, making it an optimal choice for structural damage detection. The efficiency of the proposed MCWOA is assessed against metrics such as energy usage, computational expense, task duration, and delay. The simulated data indicates that the new MCWOA outpaces other methods across all metrics. The study also references the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA),Chimp Algorithm(CA),Ant Lion Optimizer(ALO),Genetic Algorithm(GA)and Grey Wolf Optimizer(GWO).

文摘In vehicle edge computing(VEC),asynchronous federated learning(AFL)is used, where the edge receives a local model and updates the global model, effectively reducing the global aggregation latency.Due to different amounts of local data, computing capabilities and locations of the vehicles, renewing the global model with same weight is inappropriate. The above factors will affect the local calculation time and upload time of the local model, and the vehicle may also be affected by Byzantine attacks, leading to the deterioration of the vehicle data. However, based on deep reinforcement learning(DRL),we can consider these factors comprehensively to eliminate vehicles with poor performance as much as possible and exclude vehicles that have suffered Byzantine attacks before AFL.At the same time, when aggregating AFL,we can focus on those vehicles with better performance to improve the accuracy and safety of the system. In this paper,we proposed a vehicle selection scheme based on DRL in VEC.In this scheme, vehicle’s mobility, channel conditions with temporal variations, computational resources with temporal variations, different data amount, transmission channel status of vehicles as well as Byzantine attacks were taken into account.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme effectively improves the safety and accuracy of the global model.

文摘With the rapid advancement of Internet of Vehicles(IoV)technology, the demands for real-time navigation, advanced driver-assistance systems(ADAS),vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)and vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2I)communications,and multimedia entertainment systems have made in-vehicle applications increasingly computingintensive and delay-sensitive.These applications require significant computing resources, which can overwhelm the limited computing capabilities of vehicle terminals despite advancements in computing hardware due to the complexity of tasks, energy consumption, and cost constraints. To address this issue in IoV-based edge computing, particularly in scenarios where available computing resources in vehicles are scarce,a multi-master and multi-slave double-layer game model is proposed, which is based on task offloading and pricing strategies. The establishment of Nash equilibrium of the game is proven, and a distributed artificial bee colonies algorithm is employed to achieve game equilibrium. Our proposed solution addresses these bottlenecks by leveraging a game-theoretic approach for task offloading and resource allocation in mobile edge computing(MEC)-enabled IoV environments.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms existing solutions in terms of convergence speed and system utility.Specifically, the total revenue achieved by our scheme surpasses other algorithms by at least 8.98%.

文摘The Internet of Medical Things(Io MT) is regarded as a critical technology for intelligent healthcare in the foreseeable 6G era. Simulation results demonstrate that compared with other existing methods for associative task models concerning different structures in the Io MT network, the proposed algorithm can lower the total cost more effectively and efficiently while also providing a tradeoff between delay and energy consumption tolerance.

文摘In this paper,we consider mobile edge computing(MEC)networks against proactive eavesdropping. To maximize the transmission rate,IRS assisted UAV communications are applied. We take the joint design of the trajectory of UAV,the transmitting beamforming of users, and the phase shift matrix of IRS.The original problem is strong non-convex and difficult to solve. We first propose two basic modes of the proactive eavesdropper, and obtain the closed-form solution for the boundary conditions of the two modes. Then we transform the original problem into an equivalent one and propose an alternating optimization(AO)based method to obtain a local optimal solution. The convergence of the algorithm is illustrated by numerical results.Further,we propose a zero forcing(ZF)based method as sub-optimal solution, and the simulation section shows that the proposed two schemes could obtain better performance compared with traditional schemes.
