This study aimed to investigate treatment-related symptoms in lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy,as well as effective self-care strategies to alleviate these symptoms.A total of 202 lung can...This study aimed to investigate treatment-related symptoms in lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy,as well as effective self-care strategies to alleviate these symptoms.A total of 202 lung cancer patients were surveyed using a treatment-related symptom checklist,Karnofsky Performance Status scale,and a self-care symptom relief questionnaire.The results showed that the most common treatment-related symptoms included fatigue(93.07%),loss of appetite(88.12%),nausea(82.67),hair loss(74.75%),vomiting(66.83%),pain(64.85%),taste changes(62.87%)and constipation(60.89%).The study also gathered patients’self-care methods that they found effective in alleviating these symptoms.Findings suggest that lung cancer patients bear a significant burden of treatment-related symptoms,and various self-care strategies reported by the patients were effective in managing these symptoms.展开更多

Although the cause of IBD is generally considered to be intestinal immune dysfunction induced by polygenic mutations and environment and other factors, VEO-IBD has a stronger genetic susceptibility specifically the neonatal- or infantile-onset IBD. Herein we report compound heterozygous mutations in the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13b (TNFRSF13B) gene in a 3-year-old male that was admitted to our hospital with lasted jaundice, repeated fever and diarrhea in May 2014 at 2-month-old. He was diagnosed with VEO-IBD based on clinical, laboratory and histopathological examination. However, he was unresponsive to the conventional therapy, including the nutritional support therapy, antibiotic and immunosuppressive treatment, and surgical release of neonatal intestinal obstruction. Atherosclerosis(AS)is a primary cause of morbidity and mortality all over the world.Molecular imaging techniques can enable early localization and diagnosis of atherosclerosis plaques.Recent newly developed chitooligo...Atherosclerosis(AS)is a primary cause of morbidity and mortality all over the world.Molecular imaging techniques can enable early localization and diagnosis of atherosclerosis plaques.Recent newly developed chitooligosaccharides(CSO)is considered to be capable of target mannose receptors on the surface of macrophages and to inhibit foam cell formation.Here we present a targeting magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)nanoprobe,which was successfully constructed with polyacrylic acid(PAA)modified nanometer iron oxide(Fe_(3)O_(4))as the core,and coating with CSO molecules,possessing the abilities of targeted MRI and specifically inhibition of the formation of foamy macrophages in the atherosclerotic process.The experimental results showed that the distributions of PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) and CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) were uniform and the corresponding sizes were about 5.93 nm and 8.15 nm,respectively.The Fourier transform infrared spectra(FTIR)testified the CSO was coupled with PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) successfully.After coupled with CSO,the r1 of PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) was increased from 5.317 mM s-1 to 6.147 mM s-1,indicating their potential as MRI contrast agent.Oil Red O staining and total cholesterols(TC)determination showed that CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) could significantly inhibit the foaming process of RAW264.7 cells induced by oxidatively modified low density lipoprotein(ox-LDL).In vitro cellular MRI displayed that,compared with PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4),CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) could lower the T1 relaxation time of RAW264.7 cells better.In summary,construction of CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoprobe in this study could realize the targeted MRI of macrophages and inhibition of ox-LDL induced macrophage foaming process.This will provide a new avenue in the diagnosis and treatment of AS.展开更多

Suspended moxibustion, an indirect form of moxibustion, is when moxibustion is placed superficially over the skin without being in contact with it. Some researchers have used this method to treat stroke patients, but strong evidence of its therapeutic effectiveness is lacking. However, the effect of traditional suspended moxibustion has recently been improved with the development of heat-sensitive suspended moxibustion. Our previous studies showed that moxibustion for 35 min provided a more effective treatment strategy than moxibustion for 15 min, and moxibustion by 35 min with tail temperature increase had a better outcome than that without, however, the mechanism underlying the effect is not clear. In this study, we treated the stroke rats with moxibustion by 35min and divided them into non-heat sensitive moxibustion(NHSM) group and heat sensitive moxibustion (HSM) group according to difference in the tail temperature increase, then we compared the effect and investigated the mechanisms between NHSM and HSM. We found that HSM significantly decreased tail-flick latency, increased neurological function score, decreased infarct volume, reduced inflammatory cells, decreased the expression of inflammatory factor ICAM-1 and reduced the expression of NF-κB p65 and p-IKKα/β in rats with focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. Our experimental findings revealed that HSM exerted its anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects from MCAO-induced injury by decreasing the expression of the NF-κB signaling pathway.展开更多

文摘The first method is used gene editing to knock out the PD-L1 receptor located on the T cell surface so that PD-1 on the cancer cell surface cannot combine with the PD-L1,in that case,T cell can identify the abnormal cell and kill it.At the beginning,researchers use protein-guided editing technology,but it is not easy to control and not specific enough,so they choose to use CRISPR-Cas9 to edit the target gene.Comparing with the traditional protein-guided nucleases,CRISPR-Cas9 system is more easy-handle,highly specific,and it is an more efficient tool for engineering eukaryotic genomes;because CRISPR-Cas9 system aims to edit the targeting genes by tiny RNAs guiding the Cas9 nuclease to the target site by base pairing.The second treatment is mainly used“fighting cancer with cancer”.Because living tumor cells have the ability to home and target tumors,thus,if those living tumor cells can be engineered to secrete therapeutic agents,the tumor cells can be effectively cured.Shah’s team picked the agent interferon-β(IFN-β).However,this idea of treatment is limited by the premature cell death due to autocrine toxicity.The researchers solved this problem by first using CRISPR Cas9 to knock out the IFN-β–specific receptor(IFNAR1)in inherently IFN-β–sensitive syngeneic tumor cells,and subsequently engineered them to constitutively produce IFN-βfor tumor cell targeting and simultaneous immunomodulation.These therapeutic cells are further designed to coexpress granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor(GM-CSF)that facilitates the differentiation,proliferation,and recruitment of dendritic cells(DCs).The last approach can stop cancer cell repairing their DNA when it gets damaged.
文摘Goal:To investigate the current status of quality of life of postoperative patients with gynaecological tumours,and to analyse the relevant factors affecting the quality of life of postoperative patients with gynaecological tumours.Method:One hundred and fifty-three postoperative gynecological oncology patients who attended the gynaecology and oncology departments of three tertiary hospitals in Henan Province from June 2023 to March 2024 were investigated by convenience sampling method.The patients’postoperative survival quality was investigated through the General Information Survey Scale and Quality of Life Score Scale.Results:The quality of life measurement scale score of postoperative gynaecological oncology patients in this study was(121.27±10.87),in which there was a difference in the quality of life of postoperative gynaecological oncology patients of different age,education level,marital status,and per capita monthly income of the family,p<0.05.Conclude:The quality of life level of postoperative gynaecological oncology patients is generally good,and age,literacy,marital status,and per capita monthly family income are important factors in the postoperative quality of life of gynaecological oncology patients.Healthcare professionals should focus on patients with older age,lower education level,unstable marital status,and poor economic status,and provide personalised targeted interventions to improve their quality of life.
文摘Globally,Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is recognized as a major malignant tumor,being the 6th most common in terms of occurrence and ranking third in mortality rates among all cancer types.Within China,HCC is noted as the fourth most prevalent cancer and the second most common cause of cancer-related fatalities.The difficulty in managing HCC stems from its tendency to remain undetected due to a lack of symptoms in the early stages,along with the current lack of both effective diagnostic techniques and treatments for chemotherapy.MiRNA,also referred to as microRNA,is a type of non-coding RNA typically consisting of 19-22 nucleotides in length.Upon binding to the mRNA of target genes,it functions to suppress mRNA translation or induce mRNA degradation,thereby exerting regulatory control over gene expression.Recent research increasingly suggests the pivotal involvement of miRNA in the onset and progression of primary hepatic cells.Studies exploring the association between miRNA and primary hepatic cell carcinoma hold substantial clinical significance in elucidating the pathogenesis,facilitating diagnosis,and advancing treatment modalities for liver cancer.

文摘Very early onset inflammatory bowel disease (VEO-IBD), IBD diagnosed before 6 years of age, frequently presents with increased severity, aggressive progression, and often poor response to conventional treatments. Although the cause of IBD is generally considered to be intestinal immune dysfunction induced by polygenic mutations and environment and other factors, VEO-IBD has a stronger genetic susceptibility specifically the neonatal- or infantile-onset IBD. Herein we report compound heterozygous mutations in the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13b (TNFRSF13B) gene in a 3-year-old male that was admitted to our hospital with lasted jaundice, repeated fever and diarrhea in May 2014 at 2-month-old. He was diagnosed with VEO-IBD based on clinical, laboratory and histopathological examination. However, he was unresponsive to the conventional therapy, including the nutritional support therapy, antibiotic and immunosuppressive treatment, and surgical release of neonatal intestinal obstruction. Novel compound heterozygous mutations, c.[365G>A];[452C>T](p.[R122Q];[P151L]), were discovered in TNFRSF13B, encoding TACI, for this patient.
文摘Objective:To study the M receptor blocker on inhalation in patients with overlap syndrome(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome)curative effect analysis.Methods:25 patients with overlap syndrome as the experimental group,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients(30)as control group,patients with overlap syndrome use inhaled tiotropium powder treat 30 days,to observe the changes of pulmonary function,polysomnography,and other indicators after treatment.Results:Overlap syndrome were treated by tiotropium bromide inhalation powder,has improved the pulmonary function,the sleep apnea index and lowest nocturnal oxygen saturation after treatment.Conclusion:tiotropium bromide has a preferable effective in treatment of overlap syndrome,COPD and OSAHS are interacting with each other.
文摘Objective:experience in post-implantation care and pipeline maintenance in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome.Methods:2020Admitted on 27 July1 Cases of severe pneumonia were transferred to severe ventilator on August 6 and to critical ECMO on August 10.Results:after active treatment,especially for the late stage of ECMO pipeline,the vital signs of the patients improved obviously and the condition gradually stabilized.Conclusion:The nursing care before and after the establishment of ECMO pipeline in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome,the matters needing attention and the working experience after the establishment,It can provide a reference for the treatment of severe infectious diseases in the future.

文摘Atherosclerosis(AS)is a primary cause of morbidity and mortality all over the world.Molecular imaging techniques can enable early localization and diagnosis of atherosclerosis plaques.Recent newly developed chitooligosaccharides(CSO)is considered to be capable of target mannose receptors on the surface of macrophages and to inhibit foam cell formation.Here we present a targeting magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)nanoprobe,which was successfully constructed with polyacrylic acid(PAA)modified nanometer iron oxide(Fe_(3)O_(4))as the core,and coating with CSO molecules,possessing the abilities of targeted MRI and specifically inhibition of the formation of foamy macrophages in the atherosclerotic process.The experimental results showed that the distributions of PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) and CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) were uniform and the corresponding sizes were about 5.93 nm and 8.15 nm,respectively.The Fourier transform infrared spectra(FTIR)testified the CSO was coupled with PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) successfully.After coupled with CSO,the r1 of PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) was increased from 5.317 mM s-1 to 6.147 mM s-1,indicating their potential as MRI contrast agent.Oil Red O staining and total cholesterols(TC)determination showed that CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) could significantly inhibit the foaming process of RAW264.7 cells induced by oxidatively modified low density lipoprotein(ox-LDL).In vitro cellular MRI displayed that,compared with PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4),CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) could lower the T1 relaxation time of RAW264.7 cells better.In summary,construction of CSO-PAA-Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoprobe in this study could realize the targeted MRI of macrophages and inhibition of ox-LDL induced macrophage foaming process.This will provide a new avenue in the diagnosis and treatment of AS.
文摘Objective:To evaluate the nursing effect of Ecmo treatment for severe patients.Methods:66 patients treated with extracorporeal membrane pulmonary oxygenation were included in the experimental data.From August 2018 to August 2019,the patients were divided into experimental group and reference group by random digital table method,each group was 33 cases.Routine nursing and targeted nursing were performed to compare the complications of the two groups.Results:(1)The correlation index of extracorporeal membrane pulmonary oxygenation treatment before treatment was consistent,P>0.05,the oxygen saturation and oxygen partial pressure of 2 h,4 h after treatment in the experimental group were higher than those in the reference group,compared with the reference group,the carbon dioxide partial pressure of 2 h,4 h after treatment in the experimental group was lower,showing statistical significance of data test(PP>0.05).(2)The incidence of infection,bleeding,coagulation,embolism and hypotension in the experimental group(12.12%)was lower than that in the reference group(45.45%),showing statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:the specific nursing effect of extracorporeal membrane pulmonary oxygenation in severe patients can effectively improve the success rate of treatment,and the possibility of complications during treatment is low.

文摘The incidence of aortic dissection(AD)is estimated to be 1 in 100,000 per year.The onset and progression of AD are rapid.Failure to receive appropriate treatment might lead to death in a short time.Even following active treatment,patients might develop low cardiac output syndrome,severe infection,and hemorrhage,which lead to death.Interventional therapy is a surgical method that has been widely used in Stanford type B AD recently.It is characterized by minimal invasiveness,low incidence of postoperative complications,and low cost.This article will review the interventional treatments for AD and will guide the selection of treatment options.

文摘Ischemic stroke is universally acknowledged as a common cause of long-term disability or even death. Suspended moxibustion, an indirect form of moxibustion, is when moxibustion is placed superficially over the skin without being in contact with it. Some researchers have used this method to treat stroke patients, but strong evidence of its therapeutic effectiveness is lacking. However, the effect of traditional suspended moxibustion has recently been improved with the development of heat-sensitive suspended moxibustion. Our previous studies showed that moxibustion for 35 min provided a more effective treatment strategy than moxibustion for 15 min, and moxibustion by 35 min with tail temperature increase had a better outcome than that without, however, the mechanism underlying the effect is not clear. In this study, we treated the stroke rats with moxibustion by 35min and divided them into non-heat sensitive moxibustion(NHSM) group and heat sensitive moxibustion (HSM) group according to difference in the tail temperature increase, then we compared the effect and investigated the mechanisms between NHSM and HSM. We found that HSM significantly decreased tail-flick latency, increased neurological function score, decreased infarct volume, reduced inflammatory cells, decreased the expression of inflammatory factor ICAM-1 and reduced the expression of NF-κB p65 and p-IKKα/β in rats with focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. Our experimental findings revealed that HSM exerted its anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects from MCAO-induced injury by decreasing the expression of the NF-κB signaling pathway.
