The Si+ imaging study shows that Si2+ dissociation results in two distinct channels: Si(3Pg)+Si+(2Pu) and Si(1D2)+Si+(2Pu). The main channel Si(3Pg)+Si+(2Pu)) is produced by the dissociation of the Si2+ ions in more than one energetically available excited electronic state, which are from the ionization of Si2(v=0-5). Particularly, the dissociation from the vibrationally excited Si2(v=1) shows the strongest signal. In contrast, the minor Si(1D2)+Si+(2Pu) channel is due to an avoided crossing between the two 22Πg states in the same symmetry. It has also been observed the one-photon dissociation of Si2+(X4Σg-) into Si(1D2)+Si+(2Pu) products with a large kinetic energy release.展开更多

BACKGROUND Acute methanol poisoning(AMP)is a systemic disease that mainly affects the central nervous system and is characterized by ocular damage and metabolic acidosis.If appropriate treatments are inadequate or del...BACKGROUND Acute methanol poisoning(AMP)is a systemic disease that mainly affects the central nervous system and is characterized by ocular damage and metabolic acidosis.If appropriate treatments are inadequate or delayed,the mortality can exceed 40%.As the most serious complication,cerebral hemorrhage is rare with reported prevalence of 7%-19%.CASE SUMMARY A 62-year-old man drank liquor mixed with 45%methanol and 35%alcohol.His vision blurred 10 h later and he fell into coma in another 9 h.Serum toxicological tests were performed immediately,and continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT)was carried out as the lactic acid exceeded 15 mmol/L and blood pH was 6.78.In addition,the toxicological report revealed 1300.5μg/mL of methanol in serum and 1500.2μg/mL in urine.After 59 h of CRRT,the methanol level decreased to 126.0μg/mL in serum and 151.0μg/mL in urine.However,the patient was still unconscious and his pupillary light reflex was slow.Computed tomography showed hemorrhage in the left putamen.After 16 d of life support treatment,putamen hemorrhage developed into diffuse symmetric intracerebral hemorrhage.In the end,his family gave up and the patient was discharged,and died in a local hospital.CONCLUSION Cerebral hemorrhage requires constant vigilance during the full course of treatment for severe cases of AMP.展开更多

The waveguides are fabricated by a combination of MeV co...We report on the fabrication of the lO-mm-long lithium niobate ridge waveguide and its supercontinuum gen- eration at near-visible wavelengths (around 800hm). The waveguides are fabricated by a combination of MeV copper ion implantation followed by wet etching in a proton exchanged lithium niobate planar waveguide. Using a mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser with a central wavelength of 800nm, the generated broadest supereontinuum through the ridge waveguides spans 302 nm (at -30 dB points), from 693 to 995 nm. Temporal coherence proper- ties of the supercontinuum are experimentally studied by a Michelson interferometer and the coherence length of the broadest supercontinuum is measured to be 5.2 μm. Our results offer potential for a compact and integrated supercontinuum source for applications including bio-imaging, spectroscopy and optical communication.展开更多

BACKGROUND Pharmacological treatments are commonly used in individuals experiencing perinatal depression(PPD);however,a debate regarding the reproductive safety of antidepressants is ongoing.Many pregnant women opt to...BACKGROUND Pharmacological treatments are commonly used in individuals experiencing perinatal depression(PPD);however,a debate regarding the reproductive safety of antidepressants is ongoing.Many pregnant women opt to discontinue antidepressant out of concern about potential negative effects on the developing fetus,while slow and ineffective antidepressant medications hinder improved outcomes in women with PPD.In recent years,bright light therapy(BLT)has gained traction as a treatment option for PPD;however,clinical trials findings examining the efficacy of BLT in this population have been inconclusive.AIM To validate the feasibility and safety of BLT for the treatment of PPD.METHODS We performed a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of patients with PPD treated with BLT vs placebo following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis.We searched PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,and Web of Science for randomized controlled studies published up to December 2023.The results were evaluated using the standardized mean difference of improvement for depression scores and odds ratios(ORs)for remission rate,response rate,incidence of adverse events,and dropout rate.RESULTS The BLT group had higher PPD response rate[50.68%vs 33.08%;OR=2.05;95% confidence interval(CI):1.25-3.35;P=0.004;I^(2)=35%]and remission rate(54.10%vs 18.52%;OR=5.00;95%CI:2.09-11.99;P=0.0003;I^(2)=0%)than the placebo group.Improvements in depression scores were higher in the BLT group than the placebo group for the overall efficacy(standardized mean difference=-0.47;95%CI:-0.80 to-0.13;P=0.007).No significant differences between the two groups in drop-outs(21.84%vs 29.63%;OR=0.63;95%CI:0.31-1.29;P=0.21;I^(2)=0%)or adverse events(17.89%vs 9.68%;OR=2.01;95%CI:0.95-4.25;P=0.07;I^(2)=0%)were observed.CONCLUSION BLT can potentially treat PPD,showing better results than the control group in this study.BLT is effective and safe and could increase the available therapeutic options for PPD.展开更多
The effect of Ti content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast light-weight Ti_(x)(AlVCr)_(100−x)medium entropy alloys was studied by compressive tests,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microsco...The effect of Ti content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast light-weight Ti_(x)(AlVCr)_(100−x)medium entropy alloys was studied by compressive tests,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.The results suggest that yield strength increases and then decreases with the increment of Ti content.The Ti_(60)(AlVCr)_(40)alloy has the best combination of high strength of 1204 MPa and uniform plastic strain of 70%,possessing a high specific yield strength of 255 MPa·cm^(3)/g.The enhancement of strength is mainly attributed to the synergic effects of solid-solution and coherent nano-precipitation strengthening,while dislocation motion such as dislocation pinning,entanglement and dislocation cells significantly increases the strain-hardening capacity.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Pharmacological treatments are commonly used in individuals experiencing perinatal depression(PPD);however,a debate regarding the reproductive safety of antidepressants is ongoing.Many pregnant women opt to discontinue antidepressant out of concern about potential negative effects on the developing fetus,while slow and ineffective antidepressant medications hinder improved outcomes in women with PPD.In recent years,bright light therapy(BLT)has gained traction as a treatment option for PPD;however,clinical trials findings examining the efficacy of BLT in this population have been inconclusive.AIM To validate the feasibility and safety of BLT for the treatment of PPD.METHODS We performed a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of patients with PPD treated with BLT vs placebo following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis.We searched PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,and Web of Science for randomized controlled studies published up to December 2023.The results were evaluated using the standardized mean difference of improvement for depression scores and odds ratios(ORs)for remission rate,response rate,incidence of adverse events,and dropout rate.RESULTS The BLT group had higher PPD response rate[50.68%vs 33.08%;OR=2.05;95% confidence interval(CI):1.25-3.35;P=0.004;I^(2)=35%]and remission rate(54.10%vs 18.52%;OR=5.00;95%CI:2.09-11.99;P=0.0003;I^(2)=0%)than the placebo group.Improvements in depression scores were higher in the BLT group than the placebo group for the overall efficacy(standardized mean difference=-0.47;95%CI:-0.80 to-0.13;P=0.007).No significant differences between the two groups in drop-outs(21.84%vs 29.63%;OR=0.63;95%CI:0.31-1.29;P=0.21;I^(2)=0%)or adverse events(17.89%vs 9.68%;OR=2.01;95%CI:0.95-4.25;P=0.07;I^(2)=0%)were observed.CONCLUSION BLT can potentially treat PPD,showing better results than the control group in this study.BLT is effective and safe and could increase the available therapeutic options for PPD.

文摘The effect of Ti content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast light-weight Ti_(x)(AlVCr)_(100−x)medium entropy alloys was studied by compressive tests,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.The results suggest that yield strength increases and then decreases with the increment of Ti content.The Ti_(60)(AlVCr)_(40)alloy has the best combination of high strength of 1204 MPa and uniform plastic strain of 70%,possessing a high specific yield strength of 255 MPa·cm^(3)/g.The enhancement of strength is mainly attributed to the synergic effects of solid-solution and coherent nano-precipitation strengthening,while dislocation motion such as dislocation pinning,entanglement and dislocation cells significantly increases the strain-hardening capacity.
